Fate/sixth apocalypse

Caster ignored him, instead focusing on the complex arrangement of magic binding her Master. As a Servant her capabilities were boosted far above what she'd been capable of in life - which was already a prodigious amount. And even in life she'd had to learn some measure of magecraft other than simply brute force. Given enough time, she could probably work out how to free Maeve.

"The algorithm is simple to crake" Arata says "You just add a little more power and"

One of Arata's hands managed to get free from the bindings and it tossed a gem at the bindings. As soon as it was close the gem disappeared and magic erupted around Maeve, who screamed in agony

That did it. Caster ripped the magical construct apart.

Apon doing so a huge amount of mana was released. Maeve fell down against Caster and the mana surged around the room before disappearing out of the room.

Soon after the mana disappears Saber materializes in the room "What did you do?" he asks Arata

Arata laughs "I just won the war"

Saber looks and sees Maeve broken and beaten by the magic bindings "If she's dead Saber thats a good thing you know, all masters and servants must be defeated before the war is fin-"

Saber quickly goes up to Arata and rips him out of the ice with raw strength. This hurt like hell and broke more then one thing in Arata's body "I left so that you could redeem yourself by letting her go and you brake her further"

Saber throws Arata on the floor at Saber's feet "Do what you want to him" he says

"NO. IN THE NAME OF MY COMMAND SEAL I ORDER YOU T-" Arata stops talking because Saber quick drawd his sword and cut off his hand containing the seals "You are not my master"

An instant later Arata's screams stopped as he froze instantly solid. Caster turned her attention back to her fallen Master, checking first and foremost to see if Maeve was dead.

She was alive but just barley. Saber walks over to Caster and Maeve he takes something out of his cloak and leans down. He was carrying a small vial and he pours the liquid over Maeve and all of her wounds started to heal "This is a elixir full of healing magic, my sister always had me carry three of these each time I went into battle. I'm sorry Caster, that I couldn't do anything more to help your master"

"Don't be. You did what you could." Caster looked up at him. "How long do you have?"

Saber looks at his hand "In truth I really don't know. In the history of the grail war when a servants master is killed the servant almost immediately makes a contract with another master. A pity, I get a second life and I never saw what I came to see"

"What was that?"

"My Noble Phantasm is summoning all of the warriors I fought along side in life. Many of them were my closest friends and family. They were the people that made my life worth fighting for, I'm sure you had family you cared for"

"Of course. But that was your sole reason for wanting the Grail?"

"My daughter was one of my warriors" Saber's eyes filed with sadness "I failed her, and she had to take up the sword. My wish was for her to live a life away from the battlefield"

"A noble wish." Caster couldn't help but feel slightly bad about the fact that Saber would never receive said wish.

Saber closes his eyes and waits to disappear. When he didn't feel his mana drop he started to wonder "Thats odd" he says

"Perhaps your time hasn't expired."

"No thats not it. I have a large mana supply from life but I don't feel my mana dropping at all. If anything it increasing, can't you feel it?"

Caster could feel that her mana supply was starting to go up

"Yes..." Caster was now slightly perturbed. "But how on earth could that be happening?"

Saber looks at the frozen shell of his former master "He said that he won the war when that mana left the room. What did he do?"

Maeve coughed awake "He's crazier then Berserkers master" she said weakly

"Is that possible?"

Maeve sits herself up and looks down at her hand, all but one of her command seals had faded away "He used them"

"How? And to do what?" Caster had a growing sense that something really bad was about to happen.

"Command seals are basically clumps of mana" Maeve starts "So he offered all three of my original command seals to hurry the summoning of the grail"

Saber looks out the window and sees golden Mana emanating from a temple in the mountains "Its here. The grail is in the world"

Outside, Rider's jaw dropped. "The Grail? How in the name of..." He didn't spend a lot of time questioning it before he sped off on his horse towards it.

Caster got up and offered Maeve a hand. "That still doesn't explain why you're not gone, Saber." Inwardly, she was even more concerned. She knew Rider was outside and he could almost certainly beat any other Servant to the Grail - they both were acting on the same wish, so that should solve everything - but given the circumstances she believed something was going to complicate the situation even further. Assuming it was possible, anyway.

Zia looks out from his lookout "No way" he says

Lindile was walking back to his base when he saw the light "Lancer, its here"

Wade waited atop a building with Assassin "Were moving now" he says before reinforcing his legs and going as fast as humanly possible to the light

Saber keeps looking out at the light "Clearly I'm still here for a reason" he says before punching the wall out of the mansion

"I've done you a great wrong Master of Caster, please allow me to make amens" all along his arm blue mana glowed with power "I know a woman isn't supposed to travel like this but allow me to get you most of the way to the grail"

Caster looked to Maeve to see her reaction.

Rider was already en route, speeding towards the Grail as fast as he could - which was damn fast, considering he was a Rider.
