Fate/sixth apocalypse

Willson looked grim "I would be a lier if I told you it was fine. In the last few hours alone most major cities have been converted into battle grounds. Washington D.C was nearly aniolated between a fight between only two Sabers. An evacuation into quickly made shelters should be sounded in a few hours, the only ones staying above ground will be masters and Servants"

"Wonderful." Troy polished off the Dew. "Any other Servants enter Fuyuki yet?"

Elizabeth fads into existence next to her master "None that I can sense"

"Weird. You'd think anyone who knew what was going on would head straight for this city - this is where the Grail is and all that."

"Well not exactly"

Troy arched an eyebrow.

"The grail's energy has expanded beyond what it would normally have. Saving a long winded speech, the grail can appear pretty much anywhere on the planet"

"Oh, fantastic...So if we keep hanging out around Fuyuki we're going to get nothing done?"

Sharur, roaming the town, had investigated Tohsaka Mansion while in Spirit Form thoroughly and was now searching the city for anything else that bore investigating.

Sharur felt something interesting in the Mato astate on the far side of town. It was clear that some serious magic was used there recently.

"Not true" Wilson says "This knowledge is only known to those that received servants in the holy church and a few other, this is not common knowledge. So to most masters and servants Fuyuki is the only city that can host the grail"

Sharur decided that was most definitely worth investigating and headed to the Matou estate to check it out.

"Alright, so aside from the Mages' Association, the Church, and the Three Families we can pretty much assume people are going to show up here. The first two are good guys...theoretically. And of the Families, the Tohsakas are apparently on a pleasure cruise, because reasons. At least according to Chrom."

Sharur went in but felt a barrier made to deflect Servants right outside the estate

"The Matou's are still in town and I haven't got any word on the Einzbern's. Arata according to my sources was the last battle worthy mage in the family line besides his father. His sister has potential but she's little more then 5 years old"

If Sharur had a body at the time, she/it would have scowled. Still, there was probably a hole in the field somewhere. The Rider class scouted out the barrier for any weak points.

"Matous. What do we know about them?"

She/It found a weak point right at the backdoor of the house

"From what I've heard they gave up there spot in the war for some reason. Other then the old man I really don't know much about the mages of that family"

Possibly a trap. Still, this was getting boring. Sharur made an attempt to enter.

"Well, they're probably in the war now. Should we send someone over to investigate?"

The field let her enter easily like it wanted her to come into the house that way

"I think someone from the Church went to check on there alinement, they haven't reported in yet"

Make that definitely a trap. Sharur decided, now that she was past the field, to enter via someplace other than the back door. In Spirit Form, she was easily able to phase into the ground, hoping to come up in the basement.

"Mm. How long ago was that?"

Sharur goes down to the basement and she finds an alter that had a corpse on it

"A few days ago" Wilson says with worry

Sharur examined the altar more closely - what sort of symbols it had nearby, stuff like that.

"I'm no expert, but I think he's dead."

The symbols around the altar were that of something of mana absorption. The body had apparently had all of the mana and life force sucked out of it

"You're more then likely right"

Sharur was disgusted and moved on through the house

"Once people are awake should we lay siege to the house or something?"

The house seemed to be deserted, who ever was there left in a hurry

"This is not some psychopath who got lucky getting a servant, this is the Matou's they have been fighting with servants longer then anyone other then the other lead families. Even if we all go stage a attack we wont come out un harmed"

With that, Sharur switched focus to any clues as to where they were going.

"We've got...five or six, right? If the Matous are in the same shape as the Tohsakas, they'd be outnumbered. And they'd probably be worse than the Tohsakas, given that Arata Tohsaka at least entered the War - the Matous sat this one out, so they probably don't have any real good candidates, right? And that's not even considering which Servants we have. Queen Elsa is the most literal definition of nuclear winter in the history of ever and apparently Elizabeth-who-I've-never-heard-of is even more powerful. Also I've got King Arthur and the only person to ever defeat her, and Booker and Roosevelt aren't too shabby themselves."

From what Sharur could tell they went into the city

Wilson relented "You have a point"

Elizabeth looked a little embarrassed "Thank you for thinking highly of me but in terms of raw power Elsa has me beat, I just have more control over what I can do"

How annoying. All that trouble to break in and nobody inside. Sharur picked her way back out of the house.

"You're welcome. We can't do anything until Maeve and Norah wake up anyway."

Before Sharur left a barrier erupted around her effectively trapping her in the singular space

"She takes her sweet time getting up" Booker says coming out of sprit form "Nothing you can do unless you want me to make a loud noise"
