(First off, you're absolutely right... not sure how I missed that. Sorry. Okay, ignore that. Weezing would likely have Sludge bomb which is really a pretty alright move, and the Forretress would have mirror shot and take down, neither of which is bad. I suppose it makes some sense that three pokémon versus sixteen, (theoretically; I'm not sure all of them were out of their pokéballs) the three would choose to retreat with a bang, as it were, but still, two level 35s (min) and a level 38 (again, min) could still probably wipe the floor with 16 level 20-ish pokémon without going critical... especially if they were smart enough to focus on the pokémon who had type advantages over them. Anyway, moving on.

Based on what you said, I'd like to have whirlwind replace gust, and just act like a somewhat stronger gust. (Base power 60 maybe?) I imagine you don't want me to just be able to end your random encounters (or switch out our opponent's pokémon) and I don't want to lose that attack option, so if that sounds good to you, go ahead and switch them. If not, leave it, and we can discuss it more.

In regards to Solosis then, I will replace Snatch with Hidden Power. (Maybe I can find a stat booster to increase the base power (by altering the IVs) later?) Also, Ouch, Poor Solosis! I need to find a way to heal it up!)

Dawn lay unconscious, slumped against the wall. Litwick was trying to revive its Trainer.

[When will we get our Christmas Pokemon?]

"I'm going to start looking around." Aaron says as he wanders off toward a nearby door, releasing his Larvesta, who follows him in.

"Hey let me know if you find anything that might help Solosis! It did take a heck of a lot of the damage for us!" Venus calls after Aaron. She herself looks around the room.

(Is there a door she should be looking at or something? I'm not really sure what the layout of things in and around the room is right now.)

(The room is fairly large, wide enough to fit several semis in. Near the door you guys busted down, there is a check-in office. Looking down the hallway, there are five doors on the left and four on the right not counting the check-in. Aaron went in the second door on the left.)

As Aaron enters the room, he spies a glass-contained conveyor belt sending pokeballs into a different part of the base. Running towards it, Aaron orders Larvesta to use Ember on the glass. The fire melts the glass, and just as Aaron reaches the belt, he sees the last pokeball making its way down the belt. Reaching through the glass, he manages to grasp the ball between two of fingers, barely lifting it off the belt. Larvesta, seeing the situation, grabs Aaron's pant leg, pulling him backwards, but hitting his arm on the still hot glass. Aaron, looks up with a pained smile at the pokeball in his hand.

Then, he takes a closer look.

Aaron stumbles up, before walking back to the group.

"Hey Venus!" he yells, "Guess what I found!"

Dawn regained consciousness slowly. Her head ached, waves of pain reverberating through it from where she had struck the wall. She groaned and hauled herself into a sitting position. Litwick, pleased to see Dawn apparently unharmed, promptly hugged her.

She looked around. Apparently she was in some sort of office...

"Hey, Dawn. Nice to see you're with us again; Luna still seems to be out." Turning back to Aaron, Venus calls out, "What's up?"

Aaron runs up to Venus and Dawn.
"Go, Audino!"

Laying its hands on Dawn, Audino releases a burst of energy that wraps around her. Slowly, Dawn can feel her pain disappearing.

"Thanks." Dawn said, sighing in relief as the pain receded to nothing. "I owe you one."

[I ask again, when do we get our Christmas Pokémon? Your entry about where Aaron got his Audino states that it was in the last Pokéball...]

(Yes, the last Pokemon in that particular room. Remember, there are four other doors on the left side and four on the right. Not to mention the rest of complex. And, as you may have guessed, Audino is Aaron's "Christmas" Pokemon)

"Hey Venus, send out your Solosis. Maybe Heal Pulse can fix that wound." He then leans out the office door yelling to May, "How is Luna doing? You should bring her in here."

"Hey, great idea; I was just about to suggest it myself. Solosis, come on out; maybe we can get you fixed up!" Venus says, as she releases Solosis from its pokéball. "Say, where'd Audino come from? Was it just lying in that room?" (Speration of player-character knowledge ftw!)

May helped up Luna and motioned her to follow her to the door Aaron was pointing at.

"There was this conveyor belt sending Pokeballs further into the base. I managed to save Audino, but the rest..." Aaron mumbles before have Audino use Heal Pulse on Solosis. Slowly but surely, the membrane starts to regenerate.

"Could there be more in these other rooms?" Dawn said, making a sweeping gesture with her arm that indicated the as-yet unopened doors.

"Seems logical enough." Venus says. "Why don't you go check it out? I'm going to make sure Solosis is healing well/fully, and then I'll join you."

Venus kneels down beside Audino and Solosis, and whispers some words of encouragement to Solosis as it heals. She then pats Audino on the head. When Audino is done healing she further thanks it by handing it a small piece of poffin from her pocket, and shakes its hand. Then, finally, she turns back to Solosis, offers it some poffin as well, and gently strokes its newly repaired membrane.

Dawn proceeded to do so, heading for the first door on the left side. She opened it and saw...

Dawn extricated herself from the pile of boxes and smoothed down her hair. "I'm fine."

As Dawn looks through the boxes, some are full of documents, others contain various pieces of broken equipment. One, however, contains several types of pokeballs, from dusk to nest to heavy.

However, Dawn sees that one of the pokeballs is rattling around, rolling around in the bottom of the box even when she doesn't touch it.

[I'm assuming that would be her Christmas Pokémon.]

Dawn, curious, picks that Pokéball up on impulse. She turned around and released the Pokémon inside...

(As you may have noticed, the Christmas Pokemon this time around get one move they wouldn't normally learn and get to learn one move earlier than they would normally.

As an added bonus, I'm making it easier to get dream world abilities. For these Christmas Pokemon, roll a d20 and subtract the number of abilities the Pokemon can get normally. In Mawile's case, subtract two. As I was saying, for these Christmas Pokemon, you only need to get a 10 or higher. For Mawile, that means rolling between 12 and 20.)
