Re: Pokémon Alexandrite
As the groups gets closer and closer to the door, the attacks connect...
and do absolutely nothing, as the Pokemon attacking the door go flying backwards, shaking whatever they used to attack the door, with pained looks on their faces.
"Uh oh!" Aaron yells, covering his head with his arms.
(Oh, and a side note...)

Venus quickly calls her pokémon back, and has those that know defensive moves use them. The rest brace themselves as she does.

Re: Pokémon Alexandrite
As Aaron braces himself, he feels a sharp rush of wind. Looking ahead, he sees an orange blur slam into the door...
which blasts inward, sending several guards on the inside flying.
Just as quickly as the orange blur is there, it disappears.

"Well then...", Venus is stunned for a moment, but then quickly leaps into action. "Metang use confusion on as many of the guards as you can; try to minimize their ability to deploy pokémon. Sigilyph, see if you can use hypnosis to do the same thing. Pawniard, get in there and be ready for the unexpected. Solosis, use reflect to cover of us (Venus is referring to both people and pokémon in the group) as you can.

The guards send out out a group of four Forretress, who throw up a wall of Protects, deflecting the attacks. The fifth guard sends out a Weezing, who begins to fill the hallway with smoke.

While backing away from the smoke, May set down her Turtwig, which she had been carrying, and ordered it to use Razorleaf with the hope that it would hit Wheezing.

"Litwick, use Confuse Ray on the Weezing!" Dawn said as she sent out her Pokemon.
Re: Pokémon Alexandrite
As the smoke blows away, the Fortress' and Weezing are glowing and shaking.
"Everyone get down!" Aaron yells as he recalls his Onix and ducks behind the debris from the door.

Re: Pokémon Alexandrite
Speaking mostly to her pokémon, Venus says, "Everyone, get behind Solosis, but be ready to get right back on the field when the self-destructs are over! Solosis, be careful, but use reflect!" Venus and her pokémon all jump behind the rubble, where Aaron is, except for Solosis, who perches on top of the rubble and uses reflect.

Re: Pokémon Alexandrite
"It's not self-d..!" Aaron tries to yell, but he is cut off by the four simultaneous Explosions. The blasts spread out through the area, destroying the ceiling and floor. Upon reaching Solosis, the Pokemon's Reflect shatters under the assault and the Solosis is sent flying into a sharp piece of debris, which tears into the side of the Pokemon's membrane. Solosis slides down the piece of debris, lying on the ground, eyes shut. As the dust clears, the Fortress', Weezing, and the guards are gone.

Re: Pokémon Alexandrite
Dawn, having reacted a little bit late, [Read: failed her Reflex save or I wasn't around to post XD] barely got out of the way in time and was slammed rather roughly into the wall. Litwick caught more of the blasts, but seemed to be unaffected...

(By the way two announcements:
1. Nothing from generation six will be used until the games are released in October.
2. There are lots of Pokemon that you guys have with pending moves. Either post your decisions here or send me PM.
HOWEVER, if there are still moves that have no choice one way or the other by the end of next Tuesday, those moves will be automatically lost. )

[Litwick learns Flame Burst over Night Shade, Servine learns Leech Seed over Leaf Tornado and loses Wrap.]
[Also, holy crap, Generation Six already?!]

(Oh, by the way, new eeveelution! No English name so far, but in Japanese it's called Ninfia)

[What type is it? And is that confirmed? Bulbapedia says only the starters and mascots are confirmed.]
[Also, is the Surf still following us or did it dissipate? IIRC Onix was propelled along by the Surf...]

(Dissipated as a result of having a large amount of room to be in, the floor is quite wet.
As for the info, it's from a well reputed source, has been correct countless times, called CoroCoro.
No news on type, all but officially confirmed at this point. My guess, either normal or flying. People are guessing that it will evolve by either a hold item or similar to how Glaceon and Leafeon evolve [Near a particular location])

May carefully stood up, checking to see if her group member were alright. She made her way toward Luna, who seemed to have been injured the most during the explosion.

Re: Pokémon Alexandrite
(I'm curious, if Aaron recognized what it was, shouldn't Venus have as well, and thus reacted differently? I made the assumption it was self-destruct, since I didn't think Team Rocket would take the trouble to TM teach it to their pokémon (which is the only way Wheezing could have learned it) and if Fortress knew it, then it would be level 42 (or would have evolved from a level 34 pineco), and they would probably just kick our asses without using a self-k.o.-ing move. That aside, until I'm told differently, I'll roll with it. Oh, and the new Eeveelution looks cool. I'm thinking normal type. Oh, and it's probably not Numbers' call, but it makes sense Luna would be the most hurt, since Doom hasn't posted during this entire episode.)
Venus rushes to Solosis, then turns to call back at the rest of her pokémon, "Everyone, I've got to take care of Solosis, all of you, help the rest of the team, but be smart and stay safe!" She looks at her team with worried eyes, and they all nod in response, and then move to back up everyone else; Sigilyph takes to the air to recon the room, Metang positions itself between the majority of the team and the rest of the room, and Pawniard goes over to Dawn and offers a hand up. Venus turns back to Solosis and strokes it's membrane a little. "You did fantastic, Solosis, now rest up and get better." Venus recalls Solosis to its pokéball.
(Oh, also Sigilyph will learn Psybeam over Psywave, and Tailwind over Hypnosis. What effect, if any would Whirlwind have in this RP, out of curiosity? Pawniard loses Torment in favor of Faint Attack. Solosis will forget psywave in favor of Light Screen, and will lose Charm. Also some questions here as well; Snatch only takes beneficial status moves, correct? And can I get some information as to what Solosis's Hidden Power would be, attack strength-wise and type-wise?)

Re: Pokémon Alexandrite
[I would agree that Luna is in fact likely to have been the most hurt, especially since Doom hasn't posted (which was the basis for Dawn and Litwick reacting less-than-promptly) but what it comes down to is, logic or not, that call is either up to Doom or Sheo.]
Re: Pokémon Alexandrite
(Firstly, if I'm understanding you correctly, you are saying that Weezing can only learn Explosion via TM? If so, then you're incorrect, as it learns it at Lvl 40, and at Lvl 37 as Koffing. Whirlwind would likely act as just a very strong wind. I mean, in the games, it ends wild Pokemon battles, and considering how aggressive some Pokemon are, it must throw them pretty far.
By my approximate calculations, Hidden power would be a ground type move with 41 base power.
Snatch takes all status moves, which are moves that don't directly deal damage, including stat boosting moves.
Also, as a note, Fortress' are almost purely defensive and Weezings aren't that amazing, so I don't think they would "Kick your asses".
Also, I would say Solosis is the most hurt
Oh, and the new eeveelution's English name has been revealed to be Sylveon)
