"Of course I'm not kidding." Roosevelt!Rider said. "You will of course remember Berserker and how he depopulated most of Fuyuki. And he was not the worst being to be summoned from the Throne of Heroes. Imagine that slaughter on a worldwide scale, or whatever worse things these twisted fiends can come up with. The best way to put an end to that is to run them into the ground." The former President slammed a fist into his chest. "I'll do it by myself if I have to, but that's no excuse on your part! Mr. DeWitt, Mr. Elric, Saber, and Your Highness, we have a job to do!"

Troy frowned at Arturia. "What are you doing? Why don't you just go into Spirit Form, you don't need to use cars."

Sharur inspected Elsa's file. "Obviously Queen Elsa is the most powerful in terms of brute magical force, but she's not a strategist and never fought in a war. She is liable to give in to human weakness at a critical point. Therefore, I believe Chrom is the greatest threat of the Servants currently in Fuyuki."

"Hey man don't get too excited without me" Booker!Archer says "I voted for you so I might as well fight by you"

"Seriously you voted for him?" Norah says

Saber smiles "If monsters worse then the dark king are now in the world again then I will not stand by either. I will fight at your side mister President. First thou I best get this out of the way first, as a knight I feel that since I know everyone's name and you don't know mine its only fair I tell you. My name is Chrom, Exalt of Yillisse and commander of the Shepherds"

Maeve nearly did a spit take "Wait back up, thee Chrom? As in single handily beat armies and King Arthur Chrom!?!"

"Yes"

"Damn" Booker!Archer says

"I have given up my ability to turn to sprit form in favor of keeping more power when in a fight" Arturia says

"Saber?" Artem asks "I mean he's the representative of the greatest knight class but Caster could more then likely flick her hand and send him to Siberia"

Elsa and Roosevelt looked suitably impressed by Chrom's identity. Roosevelt grinned his trademark broad grin. "Most of these Servants and their new Masters are almost certainly coming to Fuyuki. We should meet them as they arrive; speak softly and carry a big stick. If they're up to no good - well, four of us and one of them seems like good odds to me!"

Troy shrugged. "Well, alright then. Buckle your seat belt and we'll be off."

"My wielder, Ninurta, was a god of war, Master. The will to fight is every bit as important as the ability to do so, and Elsa has little to none." Sharur said, with the air of someone speaking to a stubborn child.

Chrom nods "The first thing we better do is locate all of the servants coming. Caster can you identify servants at a distance?"

Arturia buckles up

"Hey that tone is unneeded. I lost a servant already to caster, I'd rather not repeat that mistake"

"To some extent, yes." Elsa replied.

Troy started driving to the Chicago airport. Along the way, he eventually spoke up. "So, you seem to have a better grasp of the situation than me. What's going on exactly?"

Sharur shrugged.

"Then you will identify the servants as they come. Archer will take them out from a distance and if it comes to it Rider and I will engage them"

"The grail is in its primal state and has summoned all of its servants to battle. The one that stands at the end will live in this world with the power of the grail at there disposal"

"Right." Elsa turned to leave. She would need to set up surveillance at the entries into Fuyuki - the airport, railroad, and at each of the roads. Magical circles inscribed with ice should do the trick, allowing her, Maeve, and the rest of their group near-instant scrying access to each point where a Servant might enter Fuyuki.

"So it's exactly the same as any other Grail War but with a metric asston of Servants, then?" That simplified things immensely. Troy was already familiar with the War and how it was waged.

When Artem failed to say anything, Sharur spoke up. "I believe we should locate Chrom, Master."

"I will prepare the bass at the Tosaka mansion, since its open for service" Chrom says

"What happened to the brat that lived there?"

"He's still there, in ice"

"Put bluntly yes but the servant that wins can use the grails powers an infinite number of times"

*****

"He's Toshakas servant, so his mansion will be the best bet"

"In the meantime, I would like to speak with the Overseer of the war." Roosevelt said, setting off for the Church. "Mr. DeWitt, you may do as you wish - I trust your judgment."

"Damn." Troy said as they pulled into the airport parking lot. "Quite the prize there. Out of curiosity, what do you want it for?"

"You trust me? You'd be one of the first" Booker says

Norah raises an eyebrow "Am I in that list?"

"I don't know are you?"

"My homeland of Britain was conquered. I failed it, my wish if for its salvation"

"When? By William the Conqueror?"

"I don't suppose you have a map?" Sharur asked.

"At the time of my death Camelot fell and with it Britain. Morgan Le fey lead the apposing force with my daughter at the helm"

Artem brings Sharar a map of the city

"Huh. Well it did a pretty good job coming back from that, anyway." Troy said. "Gimme a hand with this suitcase, please?"

Sharur promptly started heading for Tohsaka mansion.

Arturia picks up the suitcase with one hand and puts it in the car

Chrom was reinstalling the mansions wards, not very well considering his background in magic was limited to blowing things up when he noticed Sharur walking up to the mansion. He goes outside to great Sharur "Welcome Rider" he says

"I mean we need to carry it into the building. To get on the plane." Troy said, facepalming as he hauled the other suitcase out.

"Hello Chrom." Rider said, adopting a battle stance.

Arturia takes the suitcase and fallows Troy

Chrom also adopts a battle stance "I guess you don't want to talk?"

Troy bought plane tickets for the two of them to Fuyuki.

"Correct." Rider said before charging him.

Arturia simply fallows Troy where ever he goes

Chrom meats Sharur's attack with his own and the two weapons clash with incredible noise and power "Quite the mace you have there"

A short while later they were on the plane heading for Fuyuki. Troy was using his phone to look Arturia up on Wikipedia - his history knowledge went about as far back as 1750 or so.

"Is this really the time for compliments?"

Arturia looks over at Troy and sees the article about her "If you wish to know about me all no need do is ask"

Chrom uses his blade and forces Sharur back "I'm just enjoying the time"

"I can read faster than you can talk, that's all." Troy said. "Besides, if you start explaining your own legend here in the plane that's not exactly the most secure thing ever, someone disagreeable could overhear."

"Where's your Master? Hiding in the mansion?" Sharur doubted of course that she'd get a straight answer.

"Very true" Arturia says and doesn't talk again

"Yes he is in the mansion but I doubt that he will be able to talk"

"As I said, I didn't come here for conversation." Rider feinted left then aimed a blow at Chrom's leg.

Chrom tries to parry the mace but gets knocked over. He instantly rights himself and jumps back for some distance

Rider decided not to let him have said distance, attacking with a powerful upward swing of the mace.
