Eric continues to get closer

Eric's approach set off the Persian. The catlike Pokémon slowly began padding towards Eric's position, looking for the source of whatever noise or scent had revealed Eric's presence.

Eric has no idea that the Persian is coming for him so he continues to sneak up to the house

Eric stuck his head out slightly to get a better view...and found himself face-to-face with the Persian, who blinked.

*Gulp* "Hi there" he says

Rob silently curses under his breath.

Eric does the stupid thing and quickly runs away

The Persian yowled after him, cuing the Arcanine to attack him, hitting him in the back like a freight train with ExtremeSpeed.

Eric gets thrown back by the force of the impact and lands on the lawn. In a very soft voice because the wind was knocked out of him Eric says "ow"

The Arcanine advanced at speed, flames gathering around its feet and chest as it brewed up a Flare Blitz.

With his last bit of strength Eric reaches for his belt and grabbed his gyarados' pokeball "A little help"

He releases Gyarados and the huge pokemon comes out with a roar

Shadow appears behind one of the grunts as Fang got the final Pokemon's attention with Riley staying back but in view as he holds an arm back so Dawn would stay back.

"Who are you and why are you here?!" Riley yelled as he kept both Lucarios from attacking. Shadow however created a aura sphere just in case his cover of surprise was blown. "My friend here won't hesitate to defend us." Riley says motioning to Fang. Fang smiles as it created a aura bone staff. "This is a chance to get facts straight. Who are you?"

Eric gets up and leans heavily on Gyarados "Man I could care less who they right now"

Rob, seeing what happened to Eric, decides to stand up and release empoleon. "Whoever they are, we're stopping them." He says.

"Thanks for the help"

Joltik gets mad at Arcanine for attacking November's friend and shoots a stringshot at the Arcanine.

Empoleon fires an ice beam at the Arcanine.

Gyarados raps itself protectively around Eric and uses mean look at Arcanine

November mumbled something about "poor Arcanine."

"Waterfall" Eric tells gyarados

Arcanine's speed made it incredibly difficult to hit. The String Shot, then Ice Beam both fell short. But Gyarados' Mean Look/Waterfall combo hit the dog-like Pokémon hard, knocking it back and through a wall with a yelp. The PI grunt gritted his teeth and grabbed at another Poké Ball. "Manectric! Thunder!"

From behind, Persian pounced on Eric again. Meanwhile Houndoom used a Shadow Ball on Empoleon.

Dawn, who had been about to grab Riley, hesitated. PI Security? But if they were here...

She took a step back, away from Riley and his Lucario. Whatever these other teens were here for, it couldn't be good.

"Fang, we need to leave. Try to make an exit." Riley says to his Pokemon before noticing Dawn's retreat. "We never came to hurt you. We wanted to question your mom, but never planned to hurt anyone. It was PI that caused the cataclysm. One PI grunt caused it, killing thousands of people. We tried stopping it but we failed." He said focusing on the fight. "But now we can't get out without somebody getting hurt. Shadow!" Riley yells before Shadow shoots the middle grunt in the back with the Aura Sphere. Riley creates his own Aura Spheres clearly visible to Dawn.

Eric gets pined under the Persian, he manages to get a hand to his belt "Charizard FLAMETHROWER"

Dawn backed way the hell off. Okay, these guys were definitely bad news. She started edging towards the door while Riley's back was turned.

Persian took the flamethrower and spat viciously. It opened its mouth, forming a globe of golden energy, aiming down at Eric's face.

Chaizard didn't like the fact that its master was about to be shot. So cue an angry charizard slamming a megapunch into Persian's face
