Jack looks back at November and Jonathan. "You guys coming or what?" He picks up another sap blob and (for the lulz) hurls it over his shoulder splatting into Novembers face. Jack laughs to himself at the sight of the "sticky" situation.

(I fear today might be my last day for posting, for now anyway. I'm moving on Sunday and have to give back my computer to the school. when I get a new gaming computer after we move I'll certainly be back on.)

Serena gave Jack a dirty look. "What is your problem?"

Des, meanwhile, went back to help November...

before Jack can answer her, he is sucked down through the ground along with Quilava, until further notice.

"W - what just happened?!" Serena stopped walking, shocked and more than a little upset by the fact that Jack had just sunk into the earth.

Des, meanwhile, tugged the sap off of November's face.

"What's happening?" A teenager says as he walks into the room.

"I just said that!" Serena said to the newcomer.

Desmond, meanwhile, made a flying leap with his butterfree net in an attempt to catch something he heard flying past. It didn't work.

November thanked Desmond again. Then she went the direction that Jack had gone.

(lols quietly to myself at the idea that until Blindguy returns we may all just be following a trail of rice balls looking in circles for an invisible thief in an infinite forest

oh, and I'm going to treat blindguy's post about Jack getting sucked into the ground as if it didn't happen, partly because Blaze isn't very observant, and partly because I feel like there's no in game explanation for it...)

Jonathan wanders in the direction everybody else is going, although he stops briefly to pick up another rice ball to burn.

"Didn't you say you were heading to Rustboro, November?" Serena asked, feeling that they were going nowhere.

"Yes I am going to Rustboro" November replies.

"Why don't we go there then? Jack is...er, gone, so we don't have to find his stuff, right?" Serena said.

"Let me just check the town map" November replies, rummaging through her backpack "I can't find it."

November failed to see the floating town map behind her which Haunter was holding.

In the meantime Rus is walking along the road, when his Armaldo spots a crumb trail and starts following/eating it.

Serena, noticing the Haunter floating behind November, facepalmed.

Desmond also noticed it and tapped November on the shoulder. "Um, is that the map you're looking for?"

November took the map from Haunter "yes, it is indeed. According to this map, to reach Rustboro, we'd have to go north.

"Does anyone know which way is north?"

"Yes, that would be in the direction that the crumb trail is taking us."

"I thought it was heading west..." Des said, scratching his head.

Jonathan picks up another rice ball and burns it, this time more slowly.

"Wait..." Des said. "Isn't it customary for new Trainers to battle when they meet?"

"seeing that my Pokemon are not in battle condition, you will have to wait for me to beat you." November replied.
