"Yes, yes I can." Teren said, fixing Sparte with a glare. She wasn't about to be friendly just because this person hadn't demonstrated she was a complete retard. Yet.

Luke, getting annoyed with this useless questioning, looks Scarlett straight in the eye and says in very emphasized syllables, "I Am Not Lying To You."

"What is it, then?" Lieutenant Sparte asks.

Captain Scarlett buys Luke's story- for the moment, anyway, as any further questioning wouldn't get him anywhere. He nods and motions for the two to get in the Flashspeeder, with Captain Scarlett as the driver. After they got in, they began to drive back to the barracks.

Trying to make small talk... 'So, who did you get to do the interrogation?"

"Teren Greyflight, Imperial Chief Engineer."

"Lieutenant Sparte. She's much better at interrogation than me." Captain Scarlett says.

Back at the barracks:
"Alright, Teren, do you know why you're here?" Lieutenant Sparte asks.

the 2 officers arrive at the barracks.

"Alright, Cadet, get inside and pull out two of the party. I need to ask them some questions." Captains Scarlett says to Luke.

"Because your guards are morons and therefore suspect me of being involved with whatever the hell blew up outside, despite the fact that I wasn't anywhere near it."

"Yes sir, any specific members?"

"Can you please take these $#@@ing cuffs off?"

"Sorry. Orders are orders." Lieutenant Sparte says in regards to Teren's question. "Try being more polite and maybe I'll take them off. Also, we just want to be clear on the fact you did NOT blow up the statues in the Courtyard that injured many officers. But that is not the only reason you're here, though. Want to take a guess why?"

"Let's start with the Jedi Bothan and the young Jedi female." Captain Scarlett says.

"Because that guard who brought me here has an insanely low tolerance for insults?" Teren said brightly.

"Wrong answer!" Lieutenant Sparte says with a smirk. "Care to try again?"

"No, not really. By the way, has anybody told you lately that you look like your face caught on fire and someone tried to put it out with a hammer?" Teren said sweetly, the very picture of innocence.

"Was that a threat? You do realise there are guards outside who will respond with force to detainees who attack their interviewer. And that won't help your case in a court of law." Lieutenant Sparte says in a serious voice. "Since you're obviously very immature, and therefore low on brains, let me give you a hint as to why you're here: it has to do with a crime in your apartment."

"Okay, the noise you heard a second or so ago is the point of that insult sailing right over your head, lady." Teren shook her head in disgust. "Is there some planet in the Outer Rim whose chief export is really, really idiotic people such as yourself or did the authorities here have to find you all individually?"

"Who's asking the questions here?" Lieutenant Sparte says with a look that should tell Teren to shut up. "Besides, that noise I heard sounded like a statement you made. You've just proven yourself to be a complete idiot, for- in my experience- people who are immature are also very stupid. So again, I'll ask: Do you know why you're here?"

"Hey, if I throw a stick, will you leave?" Teren asked, tilting her head to one side in a gesture of mock curiosity.

Lieutenant Sparte glares at Teren, but chooses not to say anything. "Young lady, do you know why you're here?"

"To make a mockery of you and your profession?" Teren grinned broadly.

"Wrong answer." The lieutenant says. "Here's another hint: it has to do with a Kubaz."

"Hmm...I'm a little busy at the moment, can I ignore you some other time?"

"Answer the damn question!" Lieutenant Sparte says.

"Okay, this is my last guess. I'm here because you possess a mind that is not only twisted, it's actually sprained."
