as the gungan rolls two grenades into the frey (one smoke one electric, or whatever they are called they paralyze bottom line)
as he then quickly ducks around the door into the hallway putting his back against the wall, pulling out and setting his weapon to stun, like a trained professional.

[I imagine the paralysis-causing grenades would be called stun grenades, Draco ]

Teren heard "grenades" and abruptly took cover, taking her roughly half-finished prototype and ducking behind the nearest item of furniture.

The gungan then activates his old war visor (aka tactical vizors aka he can see through the smoke)
then flips around the door into the room using the confusion to quickly grab all of his primary weapons (including his stollen lightsaber) and the keys to his speeder and with his weapon on stun ready, quickly backing away out into the hallway, and as he's running down the hallway toward the inbound lot. as he shout back
"Yousa was not prepared!"

_FYI: and yes he was doing all of this with minimum hidden weapons.

Horatio, who had made some effort to be out of the way of the grenades, dodges back into the room, only slightly disoriented.

"Ugh... that one must not get away."

Horatio then charges after the gungan, lightsaber ready in a defensive position.

Lieutenant Sparte, who is also a little disoriented due to her distance from the grenades (unlike Atton and Archul) then turns on her commlink. "This is Lieutenant Sparte. There is a deranged escaped criminal heading your way. DO NOT LET HIM ESCAPE!"

She too gives chase to the Gungan and shoots a stun blast at him...

The stun blast hits the Gungan in the back and he goes down, knocked out.

Lieutenant Sparte runs up, pulls out a pair of stun-cuffs, and slaps them on the Gungan. The then pulls her commlink out and says into it, "This is Lieutenant Sparte. The criminal has been caught and detained. I repeat, the criminal has been caught and detained."

Teren stood up from behind the (insert convenient and setting-appropriate piece of furniture here), brushing a few strands of hair from her face. "And for once it's not me being cuffed..." she remarked to nobody in particular. That done, she turned back to her tapegun already in progress.

"Yousa Not bad, but yousa should look behind yousa".
say's the gungan. using his shield to gesture toward the small gray cylinder charge placed at the bottom of the opposite wall, with a red light blinking 3,2,1..

[Draco, the Gungan's unconscious. Also, not to put too much of a dampener on your ideas here, but try to say that you place charges BEFOREhand, as opposed to right when they're about to go off. Otherwise it feels to the rest of us like you just handwaved them into existence for convenience's sake.]

"EVERYONE HIT THE GROUND!" Lieutenant Sparte shouts as soon as she sees the charge to everyone within distance, who scramble to safety just before the charge goes off. There were no deaths, though a few half-awake guards got injured just before they got out of the charge's range.

After the charge went off, the guards got up and brushed themselves off. Lieutenant Sparte and Captain Scarlett turn to the Gungan and- with a nod from Scarlett- Lieutenant Sparte picks up the unconcious Gungan and drags him to the interrogation room. Before the Gungan is dragged to the interrogation room, the guards closely search and relieve him of all weapons he has on him.

(Draco, the reason they're doing this is they want to know who this guy is and why he tried to run away.)

"Uugg"
moans the gungan waking up and finding his hands cuffed,
"Again with da cuffs."
and after some shuffling in place.
"Where are meesas picks."
"Where is meesas watch."
says the gungan finding out that he has nothing, again.
and this makes his serious, and pissed.
For it brings back bad memories.
The gungan then proceeds to sit DEAD STILL.

Lieutenant Sparte sits across from the Gungan and looks intently at him. "What is your name?" Lieutenant Sparte asks.

Commander Kleef, Ex head of the Naboo guard for representative Jar Jar Binks, security detail.
Kleef then lets of a soft moan in remembering the worst job he has ever had.
"and whosa are yousa?"

"My name is Lieutenant Sparte. Can you tell me why you tried to run?" Lieutenant Sparte asks again.

Teren, meanwhile, had completed her tapegun and test-fired it...at Bastila.

"Why meesa ran, meesa ran because meesa got a lead."
"Yousa see dat dere had been rumors dat an elite group would be going after da Empire."
"And, meesa had been following dose rumors. Dat's why mesa came heresa."
"Meesa looking for them see. meesa want to join them."
"So meesa ran because mesa got tip that theysa got confused with terrorist."
"And dat yousa just released dem."
"So meesa got to catch up to dem."
"And since yousa not with da empire, meesa can't kill yousa."
"Dat would be Rude."

Atton- somehow sensing Teren's intentions- jumps in the way of the tape before it hits Bastila, which pins his arms to his sides.

Meanwhile, in the interrogation room, Lieutenant Sparte- having deduced that Kleef was not lying- decides the interview was going to be more of a waste of time and ends it. She takes the cuffs off Kleef and instructs him to get his weapons from the guards.

Lilith wonders what will happen now. The group she is with has been standing around doing nothing for a while now.
