Fate/Fallen Order

"Arms in." Takeshi follows the instructions.

"Balls tucked."

"Balls i-wait what?"

Berserker puts on a sadistic smile before seemingly disappearing from sight.

The next thing Takeshi heard was "FOUR!!!

Then the Shielder was airborn as Berserker punts him straight at the dragon.

<This is a stupid plan, we should be doing something else entirely.>

<Like what?>

<LITERALLY ANYTHING FUCKING ELSE> Troy took his anger out by firing half a dozen times at the remaining eye.

Takeshi held his shield in front of him, anticipating the eventual impact in the dragon's face.

The Demi servant flew straight for the blind side of the dragon, smashing into the drake's scales and shattering them like glass. The dragon roars in pain, but it doesn't go down. Now, Takeshi was atop the dragon, hanging on for dear life as it thrashed about.

'A beast such as this will not fall without a blade to pierce it. You have that blade, hidden beneath the shield you carry.'

Takeshi reaches into the shield, pulling out the blade of which the disembodied voice spoke. He reels back with the blade and pierces the skin of the dragon.

'May the holy light shine again'

Takeshi reaches into his shield, and his hand passes straight through the metal into some sort of arterial pocket. It felt, cold, hopeless and threatened to break Takeshi's very soul. But something inside of him told him to keep going, to dig deeper, to fight on, to never stop until his opponent was defeated. This might be a duel, but it holds non of the honor required of a knight.

Instinctively, Takeshi tightens his grip around the open air, but somehow his fingers rap around something solid. It felt, like the hilt of his spear. Perfectly fitted to the grip of his hand, like it was the weapon he was born to wield. And as his fingers closed, strength and power surged through Takeshi like a storm. The cold was burned away, the helplessness is replaced by hope and his soul became that of the Knights of old.

Flawless, pure, and perfect.

With one swift motion, Takeshi pulls out the object from his shield. The sound of polished, sharpened metal sang through the air as Takeshi pulled out a sword.  



Everything about it felt strong, sharp and perfect. It was a weapon to destroy evil. A weapon to protect the weak and defeat the strong.

It was a weapon, to kill dragons.

With a primal war-cry, Takeshi thrusts the blade into the dragon and the magic of the blade screams as it tears straight through the dragon like paper. The drake didn't even have the chance to scream before the blade extinguished its life. The once great beast fell to the ground, defeated. As it came down, Takeshi casually jumps from its head to land on the ground with his blade in one hand, and shield in the other.

He had a second to look like an utter badass with the dead dragon behind him, before he fell flat on his face from the prana drain. The legendary blade in his hands faded before Takeshi even hit the ground.

Troy gave his prone Master a flat look. "That was stupid."

"In my line of work-" Takeshi, propping himself up on his shield, "-You can't always take the time to plan everything, In my lie of work, you act on your gut feeling, and if you don't, innocents can die, your squad can get hurt or killed, and before you know it hell isn't as far away as you thought. It was stupid but it also worked damn well."

"Spoken like a true shit planner." Troy remarked offhandedly, turning his attention to looking around to see if any of the enemy Servants of Ash were within line of sight.

At that point Takeshi was nearly knocked over by Tamamo colliding with him, throwing her arms around the Enforcer demi-Servant. "That was so brave, Master! I knew you could kill that dragon! Although...you really don't have to try so hard to impress me, you know."

"It wasn't all me Caster, Berserker was the one who allowed me to kill it."

<So, turns out the stupid plan actually worked, what do you think about that Aaron?>

"Yes but let's not think too much about that." Tamamo said softly. She then released him, minus a few shattered ribs.

Berserker walked up to Takeshi, slowly clapping his hands "Master, I see now that you're defiantly the kind of master that I can respect. I would have been honored to fight alongside you if you fought against Troy." Berserker glances to Archer "The city." he clarifies.


<Takeshi.... You are a-!>

Aaron.exe has stopped working.

Please try again when mage has finally stopped screaming.

<Err.. Mashu, is Aaron ok?>

"Thank you Berserker, I am honored to fight alongside a warrior of your skill."

Berserker smirks slightly "Say that when I've defeated all the other servants of Ash. I've only beaten an assassin and Lancer so far, we still have a long way to go."

<He's ah....>

Takeshi winces when hearing Aaron's rant. <OK team, we need to take care of the other servants, Archer, do you have any visuals?>

"Not a one." Troy said, scanning the horizon. "Must've thought the drake would kill us. Either that or they're scary good at hiding."

<All right, let's head back to town, make sure things settle down and do recon from there.>

Berserker nods in agreement, and as the one with the highest rank in strength, he picks Takeshi up off the ground into a fireman's carry "As good a warrior you are master, you need some rest."

Without waiting for Troy and Caster's opinion on the matter, the servant of madness starts walking back to town.

Takeshi didn't bother protesting, his limbs decided he need it as well.

Tamamo glared at Achilles such that it was a wonder he didn't burst into flames on the spot, but followed.

Troy was less preoccupied with playing hot potato with Shielder and kept glancing around, not wanting to be caught off-guard by any of the enemy Servants during such a lull in the action.

He didn't find anything, and the walk back was uneventful. Berserker set Tekshi down next to one of the broken buildings and sat down beside him.

"That sword you had master," berserker started "I only ever saw its equal once before. And do you know when that was? Right now. That sword, no hero in Troy held its equal."

"It certainly came through when I needed it, did you recognize anything about the sword? perhaps it could help me find out who's mucking around in my head, well besides Aaron and Mashu."
