Paul looked around the room to see the reaction of other people...

A man in the front row raised his hand "May I speak?"

Without waiting for an answer he walks up to and since he was so big dwarfed the other man

Jeff watched with mild interest.

"What do you want?"

"Let me get this straight. Because the Beta testers didn't help all of us beginners they are somehow responsible for all of the deaths that have happened so far. As such they must apologize and give compensation?"

"Y-Yeah"

The tall man takes a book out of his pouch "This here is a guide book full of info on the game, written by the beta testers. Its free in the store and everyone had access to it, the Beta testers did all they could to help and people still died" With that the two sat down

Marcus tapped Jeff on the shoulder "Did you help write that?"

"No. I did, however, help you guys, Paul and anyone else we ran across." Jeff thought the guidebook idea was a good one however, and wished he'd thought of it. Looks like there weren't quite as many jerkasses stuck in this game as he thought.

"Anyway we best move on" The man says "This guide book has a lot of useful info including some ideas for defeating the first boss, Illfang the Kobold Lord. It says here that Illfang will surround himself in minions and have a shield and sword as his starting weapons. When he gets to his final health bar he will switch to an tolwal and be faster. So, this will be our strategy. Two lead teams will attack Illfang and the rest will keep the sentinels off the main group, any objections?"

Jeff remained silent. The guidebook was all well and good, but he was a Youtuber - he knew exactly how games could change from the beta. All the stuff about beta testers having an advantage was true - all the stuff about them suddenly being Wikipedia Jesus was not. For one thing, wolves were a lot more plentiful compared to pigs in the live server, at least from what he remembered.

When no one responded, the man nods "Then we leave in one hour"

"Seems simple enough." Jeff remarked to the others. He couldn't tell what level everyone was, but with his group in the low to mid-fifties they were probably the highest by ten or so.

nick who was looking through his innovatory ever sense the book was mentioned, and practically laughing ever sense the new guy started politically powning the sonic rip off. "Jeff how much do you think the game has change, and how reliable do you think it still is? If it's over 50%, can i borrow your book?"

"I haven't got a book. I didn't know that was a thing, though it's a really good idea."

Marcus quick buys the free book and then tosses it to Nick

"Oh thanks, aaaaannnnd already I know that the first chapters are useless crap. Alright more importantly Jeff I say that we try not to stand out and NOT be one of the two groups that is in charge of facing the boss head on. (whispering so softly so close to Jeff's ear that his practically licking him)If we must, I say we kill steal."

Jeff shoved Nick's head away. "Personal space. And I agree - if anything's changed we can figured out what's what from a safe distance while chewing up minions."

"Thats sound like fun" Marcus says

"Do I want to know what Nick just whispered to you?" Paul asked. He assumed he didn't want to know.

"You don't want to know"

"mmmmmmm no but I'll tell you latter. Now is there anything we need before we head out?"

"Not that I know of"

"good now that we're good, do we need, never mind, do we want to appease all the other players by having the set amount of people per group because i say that if anyone ask we say we're good."

"Again its fine"

"We've got five - standard is six, if it becomes a sticking point we'll adopt someone."

"Were going to adopt someone?"

"Into the Guild, don't get any delusions of parenthood."

"That's right so, shut up Pumbaa!"
