SAO: Gamebreakers

"Nick, are you sure we don't want Jon as our rogue?"

"Ummm,  Yes because I've seen his creation sheet: staying invisible means nothing if you can't do any damage; but I would say we at least have another person to go with Marcus when he goes out scouting."

"You want to give Jon the ability to turn invisible and teleport?" Marcus says with a raised eyebrow "What in that sentence is a good idea?"

"i see nothing wrong here."

"I just started this job and I don't want you to take it. Besides you can't sneak worth a damn"

"Don't worry marcus he won't be able to teleport or disguise himself because he crossed class. He'll be barely able to keep up with you and quickly report back when you find something." By this time the group has arrives at it's destination to find a long line beginning to encircle the coliseum.
"I have no comment on the matter."

"So much for getting the good seats"

"I blame Nick." jon says walking to the meeting place and finds a seat.

"Good idea" Paul follows John to also find a seat.

"Silance also how can you blame me for this?"

"'Can't sneak worth a damn,' he says. And yet despite all your points in Perception you haven't seen him in a month." Jeff grinned, sitting in the front row.

"Fuck you Jeff" Marcus says sitting behind him

"Yeah, you can do that in this game too, but let's not go there."

"Ok didn't need to know that !" he then gets out of his seat next to Jeff and goes to sit next to his brother which was immediately taken be fore he could get there because people were fooding in. Getting cut off and noticing that there was someone going for the seat he gave up. He jumped back into his seat shooing the guy away.

"Hopefully this gets underway"

"Yeah, I want to know what it's about. Also Nick, with that new gilded armor you look like a redheaded Gilgamesh."

"Gilgamesh wishes he had this armor. I maxed out the AC that i could get, this is thing technically three sets of armor. The only thing that could make it better would be a dark red paint job and a black coat."

"...You still look like Gilgamesh."

"You do" Marcus added

The stadium quieted down as a blue haired player took center stage "First of all I would like to thank everyone for coming"

"You're welcome." Jeff muttered, low enough that presumably Marcus alone could hear him.

Marcus did hear him but he said nothing to indicate

The blue haired man continued "The main purpose of this meeting is for an announcement. That is that the boss room had been found"

This caused a chorus of shouted excitement from the other players in the stadium

Jeff stayed silent. He wanted to know what the boss was - in the beta it had been So-and-so the Kobold King or whatever, and a lot harder than the subsequent bosses. Or maybe he'd just been getting used to the controls. Whatever the case, he and the others were more than capable of taking the thing on, assuming it was the same boss.

"Ten bucks says that it goes down hill from here." nick said quietly so that only jeff and by extension Marcus heard.

"Come on have some hope" Marcus says

"We need to defeat the boss and continue to the floors above, that is the second reason for this meeting to formulate a strategy and tell everyone in the Town of Beginnings that it is possible to beat this game. Everyone here shares this duty, don't you agree?"

This brought on another wave of excited screaming and clapping "Ok lets start the planning. First we all need to divide into parties of Six. An ordinary party has no chance of beating the boss so we need to have multiple parties"

"He hasn't seen us yet has he?" Marcus asks Nick and Jeff

After waiting a bit the man speaks up "Ok everyone has there parties I assume. So-"

"JUST A SECOND!" Someone screams

Everyone looks up to see the source of the voice. It was a shot spiky orange haired 20 something. He goes down to the center of the stadium "Names Kibrou, I want to say something before we take on the boss. Some of you people here need to apologize to the two thousand who have died so far!"

"Are you referring to the beta testers?"

"Of course I am! On the day this game started the beta testers ditched us beginners, and they all disappeared. They took all of the good hunting spots and easy quests for themselves, so only they could get stronger. And then they just ignored the rest of us" He turns to face the crowd "I'm sure someone here was in the beta! They should get on their knees and apologize and give up all the money and items they have hoarded. Other wise we can't trust them to protect us as party members, and they shouldn't trust us!"

Marcus winced looking at Jeff, the only beta tester he knew was there

Jeff made a show of rolling his eyes. This guy was exhibit A of why he generally avoided online multiplayer - that and his hairstyle looked like he was impersonating a medieval weapon.
