Balthasar made an expression that, after a moment, they recognized as amusement. "I believe we will be able to find out what became of Wizard Myroth without resorting to simple questions."

"Of corse, I was there the moment of her creation. I can give details if need be"

Balthasar leaned forward, great paws the size of dinner plates folding over each other on his desk. "Please do."

David was making his way through the countryside, occasionally stopping for the trackers to cast another tracking spell. The guards were not the only ones who were traveling, for there were priests of Ocmentoc who at a snails-pace were going the same direction. When David and his guards stopped to adjust the tracking spell, the priests passed the guards. Then when David and guards were going again they'd pass the priests. This pattern of travel continued for hours on end, leaving David quite furious at the priests.

Aaron gave a detailed retelling of the events leading up to and during Mira's creation(Leaving out all the part where he picked fights)

"Intriguing...It seems Overwizard Griffin's suspicions about Tenebrous were correct. This has all the earmarks of a praecantation summoning." Balthasar paused to scratch at his ear. "This may also explain...Mira, did you call her?" Mira looked over at the mention of her name. "It may explain her odd behavior - what we're witnessing is a slow fusion of Myroth, the woman whose body this used to be, and an unknown entity from Tenebrous. Has she demonstrated any other unusual qualities?"

Barrek deferred to Aaron, since he had been dealing with Mira longer and seemed to grasp the basic ideas of what the ursine Overwizard was after.

"Her hair turns to tentacles if you touch her"

"Tentacles?"

Aaron explained what happened when he first tried to touch her

"Adamant?" Balthasar looked Mira over. "Impressive. Such a large quantity of that material is very rare."

David finally arrived at the city where the main group was "Good grief! Next time I'm hiring better trackers!"

"I just want to now who she is"

David was walking through the streets of the city, occasionally adjusting the tracking device "I'm going to ask the captain if he's seen any of the prisoners."

Smoldar meanwhile was gazing at the fireplace "Pretty!"

"Unfortunately that's quite difficult for us to gather. It is probably safe to say that who she was, any of the three, are no longer applicable. She is in effect an entirely new person. That likely explains why she doesn't speak."

David approaches his counterpart and asks if he has seen the escaped prisoners.

"Well thanks for the info"

The trackers caught up with David "They are somewhere in the direction of the wizards tower. Perhaps inside."

"And that is the story of how I ended up in prison." Octavion finished his story with a chuckle as he downs his drink.

Anastasia laughed as she sipped her drink and then she said, "I used to think that a drunk Spartan was something to avoid. Now I know that sometimes, they are a riot- depending on the person."

Octavion laughs.

"Um, sir," Julios says to David. "Why should we be worrying about these prisoners? According to Arch-Wizard Stamatios, the ruins the prisoners were at must be guarded closely."

"The Truth Temple has taken them over [ruins], just like they've done with this whole country. They will probably be looking for magic and ancient looking scriptures." David replied, walking up to the wizard's tower. He knocked on the door and at the sign of someone opening the door, he asked about the escaped prisoners.

Aaron hears the knocking "Visiters?"

David steps inside, not noticing the prisoners yet "I have a few questions to ask. Anyone care to answer?"

"Oh please pick me"

David turned around and gave his best WTF face, which slowly turned red.

Aaron waved a hand "Hi"

"Hiding here, are we now. Well, no one hides from the long arm of the law!"
