Aaron teleported out of the way of all of the blast aimed at him

Where Aaron had stood momnets before, a nice crater had formed in the floor. David had somehow managed to avoid the worst of the barrage (for the moment) and was grabbing for his sword. One of the trackers (the magic user one) shot a firebolt towards the orb. On contact it didn't do much. The orb then shot a fire ball, much larger at the tracker. The tracker was not very fortunate...

"Well this little thing doesn't mess around" Aaron says with a smile on his face

Too true. The orb shifted its attention on Aaron and a stream of incredibly hot flame shot at him. David had meanwhile found his sword and charged at the thing again to no avail.

Aaron's teleportation spells got him out but not before he could feel the heat of the blast "Hot"

The orb got annoyed at David and flung him at Aaron (keep in mind David has armor on). The tracker used some of his remaining magic to try to destroy the barrier that kept the magic inside the orb itself. At that the orb shot a explosive projectile at the tracker. After the dust cleared there was no more tracker.

Aaron didn't notice david flying at him and got pinned under him as he came "Hay I really don't want to know you any more"

The orb flung David at Aaron. This gave the tracker an oppertunity to poke holes in the metaphysical barrier within the orb which had all the magic stored. The orb (obviously) didn't like that and ended the trackers life with an explosive magical projectile.

Aaron teleported both david and himself away from the blast. When they landed Aaron teleported david a few feet away from him

The orb figured that since it had quite the amount of magical power, it would just shoot at its adversaries. Sooner or later it would get them. It shot another barrage of deadly magical missiles at Aaron.

"Why me?" Aaron asks as he teleports away again. When he landed he started to fell the fatigue of constant teleport

"Can you destroy it?" David asked.

"I don't know. But I know I can give it a hell of a beating, give me an opening"

David charged at the orb again, dodging the projectiles and in vain sliced at it.

Aaron teleported right next to the orb, using his sword he sliced the orb and with the opening he stuck his staff in before it closed "Die" He says as he used he most powerful burst spell. The magic came through the staff and straight into the orb

The orb being destroyed released its magic. With it it pulled all the party members (David, Balthasar, dead tracker, Aaron, Smoldar and whomever else was present) with it. The magic had originally come from a nearby dimension and thus the group found themselves get dragged mercilessly along. Just before leaving the home dimension they could see that some of the magic had blown up the temple.

"What the hell?" Aaron asks to no one but himself

Everyone who'd been dragged along with the magic found the trip agonizing. David was almost throwing up the entire time, but the magic wouldn't let him finish. Around them the surroundings turned pure white and after what seemed to be an unbearably long time of traveling, the group fell hard onto barren ground. David was pretty exhausted from the trip, as were the rest of the group members.

Aaron gets up leaning heavily on his staff "What now?" He asks

The landscape around them was pretty monotone. A flat terrain filled with gray evergreens in every cardinal direction. The ground was gray and barren with the exception of a few pitiful shrubs dotting the landscape. The air was filled with dust which was swirled around by gusts of wind coming from all directions. The only color was from a man sitting opposite the group, wearing a red robe.

Mira had been quite agitated by the trip. She positioned herself quite close to Aaron, with her back to the elf.

David woke up looked around and then concluded he'd been taken to some wasteland by Aaron "What did you do?!?!?!? [looking at Aaron]"

"No, it wasn't his fault" the man in the red robes said "you've just witnessed inter-dimensional travel. You saw that orb that I helped create? Well, I got curious and touched it and likewise came to this place. Don't worry though, we are not meant to be in this dimension and we'll be hurled back in a day or so."

True enough. For the magic users, there seemed to be some link between them and the home dimension growing slightly stronger. David of course didn't like what he heard "You created that $#@!?"

"Yes, unfortunately we didn't realize it drew its magic from here. Hopefully it caused no trouble."

"It shot spell at us killed a few people and sent us here. So you know nothing major" Aaron gets to his feet and helps Mira up as well

"So, who are you?"

"I am Mathew from the mathematicians guild. I was hired to create a mathematical pattern that would help generate power for the Truth Temple. They have grand visions for our land. The reason I'm here is because I was curious and touched the orb in making. When I touched it, I felt its' evil" Mathew looks around the barren landscape "Are any of you magic users?"

Aaron raises his hand and shows his staff
