"I'M NOT PLAYING GAMES HERE!!!!!!" Lieutenant Sparte shouts, standing up and slamming her hand on the table in front of her.

Meanwhile, Captain Scarlett turns to Horatio and asks, "Is this true?"

"No, you're losing your temper. That much is apparent." Teren said, still clearly enjoying herself.

"Maybe you didn't understand me." Lieutenant Sparte says. "I'll speak slow so your small brain can understand me: I'm. Not. Playing. Games. Here."

Teren rolled her eyes. "Heard you the first time."

"Then stop with the smart-ass answers and start talking!" Lieutenant Sparte says.

"I already told you everything I know, how hard is that for you to understand?"

"Well, I don't know how hard it is for you to understand 'which person in the party- by your guess- would be most responsible for the murder of the Kubaz?' you spoiled, ugly brat!" Lieutenant Sparte retorts.

"I already told you I don't know." Teren snarled.

"Something's not adding up," Lieutenant Sparte says, recalling something Teren said earlier. "You said earlier that you did not know the people who supposedly kidnapped you, then you gave me some of their names. This makes me believe that you are lying to me."

"I can know their names and not know them." Teren said, exasperated. "Like how I can know the name of someone I buy food from but not know them as a person. Can you just let me the hell out of these cuffs and stop subjecting me to your utter idiocy?"

"Alright, on to the other investigation," Lieutenant Sparte says. "You wear the uniform of an Imperial. Tell me, do you know any of the terrorists attacking Theed?"

Teren shrugged. "Nothing other than what I've heard since I got here, which isn't much."

"Is that so?" Lieutenant Sparte says.

"Yeah, that's so, b****"

"Can you tell me where you were when the bombs went off?"

"In the apartment." Teren said, growing impatient.

"Doing what, exactly?" Lieutenant Sparte asks.

If she could have, Teren would have facepalmed. "I already told you; I was asleep and then I woke up when everyone was freaking out about the dead body."

Horatio nods in response to Captain Scarlett's question. "To the best of my knowledge, yes. I was asleep at the time, but I was awoken by the disturbance in the force caused by the Kubaz's death. Although, based on the darkness I sensed, Teren may have had her reasons. I urge you not to rush to judgement on that one. She may not be the most pleasant person at all times, but I sense that her soul is troubled, and may yet be saved. Besides which, at the moment she is in the relative custody of not one nor two, but three fully capable Jedi. Do you not agree, Bastilla?"

"I agree." Bastila says, nodding.

A lab tech comes up to Captain Scarlett. "Sir, we have just finished analyzing the liquid in the syringe." the tech says. "It's a deadly poison called Lusare."

"Get Miss Greyflight out of interrogation for the moment. This is starting to look more like self defense than murder." Captain Scarlett says to a nearby guard, who saluted and quickly ran off to relay the message.

The door to the interrogation room opened up and in walked the guard. "Captain Scarlett has just ordered for the interview to be over." he says.

"%$#@ing took him long enough," Teren muttered, standing up.

"We have just discovered that the syringe contains a deadly poison called Lusare." the guard continues. "It looks like this was an act of self defense."

"Great, now how about releasing me from these cuffs?" Teren said, holding said cuffs out to the guard.

"That depends." The guard says. "Are you going to attack us if we take them off of you?"

"Yeah, the skinny girl with no weapon is gonna take down a whole &#$%ing building full of cops who have weapons, to say nothing of three Jedi and that Wookiee who looks like he could break the building in half by exhaling." Teren said caustically.
