Russian troops have now breached the Gustav Line and are rolling across Sweden toward Stockholm. The government of Scandinavia sues for peace with Russia. As a result, Scandinavia is made forcibly a part of the Russian Empire, with barely any self-government at all. The Swedish/Scandinavian king delivers a private letter to Kaiser Friedrich blasting him and his country for failing to come to the aid of their northern neighbour before being placed under house arrest by Russian troops.

France tells Germany in diplomatic terms to take a walk. Basically they're more afraid of Germany than of Russia and like the Tsar's idea of smashing the country into tiny squabbling buffer states again.

Britain and America receive a large influx of Scandinavian refugees desperately trying to flee the country before Russia closes the border to further emigration. A large Russian Army force is now stationed in Jutland, just on the other side of the border with Germany.

The Italian Imperator announces Imperial Italian Army intervention in the Austrian conflict for the purpose of keeping the Hapsburgs in power. Shortly thereafter the Italians move into rebel-controlled Austrian territory, by all accounts just looking to do some good in a Europe that could use a little more of that.

In China, the Qing dynasty is overthrown by a radical group angered at foreign influence and Japanese occupation in Manchukuo. Much of the country not under direct foreign control dissolves into chaos as rival groups battle for dominance.

The Germans Start moving more forces to the border, which is still filled with old land mines, and unexploded shells from the last battle there. As of this moment the De-millitarized zone isn't being respected by the Russians. The Germans Call for Aid from the Americas and from the British.

To the Scandinavians. Kaiser Fredrick has been dead for a year or two… his son is currently in power. The germans reassure the Scandinavians that everything shall be quite all right, and start sending out covert messages to the occupied countries' resistance groups. The message when translated with the right cypher reads. "War is coming, be ready."

The Germans launch their newest airplanes and begin to patrol the borers of their airspace. Key military bases are at an all time Security high, and the german military is the strongest it has ever been in history.

The German's plan of Allowing for Russia to Hyperextend itself in a very short time, is coming to a full circle.

The Russians point out they technically haven't violated the DMZ, beings as it's entirely on German soil and at any rate has nothing to do with Jutland (which is part of Denmark). Much of the Germans' undercover messages get through, however, in Hungary a Russian agent-in-place turns over a copy of the message to the Tsar's government.

The Russian ambassador to France notifies the French of this. The French ambassador to Germany is abruptly recalled. The Russians have maintained a paranoid border force in what could be Poland because of Germany, and they have an almost entirely open expanse of German territory to get at across the German-Danish border, where German defenses are relatively thin (unless you were paranoid enough to expect an attack by Scandinavia). Russia makes no further moves at this time but they make it clear that they have as yet done nothing to Germany directly but won't hesitate to do so.

(How did you get the cypher? The Cypher is in three parts, and the message is in one… without the three parts to the cypher, it is next to impossible to translate. Not to mention the message wasn't written in German, it was written in a coded message.)

The Germans pay no attention to the French ambassador leaving. They however do not recall their own ambassador from France. The German Ambassador attempts to make headway into negotiations with the French.

Meanwhile, German Scientists continue research into their weapons. (Aero, Tank, Guns, Body armor, Artillery)

The Germans make little to no Progress with the majority of their research at this time. They, however, have made incredible strides with their Newest Artillery. Its range is incredible, and its accuracy is spot on. The Germans Keep this weapon under Very High security, and are continuing to hunt down french spies with a passion. (hunting those french spies roll)

The Germans make headway into finding the spies, but haven't found one yet. They however know the locations of a few of the French Spies safe houses and hope to move in to capture one.

In the mean time, German Special forces start training select individuals including, Lennon. (Dun dun duuuun)

Obermoser rallies southern Austria to fight against the invader (Italy). He manages to get a lot of people through his rallies, but most are not trained for combat.

[The Hungarian had the cipher originally, he just passed a copy of the message's text to his Russian contact. Also, it's Lenin, not Lennon, who is in Petrograd right now anyway, not Germany. And the French don't have a huge amount of spies in Germany; the so-called safe houses would be in France or the French embassy in Berlin (which is being vacated anyhow).]

The Italian forces engage the Socialist Austrians in battle. In almost all cases, the Italians come off the winners by virtue of greater firepower, superior weapons and better tactics. Much of the territory bordering Italy is currently occupied by the troops. One isolated Italian unit is butchered by a huge Austrian mob after being separated from the others and in response several small towns are leveled by artillery and airship fire.

The French post more divisions of troops on their border with Germany. The Russians in Denmark are having their supplies topped off via cargo ships from Sweden, Poland and the Baltics in preparation for likely conflict with Germany.

Obermoser urges the rebels to use gorilla warfare, rather that facing the Italian/ Austrian Armies head on.

The Italians occupy Albania and ask Greece to commence talks about joint-defense plans against the Russians.

Several Bulgarian Army formations are drilling extensively on the northern Greek border.

France deploys a variant of the FT17, this one with a more powerful antitank gun mounted on its chassis but sans turret. It is deployed in limited numbers along the German border with the rest of the army.

One of the French aeroplane squadrons loses track of exactly where it is, flies over the border into Germany quite by accident and encounters a German patrol. Shots are exchanged (the French fired first, as it happens) and losses are taken by both groups. The French patrol fares worse due to less advanced planes and only three aircraft survive the engagement, one of which loses power and goes down on German soil after they flee from the remaining Germans. All of the downed Frenchmen are captured by German ground forces.

The 3rd French Republic publicizes (their version of) the incident and demands publicly that the Kaiser's government make amends for the lost airmen and planes and punish their pilots for "intruding" on "French" soil.

A British force crushes the last and largest of the Indian resistance armies near the Afghan border. Organized resistance to their control of the country is largely ended. Meanwhile, they extend the area in China that they control from Hong Kong (Japan, interestingly, is doing the same thing out of Manchuria) claiming to be trying to bring stability to the chaotic nation. They have a larger degree of success than Japan owing to their strategy of financing local rulers over direct rule and annexation.

The Hapsburg emperor burned a four rebels at the stake in a town in central Austria, to impress the Austrian public. Unfortunately the demonstration does not have the desired effect. The next day four soldiers of the Austrian army found themselves tied to a stake...

Obermoser sends Jetna Jehona(apparently the name means echo), of Albanian descent, to Italian controlled Albania to spread the idea of communism.

Greece agrees to the joint-defense plan and have sent a message to the Bulgarian government. The message was, to shorten the long and eloquent speech by King Ambrosius, basically this: "Get your troops off our border. If just ONE crosses it into Greece, we Greeks will take that as a declaration of war and WILL attack. This is your only warning."

Greece's Council of War begins mobilizing it's army in preparation for a potential war.

I hereby claim Brazil, and begin movements to create a pseudo-socialist democracy!

The Bulgarians stage an incident and declare war on Greece while their army is still (comparatively) unprepared. Turkey, in a surprise move, lands amphibious troops on Crete and declares they have seized it.

Initial fighting goes averagely on both sides, although a Bulgarian unit crushes a Greek one in the initial attack. Soon the Greeks are able to stabilize the lines, however, with ferocious defense and excellent tactics. Italy begins shipments of war materiel to Greece.

France sets a deadline of one day on Germany's repayments for the downed aviators.

Great Britain steps up airplane patrols in the North Sea and delivers a note to the Russian government requesting the cessation of the Tsar's aggressive stance toward Germany.

The Germans Refuse to pay for the outrageous claims of the Germans invading the French Airspace. The Germans Clearly state the French Trespassed and have Photographical Proof of the French over the German Territory. The Germans also present a written Confession from one of the French pilots. As a counter offer, the Germans State that the French must call back their Forces on the border or they will not release the French Pilots.

"Alors, c'est la guerre."

The French, in what appears to be a fit of anti-German hysteria, declare that a state of war exists between the French Republic and the German Empire. Hordes of FT17s accompanied by their aeroplanes and infantry enter Germany and fighting erupts.

The primed European powder keg now explodes. Russia is next to declare war and the Russians in Denmark plunge across the border. Encountering heroic resistance from the German inhabitants, they nonetheless overwhelm the defenders as they push towards Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. The eastern front does nothing, the Russians sitting in their trenches and awaiting a German attack.

The Italian Imperium weighs in on the side of the Germans, although nothing really happens as a result (except reciprocating declarations of war from France and Russia).

Great Britain announces its entry into the war both by declaration and by lending Germany some of the finest squadrons in the RAF. British planes severely damage the Russian thrust towards Hamburg by repeated strafing and bombing, slowing the advance to a crawl. Britain begins shipping arms to the Scandinavian rebels and preparing for a landing there to sever the Russian logistics arm.

The Germans across the border Push back the Advancing forces.

The Artillery forces the French back to their border by creating a virtual wall of Death.

The Invading Russians are met with German Resistance from the Millitary and the Populace. The Germans also send out the messages to all the rebels in the Russian terratory that now is the time to strike.

The Better Airplanes of the Germans strategically fly over and drop bombs ontop of Russian and French Fortifications along the German Border.

The Germans Use their amazing road network to reinforce the borders faster than any nation has in previous combat. This creates a seemingly massive force of Germans that is gaining 5 for every 1 lost. The Germans push back along the Denmark Border and attempt to restore the Danes back into power.

The Germans thank the British for the support and call on America to join in.

The Germans along the Russian Border form a massive wall waiting for the Russians to attempt to cross it. The mines from the previous war still line a good portion the wall, and several thousand more are placed along the border.

German Scientists begin research into better artillery shells and explosives to try to gain an upper hand.

The Germans Have moderate progress with better artillery shells. This leads them to discovering that they can make a better AA gun.

The Germans also discover a new type of incendiary explosive. They begin work on making this new explosive in order to turn the tide of the war.

Brazil joins forces with Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru to form the Commonwealth of Socialist States in South America (CSSSA). We send a few troops to help the Americans and in return they teach us how to make planes.

Colombia, Venezuela and Peru all refuse Brazil's offer to form a commonwealth, stating that they see no reason for it. Also, left-wing extremists trained by Austrian Communists rise up against the government with quite a following, bearing a flag with a cat on it as their national symbol.
