A World of Dust and Souls

"No no, it did....uh, I think." Sienna was mildly confused, taking a second to try and process that again before she responded. "I guess everyone's afraid of that, to some extent? You probably have it better off than most though. You can chuck swords the size of buildings at people, and you're only a first-year. After that you'd have to try pretty hard not to do well."

"That's reassuring, thank you Sienna."

"No problem." Sienna said, smiling as she leaned back against the headboard of her bed. She waited for a moment, not wanting to jump subjects too quickly, before speaking again. "Honestly...at this point I'm kinda wondering exactly how strong are we?"

"B-because whenever I dream..well..this" She she raised her arms up and gestures to the field, "This isn't it."

"I've been wondering that as well. I was always told that I wielded amazing power, but I always thought it was just talking about my family. I wish there was a way we could test it to see how far it can go."

Sienna shrugged. "Well, we probably can...we just need a place where we can cut loose with it and see what all we can do. And hope it doesn't break a hole in a building or something. I'm pretty sure some of the teachers would kill us if we did that, gods or not."

"Yeah, could you not kill us all?"

From one of the few unmoving beds, Tyson stirred, the bomb maker glancing up with a look that was halfway between terrified and joking to try and remove the tension.

"We still have to go to school you know."

Nisha

"You have limited dreams," the woman said, "Have you ever wondered what others dream? Their dreams could be like this, you simply lack the imagination to see it as your own."

"Sorry Tyson - didn't mean to wake you up," Sienna said as she looked over to his bed. "Killing everyone isn't exactly the plan so we should be fine, right?"

Tyson shrugs, "Statistically speaking, world ending threats are either mountain-sized Grimm, supremely confident entities, or military leaders with superweapons."

He looks around for show.

"Considering you are not mountain-sized, plus your previous comments have thrown out confidence, top it off with the fact that I don't see any superweapons present, I'd say you're fine."

"Those are all fair points. We should get back to bed."

"I truely wish my dream wasn't limited. I truly wish I can dream something else than the dream I've been having since I can remember. This new dream...I'll admit is both refreshing and somewhat overwhelming...Can I wake up now?" Nisha pleaded to the one before her

"... the phrase you're looking for," The woman said, "Is changed."

She raises her fingers, and snaps and Nisha jerks awake.

"Oh crap!" Tyson yells falling off his bed.

"...Or not." Sienna remarked, leaning over a bit to make sure Tyson was alright.

Nisha sat up awake. Her eyes wide and racing like her mind. She was trying to process what was making her heart race. Was it...a dream? Then she sees Tyson off the side of the bed and registered that he yelled and woke her up. She frowns annoyed, grabbing her pillow and chucking it at Tyson, "You scared me!"

"I mean....I don't think he did that on purpose, Nisha..." Sienna said, trying her best to hide her smile and failing.

"Wellp I guess we're all awake now, Did you have a weird dream too Nisha?" Sterling asks, putting on a pot of coffee.

"You better not be putting any of your weird spices in the coffee, Sterling..."

"don't worry its untampered with." Sterling says,, pulling his hand away from the jar of spices on the counter.

Considering that there was coffee being made now, Sienna figured she might as well give up any pretense of trying to get back to sleep. She stretched briefly before going to get cups for everyone

Nisha groans as her drowsiness resumes. She held her hands toward tyson direction, "My pillow."

suddenly, a sword pierces through the pillow, and impales it on the wall a foot above Nisha's head.

She stares at her now pierced pillow, slowly turned her head towards Sterling with a pissed look, "Was that necessary? Is that your way of getting back at me for not joining your harem?" She tugged at the pillow to try and get it free.

the sword disappears, the pillow falling onto her head. "You're really focused on that, almost too much..."

Nisha pulled on both her cheeks and stick her tongue out at sterling making a loud BLEEEEEH sound. Then she hugged her pillow and lay back in bed.

"Don't get too comfortable Nisha. I have a bet with Tyson on what happens when we give you something with caffeine in it."
