Fate/alter chasm (Mk.II)

"While that is true we should not underestimate them." Takeshi's face went solem for a moment. "That can get a lot of people killed."

"Alright, let's head out as well." He waited for saber to walk out of the room with him and they too go down the elevator.

Saber seemed to be rather on edge, clearly annoyed they couldn't just have killed Caster immediately, but sticking to Joseph's command.

Caster glanced at Takeshi briefly. There was probably a story behind that...but he'd agreed not to pry into her life so she felt obligated to do the same. "That would be bad," she agreed.

"Mm, no need to worry about that now, we should focus on the task at hand." Takeshi regains his usual expression.

*The elevator reached the ground floor and first thing Joseph did was look ahead of him of the glass front door, hoping Ikari wasnt still in front of the hotel.

"You got it!" Caster chirped.

He wasn't. It seemed he and Caster had already left the area in front of the building.

"Can you still sense them, Saber?"

"No, they left my range a while ago."

"Good." He looked outside the hotel to see that Ikari was no where in sight. Though he doesn't know where he was heading, he walked off to the direction where he seen him gone.

That direction, as it happened, was almost directly south from the hotel. Skyscrapers and office towers gave way to smaller buildings, and eventually to houses. Ikari still didn't stop, heading for a community of large houses built in a Western style, more reminiscent of European villas than anything Japanese.

"I'll give the Tohsakas this, they have great taste in architecture. " takeshi comments, looking at the manor.

"It's not that impressive..." Caster was rather less of a fan. To her it looked too Western and far too much space for one person to live in.

Back where Joseph was stalking "Ikari," he suddenly felt Saber's prana consumption surge briefly. Beside him, she spun to the side, her armor and sword materializing in flashes of light. "Master, we have company!" she informed him, her helmet rendering her voice metallic and echoing.

She was facing a teenager with blue eyes and curly blue hair, wearing fine clothes and a rather smug expression as he stopped his approach. "Hey there. You lost or something?" he called to Joseph, ignoring Saber.

Seeing Saber get into her armor and such meant there was no going back. He stopped and turned slowly to look at the teenager before him. His body tenses a bit, ready to draw his book, he gave a smile. "No, just thought tonight was a beautiful night to go sightseeing."

He smirked even more if such a thing were possible and was in the process of opening his mouth to reply when he was cut off by his Servant materializing - specifically, materializing and then picking him up by the back of his shirt collar and planting him in front of herself - and Saber.

Berserker - Shinji Matou:

"Kill him." the new Servant ordered. Her Master spun to face her, eyes wide with shock.

Saber, in spite of her earlier eagerness for battle, did not, as she was understandably confused. "What are you doing?"

The moment the servant materialized, he brought out his leather bound book and opened to a random page when this "Interesting" event happened. He slowly closes the book confused, "Uh..pardon?"

"You hard of hearing? Kill. Him."

The teen seemed to get over his shock enough to express his outrage to the apparently traitorous Berserker. "What the hell are you doing?! You're supposed to follow my orders, you worthless Servant!"

Saber glanced back at Joseph. "I say we do it...though I would rather fight Berserker." Who would die after losing her Master, certainly.

He knew by asking this question it will give him no answer but he rather prolong the inevitable, "May I ask why exactly you want your master dead?"

"No you may not now stay out of this!" The enemy Master screamed in a rather shrill voice.

Berserker ignored him. "Because he isn't worthy to be the Master to any Heroic Spirit. I want to be rid of him. Is that not answer enough?"

"Right..." He sighs stepping back a bit. <Saber ready your weapon, but attack the berserker>

"Caster, would you kindly assume spirit form while I get the information I need?" TAkeshi walks up to the door of the mansion.

He felt Saber's satisfaction through their link as she hefted her own greatsword in one hand. Berserker's zweihander was resting back on her shoulder as she glared at her increasingly furious Master.

"If you say so...> Caster's voice faded to telepathy as she followed his command, vanishing from his side.

Takeshi knocks on the main door, hoping that the head of the manor was in or this would have been a waste of time.

<Attack!> He sidestepped out of the way then he opened a tome with the word 'Combust' and applied the concept on quarter in his pocket.

One second Saber was there, the next she simply was not, having pushed off from the concrete hard enough she tore it out of the street. Berserker's eyes went wide behind her visor and she quickly blocked the strike that would have split her skull open like an egg, the impact powerful enough Joseph felt it even from fifty feet away and more than one window shattered nearby.

The enemy Master squeaked a curse word in a voice that was physically impossible to hear if you were over forty as Saber swept past slightly less subtly than your average jet plane, half diving half falling to the ground and scrambling for cover with an expression of abject terror on his face.

Takeshi heard something in the distance. Perhaps more importantly, however, he also heard movement from within the house. After a moment, a light flicked on behind the door, followed by it sliding open. Rin Tohsaka, last scion of her family, looked at Takeshi with an unreadable expression on her face. "Can I help you?" she asked politely.

Joseph nearly staggered and fall on his butt from the sheer force of Saber colliding her blade against the rival servant known as the Berserker. He quickly regain his footing and runs to flank the berserker, taking a wide right. <Saber, step back> He commanded as he flings the quarter at the berserker.
