Fate/Fallen Order

Caster's ears drooped, and she looked away again. "I...ah..."

"Go on." Takeshi says, gesturing her to continue.

Caster was silent a while longer. "Well...you know my true name now, right, Master?" she eventually asked, fearfully.

"Sure do."

When Takeshi failed to say anything else, Caster continued. "So you know my legend...and what I did...r-right?"

"Of course, you are one of the aspects of Amaterasu."

Confusion, then hope dawned on Caster's face. "You mean...you don't mind? You're not bothered by it at all?"

"I was at first, but only slightly. Concidering that it is literal ancient history, and given both of our current situations, it shouldn't matter."

Takeshi barely finished speaking when he was nearly knocked over by Caster throwing her arms around him and hugging him viciously tight - it was a damn good thing he was a demi-Servant or she may very well have crumpled his ribcage like a tin can. "I knew it, Master! We really were made for each other!"

"I'm... glad you're happy too caster, now can you please release my spine from being crushed?"

Caster complied...eventually.

Takeshi regains his composure, "Now, shal we summon another servant?" Takeshi asks, brushing off his coat and adjusting his hat.

Caster looked a little apprehensive but nodded. "Sure, Master."

Takeshi performs the next summoning ritual.

The next Servant registered with Takeshi's Mastervision™ as Archer. He was...a bit confusing to look at, honestly. The Servant of the Bow was supposed to have a bow, right?

Archer had a frame that looked like it was meant to have a bit more muscle mass on it than it did, giving him a lanky look. He wore a green tunic with a golden sigil emblazoned across the chest, with a black cape hanging down his back matching the colors of the armor that covered his right arm - his left only had a bracer about the forearm.

All well and good - until you took into account that the rest of his attire didn't match. He was wearing jeans, honest-to-God blue jeans, and had a bandolier strung across his chest, presumably full of ammunition for the pistol hanging from a belt holster. Evidently not satisfied that he had defied the Archer class container enough, the newest Servant was also holding a large spear - black with a golden blade that looked for all the world like someone had just made a sword and lengthened the handle to the point where it was essentially a polearm.

He glanced around the room, one eyebrow raised. "Well......this is a new one on me."

"Greetings servant archer, my name is Takeshi Zarado, welcome to the facility."

"Thanks, I suppose. You can call me Troy Forthill." Archer wasn't looking at Takeshi while he spoke - instead he was looking over his outfit and weaponry, almost as though taking inventory. He regarded the spear in particular with a furrowed brow. "Someone want to explain to me how in the hell I'm a Heroic Spirit and why I've got a big pointy stick?"

"Well I'm not too sure how this whole heroic spirit deal works, but I do know that you are the archer class, so why the hell do you have a spear?"

"Hell if I know. I've never seen this spear before."

"Well, you may not be a full fledged servant, you are probably a demi-servant like I am." Takeshi says, gesturing to his shield and armor.

Archer was silent for a moment, thinking. "You know, that would make a lot of sense. So the spear's one that belongs to a Heroic Spirit, then."

"That is correct, give the man a prize."

"Already got one." Archer indicated the spear. "I don't suppose you have any idea who this belongs to, then?"

"Sadly no, I'm still trying to figure out who this belongs to." He says, picking up the shield.

"...Well that's fun." Archer sighed, irritated. "And I guess you must be Caster, then?"

"That's right!" Caster chirped. This was already going so much better than the last two - Troy hadn't tried to kill Takeshi or hit on her! Maybe this wasn't such a bad idea.
