Ellis, for once having a somewhat good idea, had started digging through the wrecked vehicle looking for a defib.

[According to Alex (the resident military expert) all United States military Hummers (which is the vehicle in question) contain an AED. Assuming it's not smashed to bits, that is.]

Phoebe runs up to the other survivors and asks, "Hey guys, do you know where we're going?"

"Well, our plan was to drive to Disney World, as we were going to get picked up there by helicopter. As you can see, we hit a bit of a snag."
Bill carefully stands up, cracks his back, and walks over to help Ellis.

Francis turns and heads back to the wreckage, trying to think of how to replace the lost Hummer. As he nears the wreckage, he wonders if his attempts to save the HMG were all for not.

As he shuffles through the wreckage, he finds the mount for the HMG. Digging further, he finds the part of the stock for the HMG. Buried under another pile of rubble, he finds the rest of the MG. Quickly mounting it on the tripod, he sets up to defend the wreckage from infected.

Suddenly, a giant slab of concrete misses Francis by mere inches, but decimates his MG, leaving a pile of scrap in its wake. In the distance the group can see the tank, much further along than the rest of the horde. Based on the distance, you guess you have about three minutes before the Tank is upon the group.

[you were just waiting for that moment weren't you?]

"FEKK!" Screams Francis, furious at the tank. He grabs what ammo he can for his auto and climbs into a nearby tree, using his pistol to pick off any other infected and shooting the Tank in the head, although at long range, he doesn't land very many heavy damage shots. As the tank nears and Francis's aim improves, (assuming the tank isn't just standing around getting shot) he lands more and more headshots. As the tank nears the tree, Francis stops firing with his pistol and waits for the tank to get within shotgun range. When the tank finally does get within range, he quickly unloads his entire magazine into the tank's head.

Unfortunately, Francis only gets a few up close shots before the Tank rips the tree he is standing in out of the ground and throws it, along with Francis, back into the wreckage.

"Well, shit."

Bill digs through his pocket and manages to find a bile, tossing it into the Tank's face, temporarily blinding it. The Tank thrashes around, smacking bits of wreckage around. In the chaos, the group sees the AED go flying over the Tank's head, behind it.

Ellis saw it. "Hey, that's a defibrillator thing!" He immediately proceeded to try and Leeroy Jenkins it, scrambling over the wreckage to get at the AED.

Francis provides effective covering fire for Ellis, increasing his odds of getting to the AED successfully.

Phoebe quickly pulls out her pistols and begins shooting into the horde.

Ellis gets smacked by a stray hit from the Tank and is sent sliding across the road. He is, however, on the other side of Tank and can reach the AED now. The Tank however, seems to be recovering form the bile and is fixing slightly cloudy eyes on the new arrival, Phoebe.

Meanwhile, Francis, while helping Ellis, spots a Hunter attempting to drag the unknown driver's body away.

Francis shoots the tongue, then the smoker. He then moves the body closer towards the group. He empties his current magazine into the Tank after he saves the unknown's body. Francis is down to 2 magazines of auto ammo.

(Hunter....Not Smoker Would you kindly slow down and read?)

I blow off the HUNTER's head. The rest of the post still stands.

Louis provides support for everything.

Ellis grabbed the AED and went well around the Tank, not wanting to get smacked again. "Hey y'all, I got the defibrillator!" he said, grinning like he'd just won the Super Bowl.

The Tank charges up to Phoebe and grabs here in his giant fist, squeezing her. You can hear the beginning of what sounds like her bones starting to break.

"This sick son of bitch just sealed all of his death warrant!"

Bill runs up to the Tank and uses his axe to pry apart the fingers of the Tank, preventing it from crushing Phoebe further, but unable to free her completely.

"I need some help here!"

Louis shoot the tank in the head to distract it.

Phoebe remembers she has some molotovs in her pocket that she was reserving for such an occasion. She quickly pulls it out, lights it, and throws it into the Tank's mouth. Right before it went off, she shoots the Tank in the hand and jumps out of his grasp.

(Uh oh.)

Ellis proceeded to use the defibrillator on the dead driver.

With a look of anger on its face that you would not think physically possible, the Tank leaps at Phoebe, fire pouring from its mouth, and with a powerful strike, slams her into the road, causing bits of it to flying into the air. Holding her down with one hand, the Tank brings its other fist up with the look of using it to crush her upper body.

The burst of fire, knocks Bill back, as does the strike from the Tank. He tries to stand, but his recent injury makes it too hard to stand.
