Left 4 Dead 3

(Okay, I missed the acid completely. I'm cool with that. Shouldn't have jumped off the truck until right before it crashed, according to my wording, but oh well. Should I roll for damage or not? Everyone elses' decision.)

(Assuming I live, which is clearly not my decision.)

After jumping and realizing that the truck was still going, Louis ran after it, so he was in the middle of the road when the Smoker struck him from behind.

"AHHHHHHH! HELP ME!" Louis screams in the general direction of the crash, before he regains his wits and turns around to shoot the Smoker, then attempts to saw its tongue off.

(I already said you don't have to roll.)

"I ain't gonna let these goddamn vampires beat me."
Francis carefully picks the glass out of his leg. Although he can't get all of it, he gets most of it. Looking towards the wreckage, he spies his beloved Autoshotgun. It remarkably came through with little damage, although Francis is unable to find much more ammo or the valued HMG.

(Okay, my thanks. I wasn't sure.)

Louis hears something about vampires echoing in the distance, and, despite being fiercely engaged with the smoker, he yell over his shoulder, "They're not vampires, man, they zombies!"

He thinks a moment, and then follows it up with "Someday, Imma teach yo ass how to distinguish between various occult creatures, and between "Twilight" and "Zach and Miri" while I'm at it."

Francis ignores this [he didn't scream Trey] and helps to pull Bill from under the wreckage. Behind him, he sees what looks to be a part of a MG tripod.

Ellis also helps extricate Bill. "Hey, did any of the first aid survive the crash?" he wondered, looking to see if it was true.

"Well, there's something under here, not sure what."

Bill struggles for a bit, then flops back down.

"Looks like we need to lift this off, or at least prop it up until I can get out."

Phoebe walks in the scene, looking for supplies. She has two pistols in her hands.

She looks up at the car crash and gasps. "Oh, my God!" she says as she runs up to it and looks in to find anyone she can cure.

(Phoebe is my OC. She was a medic student prior to the Infection.)

Phoebe helps to treat Bill's wounds. She also pulls the driver from the wreckage, before apparently recognizing him and leaving him on the ground.

Ellis said to Phoebe "Hey, help us get the truck off him, will ya?" while attempting to do just that.

Francis walks over to the body. "wonder who the poor SOB was." he looks for an ID, but finds none on the body. Francis then goes over and lifts part of wreckage off of Bill. Not very high, but high enough to get him out

Bill manages to pull himself out, before stumbling to his feet.
"Gah, I'm too old for this. Thanks Francis."
He turns to Phoebe and ask, "You wouldn't happen to have a defib on you would you?"

[Brandon is doing stuff with the scouts this weekend and might possibly not be on.]

"you were too old a hundred years ago Bill. And where is mr. happy-up-my-ass?

Louis, hearing the commontion in the distance and realizing that his compatriots survived yells, "HEEEEELLLPP!!!!!" Before turning back to the smoker, who is actually starting to be moderately damaged by Louis' efforts. Louis is absolutely going to be black and blue in he survives this.

(To be fair, he didn't so much get himself killed so much as try and fail to deal with a truck sans tires and part of the wheels.)

"Ah shit, we forgot about Louis!"
Bill runs off in the direction of the yells, but stumbles to one knee.
"Ah, goddamnit!"

[it was a joke. Try to not over think it]

Francis trots towards Louis's screams. Thinking Louis would need more help then Bill, he runs past him in his sprint to get to Louis. When he gets close enough, he pulls out his pistol and fires an entire magazine into the Smoker.

"Hey Louis, you look like shit!"

"Goddamn! When did I become white, join a gang, and a start wearing vests and liking lasagna?" Louis jokes weekly, ripping the tongue off of himself. "Seriously though, Francis, I've never been happier to see you in my life; thanks for the help, I'd be in a lot worse shape if it weren't for you. Can I borrow your catchphrase for a minute, and just say..." he turns to the Smoker, which is still writhing on the ground, and says, "I HATE SMOKERS!" and then he shoot the Smoker one last time in the head for good measure, and it falls still.

Francis grins at this. "let's get back with the others. Someone joined us their".
