"According to the map, we should be getting into Belleview soon".
Bill scans the map, searching for anything important.
"Perhaps we can find a safe house with supplies when we get there..."

"Yeah, I probably need somethin' for this leg." Ellis said. He was still limping rather badly, and consequently he was at the rear of the group.

"Oh for the love of..."
Bill walks over to a tree, cuts off a couple limbs with his axe, then cuts and carves them into makeshift crutches before passing them to Ellis.
"Try these".

Ellis didn't look too happy. "How'm I supposed to use those and still shoot?"

"Well, you can either use these and not put as much stress on that leg, or you can keep walking and possibly make it worse. Unless you have a better idea which, considering we aren't seeing very much infected right now, I don't see."

Ellis thought that over. He then accepted the crutches, though he still had his gun on him in the extremely likely event that he needed it.

Louis proceeds with the rest of the group, covering everyone, and generally helping to kill random common infected.

Suddenly, Bill halts the group and tells them to shush. After everyone gets quiet, you all hear a crying sound coming towards you. Unfortunately, your flashlights are the only light your group has, save for some dim moonlight.

"Everyone else turn off your lights. If she has to get one of us, she can at least go for the one with the least impeding injuries."

Ellis' was already off. He looked about for the Witch. "I thought they only walked around during the day!" he whispered to the group.

Francis shuts his light off, and begins to move forward off the trail in an attempt to get close enough to kill her with a shotgun blast. Thinking better of it, he halts a few feet from the trail, still in sight of the group, but hidden from the witch.

"Francis, go for it; you can shoot her, and if you don't quite kill her, we can take care of the rest." Louis urges, "Heck, if you shoot her, Bill hits her with the flashlight, and we all fire once you step back a little, she won't know what hit her."

Louis raises his pistol a little to show his readiness for action.

"Shut up Louis. Why don't you try it if it's so easy". Francis says a little annoyed.

[can witches climb?]

Louis turns to Francis. "I thought you hated waiting? Here, let me borrow your shotgun, and if I die, I die, and if I kick ass, I tell your ass 'I told ya so' later."

"Hold on a second Louis."
Bill turns to Francis.
"Do you still have that rope you used to save Ellis?"

"lemme check", Francis checks, "yeah I still got it. What r u thinking?"

Nick quietly crept to a wall, silently peeking to see if the witch was still there. And she was, still crying softly in the corner, her hair covering her face, making it hard to see her expression.

"I can throw a pipe bomb in there. Any body got one?"

"Well, I was thinking that I could use it to trip her as she ran at whoever shot her. Then, while she was getting up, which I'm sure would be difficult with those claws, we could quickly kill with for less pain for us."

Francis locates an alternate trail. "or, we could go around her and not waste any ammo" he says motioning to the trail he found,

"We could do that, except..." Bill points to the rising sun, "I would prefer that we don't find ourselves dealing with a Wandering Witch. On top of that, your trail leads far off the main road and I'm sure none of us want to go through any more infected than necessary, which happens every goddamn time we went off the main path and from what I've heard, Ellis' group have had a similar experience before we got split up."

Before Bill can finish answering, Francis is on the other side of the Witch, cheerfully waving at the group, pointing to the trail he made from the other one he found. Francis kneels on the ground, watching for any infected while waiting for the rest of the group.

"So I'm guessing we're going with my plan then?" asks Nick, who now just got a hold of a pipe bomb, with a clear position of chucking it at the witch.

Francis motions for the group to hurry up.

Nick stays behind, shotgun and bomb ready. He seriously is suicidal.
