Magic and War RP

"Well, since I know next to nothing about magic and the like, I'm curious about what kind of sports will be played at this tournament. "

"Well, Quidditch, obviously. Probably dueling as well."

A senor student over heard them "The tournament is mostly dueling. There is also stuff like potion brewing and of course Quidditch"

"We're just there to watch, right?"

The upper class-men snorts "You might be"


In the main group of students Headmaster Mycoy steps out into view. He raises his wand and staff in the air mutters a spell that could only be heard by the people nearest him. For a second nothing happened, then lightning striked across the sky. The sky flashed so many times it was hard to keep your eyes open for a second. When everyone could see into the sky what they saw was something out of the ordinary even for wizards

A Train. A full sized train came rolling out of the clouds. I blew its horn and came down. It parked itself on the edge of the school grounds "ALL ABOARD" A voice says from inside the train

Eugene's suspension of disbelief was quickly evaporated at the sight of the train. "How the actual bouncing hell did that train get up there?"

The upper-classmen turned to him "Its magic"

Lil, who had dealt with Gene far longer, didn't even bother explaining, just gave him a bit of an exasperated look.

"How many times does a train appear out of thin air here?" Gene asks, bewildered.

"First time actually" He says boarding

"Don't question it, just come on."

They board the train and once everyone's on it takes off. This wasn't the graceful takeoff of a plane, no. This takeoff made zombie driving a helicopter in a zombie out brake movie look good. AKA Huston we have liftoff

A loud speaker buzzed to life "Sorry for the take off folks we are having a few problems with our pilot. We don't have one" The voice says sounding a disturbingly a lot like Skipper from the Madigascar movie series "When you are doing magical flying we know you have no choice in the matter. But still we thank you for flying with us"

Vern sat down in one of the compartments, opting for a window seat.

"Well? Where should we sit?" Lil queried Gene.

The only open spots were a single cubicle

"Excuse me," a thin Russian lad says as he looks around. "Is there room for one more student?"

"Looks like we can fit you in with us in that section."

The three of them manage to get into the section with relative ease since it was made to seat four

After a moment of awkward silence on the part of Gene and the Russian, Lil decided that, as usual, the burden of making conversation fell to her. "So, what's your name?" she asked the Russian, also checking his robe trim to see what House he was in.

She couldn't find a house name at first but their weren't very many russian school of wizardry in Russia so the list was very narrow

As the Train traveled they could see the country side of the midwestern states (SO not much of anything)

The train nearly hit a plane but dove out of the way causing the passengers to experience Zero Gravity

"I would love to see how air traffic controllers explain this one." Gene says, looking out the window at the leaving plane.

Lil was slightly more concerned with hanging onto the seat for dear life, her hair floating about her head in the lack of gravity.

The speakers crackled to life "Ok people don't panic we are just falling at terminal vilocity in a giant metal machine with the atlantic under us. I know what your thinking we should just pull up, but we can't no one knows how to fly this thing did I forget to mention we never got a replacement pilot. SO I HOPE YOU PEOPLE CAN BREATH UNDERWATER"

Screams from all of the students could be heard all around the group. The train was just about to hit the water and then nothing. With the screaming finally stopped everyone could look out and see that the train was just a few inches from the water. The strangest thing was that it was just floating there.

Gene's eyes begin doing an impression of dinner plates as the train falls to the waves below, when the train suddenly stops he is flung forward to the front of the car due to physics.

Lil stood up on what was once the forward wall of the cabin, her hair thoroughly mussed and hanging over her face like a curtain. "Well. This is...fun."
