McCoy turned around to see the horrified looks of his students. He bows his head in shame "I am so sorry students. I hope that wil-"

"You've done very good work headmaster" says a voice

Lil figured that was Shade again. Her wand was in her hand instantly and she whirled to point it in the direction of the voice.

Gene does the same, lightning in his eyes

Of course it was Shade. He was there standing in the ashes of the former troops "I expected no less from the Blackstaff of the magic council"

McCoy flinched as if struck "How do you know?"

That sounded familiar. Lil didn't fire off every hex she knew...yet. Something was up here, something she wasn't sure she should interrupt. So she stood still, casting a sidelong questioning look at McCoy.

Shade smiles "Oh, I am a trickster and tricksters can get them selves into many places. Wait, yes mister president I will launch the attack force on Chicago"

All of the color drained from McCoys face "Everyone down the tunnels NOW!"

Gene zips down the tunnel on his broomstick .

McCoy starts rushing kids into the tunnel.

Shade starts laughing "YES YES RUN BLACKSTAFF. RUN FROM THE FIRE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

"What the hell is he talking about?"

"Who cares?!"

McCoy finished getting people into the tunnel then he spoke a spell to silent for anyone to hear and the door to the tunnel began to close

Shade walked into the view of the closing tunnel "I will see you soon Blackstaff. Oh and Muggleborn boy, since you didn't like the last show, I promise you the next fireworks will be spectacular"

Then the door closed

Gene makes a small gulping sound. "I think we're going to have even more company."

"Relax, it's not like anything's gonna hurt us with Professor McCoy here. Or the other teachers...right?"

"Depends, can the teachers stop a larger strike team, from multiple angles, probabbly with explosives, oh and another magic blast?"

McCoy had no comment on the matter "We need to continue down the path it will lead us out of the city"

"Then let's go!" Fenris said in an irritated voice.

Lil dismounted the broom - no sense flying along in a tunnel, she'd be bound to hit something or other.

After a short walk they find another door leading out of the tunnel

Gene dismounts as well." So what's the plan?"

Lil looked at McCoy, waiting for a response.

"Well?" Fenris asked. He had his wand at the ready.

McCoy sighed and opened the door. On the other end of the door a familiar face appeared before the group. Professor Freeman

Lil looked expectantly at McCoy. "Is...he a spy or something?"

"McCoy let out a short laugh "Freeman a spy? He is one of two men in this world that I trust completely and if you've been on the council as long as I have you don't give trust very easily"

"Well, given how insane the world has been so far today..." Lil mumbled.
