The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim

Valtyr try's to block the captians sword while throwing another bolt of lighting at her "If you liked the first one you'll love this"

The bolt scorches the previous sliced shoulder, causing her to grunt in pain. She swings out a foot to trip Valtyr...

...cracking him in the ankle and sending him to the floor. Gripping her blade in both hands, shaking, she prepares to stab Valtyr...

Hadvar walks down the hallway. Hearing the two bolts, he hurries his pace. He stops at a gate, seeing the battle unfold behind it.

"Gods, just what we need," he mutters, reaching from the chain to let them in.

Vaninir holds his sword at the ready.

Ilyssa rolled her eyes. "Fantastic." she remarked, voice dripping with sarcasm.

Valtyr trys to cut the captains legs out from under her while she stands there.

The blade sinks into the captain's leg, staggering her. She yanks the leg away, stumbling. She lets out a pained growl, then looks up, hearing the door open.

Hadvar pulls the chain, entering the room.

"Captain, what's going on?" he asks, "We need to get out of here!"

He then sees her looking past him. Glancing behind himself, he realizes she has seen Breton.

"Captain, please," he urges, "don't."

The captain ignores him. Half running and half stumbling,  she jumps over Valtyr, shoves Hadvar aside, and charges at Ilyssa, screaming something incomprehensible.

Valtyr trys to save the girl by casting a another bolt at the captian.

The bolt hits the Captain in the back, causing to her to stop, preventing herself from falling over. She then continues at Ilysa, barely running at this point. She starts swinging her blade as she gets closer, a deranged look in her eye.

Hadvar pulls himself up, trying to get over to the captain.

"What in Oblivion?!" Ilyssa pulled the short sword from sheath and tried to keep the Captain at bay by way of swinging it around frantically while backpedaling.

"Hey! Over here!" Rees yells as he whips the Capitans scorched shoulder hard to get her attention off the Breton. "You forgot about me!"

Valtyr jumped up seeing that the captian Had was very wounded and the other could take care of her he jumped back out of the fighting area and started cast fire balls at the other men.

Vaninir finds combat with another soldier, he swings his sword aiming for the soldier's right shoulder.

Vaninir's blade is deflected by the soldier, who tries to stab him in the stomach, but misses.

Valtyr's fireballs explode next to one of the soldiers, lighting her armor, which the soldier quickly sheds. She then pulls the bow off her back, aiming at Valtyr.

Meanwhile, the captain, cussing loudly in pain, clumsily runs at Rees, blade aimed for his throat.

Ilyssa, deciding that if she was going to be involved she might as well be involved when the captain was ignoring her, swung the short sword two-handed at the captain's head as hard as she could, which admittedly wasn't terribly hard but even so.

Valtyr rolls to try and doge the arrow and jumps up and throws another fire ball at the soldier.

Ilyssa's sword makes a sickening crack, burying itself in the Captain's skull. As life leaves the captain's body, she pitches forward, pulling Ilyssa with her.

Meanwhile, Valtyr manages to kill the soldier, but not before having an arrow perforate his shoulder.

The remaining soldiers run off further into the keep, followed by Ralof.

Hadvar stops where he is, taking in the bloody mess of a room. He sighs, rubbing his face and leaning against a wall.

Yanked off-balance, Ilyssa slammed face-first into the back of the Captain's armor with a yelp of surprise and pain. Letting the sword stay inside the Captain's skull, she scrambled back to her feet, hands clasped to her face. She backed up against the wall, rubbing at her bleeding nose.

Bzothan, meanwhile, sheathed his sword and walked to the Captain, looking for keys. Spurred on by this action, Ilyssa went to pick up the fallen soldier's bow and arrows. Better to stay outside of melee range. In fact, she then decided she ought to go through both of the dead bodies. Maybe they had a few septims on them when they were killed.

After searching, she straightened up and turned to Hadvar. "Does the Legion always hire madwomen to serve as officers?" she asked.

Valtyr grit his teeth in pain as he started using healing magic on his wound.

Rees-Haat pulled out the short sword before cleaning it and handing it back to the Breton.

"A clean kill, she didn't suffer for long." Rees says as he looks around for a couple daggers.

Ilyssa waved a hand dismissively at the proffered sword. "Keep it, I don't want it."

"Can I have the sheath then?" Rees asks as he fails to find anything usefull.

"Oh, sorry." Ilyssa detached the sheath from her belt and handed it over.

Valtyr try to keep healing his wound as well as getting up to defend himself.

Rees takes the sheath and attaches it to his belt before putting away the short sword away.

"Anybody need help healing any battle wounds?" Rees asked as he takes off his pack of herbs ready to heal the wounded.
