Imperialism

The U.S. misunderstood, it is not the U.S. trying to assimilate Africa, but rather Brazil; the U.S. might want to read Imperial Missives a little more carefully before issuing responses.

Overthrowing cruel dictatorships with military force and securing ports with friendly troops is most certainly welcoming Africa into the Brazilian Empire.

Brazil is always happy to help its American Allies, and the Brazilian Snipers are proven good at taking out high level assets; they will standby until needed. The Brazilian Infantry sent to aid is not chopped liver either, and they will also standby.

Ireland is Pleased how its new weapon fared… It will make a stance to the nations of the world in Thirty Minutes about the decimation of the Pakistani Forces.

The Irish president Appears on all Public Devices. "Greetings, I have come today, to let you know about this new Epidemic which has been Sweeping the world. I have also come to let you know as I speak, Al Queda's Headquarters around the world, are being destroyed by the Irish Super Destroyer known as, The Prometheus."

He pauses and Turns around to a screen behind him. A giant Starship appears on the Screen."The Prometheus is a Destroyer the likes of which has never been Seen by anyone. The Weapon which Vaporized the Pakistani Forces who were in coalition with the Terrorist organization Al Queda, Were the first to feel this Weapon."

He turns back to the Camera. "Ireland Will cripple the world's Power supplies and Weapon Depots If you do not begin global Cooperation. Ireland is tired of your petty bickering."

The US forces in the area are saved by advanced body armor that was under development since 2008, however there is US casualties. America is seething at Ireland for firing a weapon of such magnitude into a conflict in which they weren't involved in.

Brazil believes the Irish weapon is probably too sci-fi for Jeffrey, but is fine with cooperating with world peace. They just ask the Irish to be a little more careful when using it around the troops of Brazil's U.S. ally. If Ireland and the U.S. come to blows, Brazil declares neutrality. Brazil suggests that the Irish and the Americans might work out their differences at a Whiskey summit, at the White House.

*Suddenly, In a cloud of smoke*

Ireland Begins to rise off of Planet Earth, the Dome Surrounding it reveals that Ireland Was turning its nation into a Giant SPACESHIP. The Spaceship leaves Earth with such force, and Luckily sea levels drop allowing for more construction.

Then, Unexpectadly, Nothing else happens!

US spy satellites track Ireland carefully and, undetected, they begin beaming back information about the sphere.

The Sphere begins to move far away from earth, Toward the asteroid belt where the Irish Asteroid colonies have been springing up in Rapid numbers. Ireland's Starship the Prometheus Moves to provide escort to the Sphere.

[Ian, what the hell do you think I'mma say about your new spaceship? You can keep the Prometheus (though it's one helluva big target, especially if you put it in atmosphere)]

The USSR, rather alarmed by the Irish weapon, puts their fleet near the British Isles on extremely high alert. Several ICBMs are retargeted on Ireland.

The US spy sats, still undetected, begin an analysis of both Irish space things. Japan is warned of the approaching country. Several of the large objects that were orbiting earth begin to trail the sats at a range to great to be detected by the Irish.

The US requests a meeting with the Russian government to discuss a plan of global defense in the event of Irish attacks from space.

The Russian ambassador's plan is simple; use anti-satellite missiles to blow the hell out of the Prometheus if it becomes necessary.

[It isn't a Spaceship per say! it is a Country Space station.]

The US agrees and suggests a joint research project to find a more efficient anti-space defense system, such as the development of high-powered lasers.

Brazil notes that according to the Irish, the Prometheus moves much faster than an ICBM

[The answer's still no, Ian. And if it does, then it'll paste the crew all over the inside. And it obviously has to stop in order to fire, vulnerable when firing much?]

The Soviet Union refuses to be intimidated by Ireland; China, Germany, Cuba and Korea share these intentions. China angrily points out to Ireland that they will not tolerate an attempt to dictate to them.

Ireland Does mention that there are Anti-missile Defense systems on the Prometheus. And it is Currently Escorting the Space Station Ireland.

[No space-Ireland, dammit. Also antiballistics aren't perfect.]

The ICC at large mobilizes for war with Ireland, as the Irish message was for all intents and purposes a declaration of war. They also prepare their substantial anti-air defenses for defense against the Prometheus.

Ireland begins to sigh. Every post about the dome is Deemed none-existent. Ireland points out all it wanted was for everyone to work together, not to get into another war which would destroy the planet.

The US offers a military alliance to the USSR.

The USSR accepts. Their fleet in the British Isles is prepared for immediate strikes at Irish targets.

Ireland smiles. "See we got you to work together! Our Point is Proven! Now we have no need to go to war!"
