Pokémon Lavender

"Dang it! Forgot that Psychic types can see aura too." Riley says as he mutters a few curses that don't register as insults to Serena and November. "Alright, time to show off." Riley says as he makes himself visible before noticing the connection between trainer and Pokemon. "Why don't you show off your power and give us a little demonstration of that Mega Stone. It could give you an edge against us." Riley says as he flashes his aura in code to Shadow-Fur who drops Rob and turns to the group with him.

"We got trouble, Serena and November are face to face with a guard. We need to get ready for a fight now!" Shadow-Fur says as he scanned the area and unfortunately scanning where Riley was and signaling to the Metagross that there are more intruders.

"Don't mind if I do." The PI guard held up the arm with the bracelet and lightly touched the Mega Stone. It glowed intensely, a stream of energy pouring out into the Metagross, which shone with a brilliant sheen of energy and began to change form, growing larger as it did so...

"what is it doing?" Jack asks, fixed to the changing stone.

"Never mind that, we have to get out of here!" says Rob. snapping jack out of it.

"Oh dang, the aura coming off that thing just skyrocketed. Serena, forget what I said earlier, test that Stone on Ursaring. It may save your life."

"You need to get out of here now! The less people to worry about the better." Shadow-Fur says as he runs out towards Serena's position while keeping as silent and unnoticeable as you could when a psychic type is overpowered.

"Right, let's try that, then." Serena released Ursaring, who was evidently unfazed by the Mega Metagross since it just roared in the larger Pokémon's face as it materialized. The Trainer hesitated for a moment before, imitating the PI Guard's motion from a moment ago, she touched the Mega Stone on her bracelet lightly. Ursaring absorbed the energy and grew in stature, changing shape as the Metagross had before it.

Reveling in its new power, Ursaring roared again, this time the sound loud enough to cause some of the lights in front of it to dim briefly. Serena stared in awe at her Pokémon. "Arceus above..." she murmured.

"Whoa that is both wicked and slightly disturbing." Riley says as he closes one eye as his aura body turned translucent. "Don't worry, I'm fine just fight until I can get there." Riley says as his body change would have creeped the guard out. "Just have to focus with two bodies."

Desmond heard the roaring and promptly headed for the other room; common sense dictated that he go the other way but he badly wanted to see what was going on.

"Metagross! Use Psychic again!" the guard ordered as a wave of energy swept across the room at Ursaring. The bear-like Pokémon barely seemed to notice, shrugging off the attack as it barreled towards the colossal metal spider. Metagross hunkered down, preparing to receive the attack...until Ursaring disappeared right in front of it. Puzzled, the spidery Pokémon lifted itself back up, gazing around the room in search of its opponent.

With another rumbling growl, Ursaring charged out of seemingly nowhere and slammed into Metagross' side with the force of a bullet train, launching the Steel-type clear across the room with what was obviously a Feint Attack. The Steel-type, stunned, scrabbled back to its feet as Shadow-Fur arrived.

Riley's real body grabbed Desmond and took the lead to the room where the two mega Pokemon were fighting.

"Trust me, it would be better if I was in front." He says as he walked. He stopped behind the guard and Riley's aura body charged at the guard. "Stop him stop him before he escapes!" Riley orders in an authoritative voice as the aura Spector closed in on the guard.

The guard responded by sending out a Gardevoir, whose eyes glowed blue as Riley's Aura specter was thrown back by a barrier of telekinetic powers.

"Not bad but try it this." Riley's aura phantom said before it disappeared while returning to his body.

"Crud, he got me!" Riley yelped in his authoritative voice and started to act like he took over someone else's body.

"Now you have to ask yourself, are you willing to attack your own teammate just to catch a few trespassers?" Riley asks as he turns to the psychic type. "I have roots in him he will seem nonexistent but he is in there just stand down."

The guard looked nonplussed, as did his Gardevoir. "The hell are you talking about, kid?"

"I agree, what the heck are you talking about?" Rob asks, looking at shadow-fur.

"Oh well, so much for that act." Riley says as he grabs two things from Rob, a black ring that formed from around his left wrist, and a single Mega Stone. "I'm going to only say this once. Tell me what you did with the Lucarios and Riolu's from the mountains or else." Riley says as his aura changes from a pure white to a blood red. "And don't lie to me, it would be hazardous to your health." Riley says as his aura formed a razor sharp ring close to the guard's throat.

"Serena, stop Riley! He's out of control, He will kill the guard the first lie Riley hears!" Shadow-Fur yelled towards Serena and gave the guard aura sight to be able to see the ring.

"Riley! Stop it!" Serena screamed, grabbing his arm and pulling him around to face her. "We're not here to kill anyone, get control of yourself!"

The guard looked down at the ring and sighed. It evaporated as Gardevoir's eyes flashed blue. "Such a minor inconvenience..." He pointed at the Trainers. "Metagross! Destroy them now; use Earthquake!" Metagross raised its forelimbs and slammed them to the floor hard with a deafening BOOM! that shook the walls of the entire facility.

Desmond looked petrified. "Oh dear...not good!"

Riley cursed again which made Shadow-Fur blush as the red ring was turned into a hovering platform and Riley jumped onto the platform as he carried Serena onto the platform. Shadow-Fur did the same and the Earthquake was just shaking the room around.

"You alright?" Riley asked Serena while the room shook.

"I'm fine." Serena said, trying to stay in the middle of the platform.

"Yeah, nobody mind me!" Desmond grumbled, holding tight to the wall as the earth shook. "Anyway we need to get the heck out of here, now!"

"And how do we do that with the guard here?" asks Jack, jumping onto the platform along with Rob.

"We run!" Desmond took a couple of steps to try and follow through with that and promptly tripped. "Man down..."

Serena, meanwhile, suddenly looked absolutely terrified. "T-that Mega Metagross just used Earthquake." Seeing the others' nonplussed looks, she continued. "We're on that huge fault line! T-that...we...we didn't stop it! It's happening right now!"

"I repeat Dez's sentiments, not good." Jack says.

"Riley, Shadow fur, do you guys have anything in your arsenal able to get us out of this?

"Don't you think they need a really strong explosion to start off an Earthquake?"

"Yeah, run. Fast." Shadow-Fur says as he starts for the exit. Riley rode the platform while holding Serena on the platform trying to get past the guard.

"Let's get out of here!" Riley yells as he rides past.

November and Leo follow along behind the Lucario.

Jack and Rob follow November.

Serena clung to Riley's side to steady herself as the Aura platform zoomed through the tunnels ahead of the rest of the group.

Desmond, stumbling along with the others, had an idea. "Beedrill! Yanmega! Ninjask! GO!" The three Bug-types hovered in midair before Desmond gestured...they took hold of him (and at his insistence November and Rob) and flitted into the air, greatly boosting the speed.

After a few minutes of this (and some trips back and forth up the elevator shaft using Pokémon to replace the now-derelict elevator, Jack and Leo stumbled out of the tower-like building just as a colossal groan of tearing and twisting metal sounded as the building collapsed into the ocean.

Speaking of the ocean, a large part of Vermilion City had been swept into the ocean, presumably by a tsunami generated by the mega-Earthquake and the resulting natural cataclysm. What hadn't been torn from its foundations and dragged out into the bay was shattered glass and crooked steel, even those few buildings still standing. Fires blazed within the city and the Aura Sight view was even grimmer. The city was almost entirely dark, with barely any points of light to indicate living humans or Pokémon. All this was set against a backdrop of low rumbling, presumably the quake continuing along the faultlines.

Not much time would be given to look over the wreckage; the sandbar/island the building had sat on suddenly disintegrated, the sand sinking beneath the tides with the Trainers still on it.

Jack fumbles around, trying to grab onto anything he can while Rob watches from the air.
