Riley and Riolu walk to the front of the ship and appeared to be setting up hammocks and a plastic shell over them.
"Well Riley and I already scanned the ship with aura, you guys have fun." Riolu says as he continues working on the hammocks while Riley works on their plastic bubble.

"Well, there's not much to see...It's essentially just this deck and a smaller one below." May said. "Why does your Pokémon keep attacking you?"

The sun begins to set, rays of golden and rose-colored light shining off the surface of the water as the coast of Hoenn slid by off to the east. Anyone with any knowledge of geography could tell that they were heading south.

"I guess it's the way I communicate with our ghost friend Kris, apparently Kirlia forgot to give me the memo." Jack says

"Didn't Mr. Jolt tell you guys a a story about what he did before becoming an electric type teacher?" Riley says seemingly off topic before he spoke again. "He had his Luxio hit him with electricity to try solve a mystery while working for the international police. He can understand electric types that speak with electricity, and they had a Pokemon that was a victim."

(Did Alexandrite happen in the past? It would make spence how PI came into power.)

[No, Alexandrite didn't happen. Although Team Rocket has been disbanded some time ago, and Pitchblende was around for at least a century, being run by the Berlitz family out of Sinnoh.]

"Though it lead them to where the suspect was hiding, but not what he did, so the perp walked without any charges." Riolu says as it turns to Riley. "And his Luxio translated from regular Pokemon to electricity so Jolt could understand. It helps but they needed a better translator." Riolu says as it tests a small hammock. "Great, now we can sleep if it takes all night to get to where we are going."

"All night?" May asked incredulously. "We're heading to Kanto. We'll be lucky if we're in flipping Slateport City by morning."

Kris wonders why May seems so on edge.

[Not so much on edge as she's incredulous that they think they could make Kanto overnight. She's grown up all her life knowing boating stuff, so it hasn't occurred to her that someone might not know that. Plus she's somewhat abrasive by nature.]

Riley turned to May and smiled.
"Just planing ahead just in case there is any changes to your route to Kanto." Riley says trying to calm her down as he shot an aura glare at Riolu who visibly shuddered.

May shook her head disdainfully.

[Welp, if nobody minds we may as well assume we all go to sleep and wake up, since otherwise we'll be RPing sitting on a boat for roughly eight hours with nothing happening aside from Riley, Serena and Jack potentially getting into fights and getting chucked off the boat.]

[Right, so if I get approval from Sagan to skip (since Luft won't post 'til three or so) I shall do so and assume we've mostly been asleep.]

Right as Riley was sitting down on his hammock, Riolu untied the knot nearest him which made the hammock fall out from under Riley and resulting in him falling flat on his back. Riolu burst out laughing before Riley started laughing as well.
"Good one but I had a little trick planed for you too." Riley said before snapping his fingers and Riolu's hammock fell out from under it and the little Pokemon hit the deck with a thump. They burst out laughing again as they work on their own hammocks and test them before getting in them and going to sleep.

The next day they had now steamed past Slateport City and were heading away from Hoenn, out into the open sea. Pretty much nothing happened for the most part, and after a little while of boating they saw another coastline ahead. May identified it as the Johto region, which was connected directly to Kanto, and noted that they might as well stop in Cianwood City for a meal. "We'll be there in about fifteen minutes, so get ready."

Riley looked ahead of them and saw (place what Mycro said what Riley saw here) as he gathered up the shell and Riolu tore down the hammocks.
"Well hope they have good food." Riolu says as he turned to May. "Have you been here before?"

"Yeah. They have really nice beaches, as a matter of fact. Except not for boats...rocks all over the place. Look." Up ahead was a wide expanse of pristine sand, perhaps the most inviting beach any of them had ever seen. Included in this view were a number of jutting, angled rocks sticking out of the water in places in addition to on the beach.

"If we had time, this would be a nice place to stop by" November thought out loud.

"We are stopping to get a bite to eat aren't we? Or that's what I thought we were doing." Riley says as Riolu looked up in curiosity as for their current plan.

"I don't think so. It would be hard to navigate around these rocks" November replied.

"Just anchor where there are no rocks, and walk to shore." Riley says jumping down onto the water surface, there were obvious dents in the water where his feet were.

"Riley, they don't have aura control that high level. They can't walk on aura platforms, I don't think." Riolu said explaining the dents in the water as 'aura platforms'.

Or, i could have empolion make an ice bridge for us." Rob says lightly tossing the ball containing empolion and catching it again.

"Or we could head for, you know, the dock over there." May rolled her eyes, then jerked suddenly. "It's the Magikarp! The yellow one! Hold the boat in place while I catch it!" she said, grabbing November by the arm and shoving her towards the wheel before diving over the side after the Magikarp.

"But...but...but I don't know how to steer" November protested.
