"Wasn't planning on leaving, but wanted to get the big one out of the way."

Curt slung hir rifle behind his back and grabbed the two men with him and ran away from the massing hord but he stopped turned around while in a smooth motion pust his rifle into a firing position as he looked at the zombie through the scope of the gun. (Rolling the ten dice since the gun is silenced. Below 5 miss, above 6 hit on target.)

Curt growls after seeing his shot miss but he didn't want to waste time trying another so he put it back over his shoulder before taking both men again and go back to plan B: Run as fast and as far as possible.

The large zombie slipped away behind another building as the horde pursued the Survivors...

"Perhaps that wasn't my best plan." Derek says as the 3 survivors run

Curt glares at Derek and it looked like he was trying to say "You Think!" but doubts Derek could see with that bile in his eyes.

Derek wipes a sleeve over his eyes getting rid of the bile and allowing sight back. "We need to find a car."

The horde is beginning to catch up now...

Curt spots a van about ten yards from their current position. he didn't want to risk the other survivers so he broke off and ran straight for the van. He used the butt of his rifle to bust out the driverside window which sounded an anti-theft device. Curtreached inside and put the van in neutral and pushed the vehicle toward the incoming horde hopping that they get fooled by all the noise or get ran over by the rolling van.

Curt finds he's unable to shift the van into neutral...there don't seem to be any keys. [Other than that it was a good plan, except...] The noise is attracting even more zombies to boot.

Suddenly, over the wailing of the van's car alarm an unearthly shriek split the air and a hoodie-wearing zombie sailed off of a building and collided with Curt. Hard. The impact laid the Survivor out flat on his back, whereupon the zombie started tearing at his exposed chest.

[By the way, you guys aren't completely familiar with the properties of the Special Infected. I'd hazard a guess that Sheo's character is probably the most knowledgeable even accounting for separation of player and character knowledge, but the SI are only just beginning to appear and only a few of them, for starters. Eventually new ones not found in the games will appear and you'll get to name them for yourselves, but as for right now we only have stock ones.]

Derek runs over and rips the zombie from Curt's chest, whereupon he stabs it in the head a couple of times with a pocket knife that he had been conealing.

The zombie is pulled away from Curt with an angry snarl, then grunts as the knife hits its head. It sounds almost like it just said "burgers." [#sheo] Then, it bared its teeth and slammed Derek an open-handed blow in the face, knocking him to the ground and opening several cuts with its claws. While it's standing, Derek gets a good look under its hood; its eyes are bloody pits, apparently having been clawed out.

"Not a good look for you bro." Derek says as he, still gripping the knife, throws it fast aiming at the zombies eye sockets.

The knife barely misses, opening a wide gash to the side of the zombie's left eye. It drops to all fours, growls, then shrieks again as it leaps at Derek, the impact sending them both skidding into the street with the zombie clawing and mauling Derek as they go.

Derek tries his best to fight off the attacker. "Gregori, need some help over here."

Curt fighting off passing out due to blood loss, re-aims the gun at the zombie. It is impresive that he can even hold the rifle steady enough for him to shoot. He fires hoping he doesn't hit Derek.

(Rolling, Under 3: Derek is wounded, 4 and 5: Misses both, 6 or higher is a dead zombie and a fwe more in the generaldirection. Using the 10 cube.)

The bullet goes through the Zombie's head without trouble and takes out another in the same direction. Curtis smiles as he throws his rifle to Gregori before falling on his back fighting to stay awake.

[Oh, quit whining, you aren't hurt that bad. Just some scratches.]

Derek gets up "Thanks."

While the Survivors are stopped, dealing with the pouncing zombie, the horde rushes up and mobs them.

Curt is able to hot wire the van he tried to send at the zombies but when he looks at the other survivers his look said "Thanks, it was fun." before Curt tried to fish tail the van into the incoming hord and buy the others some time.

Grigori comes running out from a store, watching Curt crash into the horde.

"No!"

He rushes toward the horde, holding...
