The Crossroads

Batman asks Gordon to evacuate the most dangerous criminals in Arkham (which happens to be in the west side of town) to the nearest prison. Also Batman and his fellow members help move other prisoners to the police station.

The group, after landing, finds a crowd of curious Gothamites gathered around staring at the heroes. More, however, are exclaiming about the recent news that the Watchtower has hit Washington, though the President appears to have escaped unharmed. S.H.I.E.L.D. director Norman Osborn has taken control of the immediate situation.

Some where in gotham
beastboy and cyborg are trying to find Jeff's pizza (said to be the greatest pizza on the planet)
Beastboy "Cy your GPS in the T-car sucks we've be driving in circles. WHERE'S THE PIZZA!"
Cyborg "Beasty this car is an extension of my self. And i can hack everything on this planet. In an emergency this car could tell me everything."
Beastboy "Except where the pizza is".
Cyborg "SHUT UP!"

And at that the T-car begins bouncing up and down with puffs of smoke coming out.
(like in the cartoon)

Meanwhile, ominously, no word has been given on the whereabouts of the remaining members of the Avengers, the FF, the Thunderbolts or any of the Justice League (obviously excepting the ones controlled by players). Care to investigate?

With the T-Car, the car suddenly takes a huge impact from the side, knocking it into a spin and severely denting the metal.

Suddenly, a news broadcast comes from Washington, reporting several villains having entered the city and smashed their way through the security and military personnel there to kidnap the President in the confusion.

Cyborg "Owe, wait owe! Hey beast that hurt!
Beast "that wasn't me?"

Cyborg steps out of the car closes the door and sees the dent and yells "MY CAR!"
Beast "DUDE, stop caring about the care about the thing that dented it".

Cyborg slowly turns around his eyes light turn red and says "MURDER.E.X FULLY ONLINE".

Cyborg and Beast Boy found themselves facing two unfamiliar figures: one a rather stocky man wearing a pair of goggles and holding himself off the ground on two of the four metal tentacles attached to his back, the other a young woman with a pink stripe in her white hair and a metallic carapace attached to her costume.

"Oops. Hope you have good insurance." The man grinned, placing a tentacle on the damaged T-car and crushing the cabin.

Robin & Nightwing arrive were patrolling the area where Cyborg and Beast Boy were driving/confronted. From the back of the two supervillains, Robin (aiming at the tentacle guy [roll 1]) and Nightwing (at the woman [roll 2]) with explosive baterangs, decide to help out.

Both Baterangs hit their targets, blowing up, such that the villains received a few injuries to remember. Nightwing and Robin get ready to fight...

The tentacled man was knocked briefly off-balance, but was quickly able to recover. The woman was less lucky, as the explosion hurled her forward and off her feet.

Recovering, the tentacled man scowled at the new arrivals. "So, you think you fools can defeat Otto Octavius? Well, it's your funerals!" He swung a metal limb at Nightwing (Roll to dodge)

(OK, dodge roll comming up...)

The Tentacle scraped Nightwing, not causing serious dameage. Nightwing decided to fling himself at Tentacle Man's head (or whatever he is called), throwing a barrage of punches at his head.

Robin takes the shock of the woman, to hurl himself at her in an attempt to drive her to the ground.

Doctor Octopus intercepted Nightwing's leap with another mechanical claw and threw him at Beast Boy and Cyborg.

Meanwhile, Songbird, seeing Robin attacking, took a deep breath and screamed at him, creating a barrage of sonic energy that forced the Boy Wonder backward and bowled him over.

Iron man, hearing the shriek, powers up his jet boots. "What the heck was that?"

Nightwing lands on his feet "You should try to use skill rather than brute force" Nightwing threw another boomerang at Tentacle Man. (roll 1)

Robin used part of Songbirds force to get behind the woman, to allow her to absorb the brunt of the force (2nd roll).

The Boomerang goes sailing over Tentacle Man, hitting nothing of note "Perhaps brute force does work" said Nightwing before throwing himself at Tentacle Man.

Robin was able to get partial cover behind the woman, in the process, continuing to throw punches at her, in order to knock her out.

"Perhaps indeed, but I assure you I can apply far more of it than you ever could, you measly little weakling!" Doc Ock snatched Nightwing out of the air by the leg and slammed him into the ground, grinning.

Songbird turned and prepared to launch another sonic blast at Robin before the Boy Wonder punched her in the gut, knocking the wind out of her and stopping the attack before it started. Wheezing slightly, she backed off hastily, trying to get her breath back so she could get some distance and beat Robin into the ground.

Nightwing now injured distanced himself from his strenghthly superior opponent, waiting for the right time to throw stuff (baterangs, etc.) at him.

Robin stomed on Songbird, so she couldn't recover and launch more sonic attacks at her.

Batman meanwhile hears about the fight and sends over Batwoman and Batgirl to help deal with the trouble.

Octavius presently slammed Robin a sideways blow with one of his arms, giving Songbird time to recover and take to the air on a set of glowing pink wings. Two of his arms picked up the T-Car and raised it high, preparing to bring it smashing down on the dazed Boy Wonder...

Batwoman saves Robin by quickly running under the impact zone.

Batgirl continues where Robin left off: Further beating Songbird to a pulp.

Nightwing uses the confusion to go after tentacles eyes, in an effort to blind him (should I roll for that?)

[Yeah, that's a roll. Also, you realize Batwoman would effectively be committing suicide by just standing there and trying to catch the VEHICLE that Doc Ock is slamming down? Wouldn't she pull Robin out of the way? And also, Songbird is in the air now.]

Iron man, now fully invested on whatever the heck is going on over there, hovers in the air ready to fly in that direction. "Let's move."
