Morty continues,

"It's true that's what they allowed you to see. My guess is that after being defeated so many times, they figured attention they attracted, the better."

Dawn frowned, not having thought of that. "But if they have control of other regions..." She didn't finish the sentence.

Blaine, finished with the desk, walks over.

"From what we have heard from the gym leaders in the other regions, Team Rocket has very limited control, Unova in particular. Which isn't surprising, given the distance. The initial loss of Johto caused the other regions to become alert to the threat, and as a result, Team Rocket has had a hard time gaining any influence."

"What are we going to do?" Luna says she stands behind the counter writing down some inventory details.

"We have to stop them!" Dawn said.

"If we are to stop them. How should we go about it. Mass assault on their HQ foolishly. Or should we take back one town at a time?" Luna Proposes. She pets Pichu and feeds it an apple.

Venus grins, somewhere between predatorily and sweetly, and says "I prefer the suicidal assault on their HQ, but until we find out where that is, let's make sure we hurt these people. One by one." Her grin slowly grows into a dark smile, and Pawniard mimicks the smile, chuckling at the thought of hurting those that had hurt him. "Pawn." He agrees succinctly and with finality.

The rest of Venus' pokémon are just happy that she's happy, and they play around near her, while she turns back to the Gym leaders.

Aaron glares at Venus, with eyes of absolute disgust.

"How can you say that? Team Rocket might be a terrible group, but to hunt them down, and steal their Pokemon, which while they don't belong to them certainly don't belong to you, just makes you sink to their level."

Clay puts his hand on Aaron's shoulder, surprising him.

"You are absolutely right, but don't forget that Team Rocket also captures mass amounts of wild Pokemon. I think we should find out for sure if those belong to someone."

Venus returns the glare unwaveringly. "I'm saying that these bastards not only steal pokémon, they treat them like tools, with no care for them whatsoever. I say take the pokémon back from them, and return them to their trainers if possible, and if not then at least don't let the pokémon suffer at their hands anymore."

"I want to free these pokémon from torture, even if means violence, because Team Rocket deserves the pain, but not the pokémon. If I have to fight fire with fire to end pokémon suffering, I'll do it, gladly."

(Turns to Luna)
Shouldn't this center have a way to find out who owns a particular Pokemon?

"Oh yeah!" She runs and gets a small device called a PokeFinder. "This should do! This is a Pokéfinder. I can scan the pokemon so we can return them to their owners." She scans the Pawniard. "If its owner is dead... it will flash red. If the owner is alive. It will flash blue and show us how to find the owner. From then we can send it via the Computer system. The owner will recieve the pokemon the next time they enter a Pokecenter."

Dawn, having edged away from Venus after her somewhat disturbing outburst, said that she didn't think they could just walk into Team Rocket's HQ - they'd get killed and their Pokémon stolen.

Venus turns to glare at dawn. "duh"

"What?"

"Exactly."

As the three pokemon are scanned, the Pawniard and Solosis show up red, while the Heatmor shows up blue.

(Oh no? The Giggity has an owner? lol. well, thanks for letting me keep my favorite two)

"All right," Venus says reluctantly, "let's get this heatmor back to its owner, and maybe he can give us a hint as to where we can beat the crap out of some more of these assholes."

"It says the Heatmor's Owner is in (Location here for David to choose. Btw You all Happy for School Tomorrow?). I recommend that after my shift ends we head there immediately." Luna says she hands the Pawniard and Solosis to venus. "The other two… their owners are dead." Luna says. She looks down at the ground.

"Dead, or purhaps simply they were wild pokémon?"

[Ian, if you don't stop bein' so damn happy I'm gonna sink the boat school just to make you sad.]

[Dave, get the plot moving!]

"As I said… red means dead. They were in Pokeballs… Which you took from the rockets who were alive. They were stolen from people they killed." Luna says. "Besides.. it tells you the owner."

"But, what happens if the pokémon were originally caught by Team Rocket? Not that I think such scum are capable of anything more than murder and theft, but I am curious. And what if the owner doesn't register with you?"

"Considering that Team Rocket would likely keep an eye on the system for anything interesting, I wouldn't be surprised."
