Pokémon Bismuth II

The teen executed a perfect Neo Matrix Dodge and the Treecko jumped off the teen's shoulder and watches the Zubat.

"Well that's just rude." The teen says as he brushes off imaginary dust off his shoulders. "I was only stating a fact."

The Snivy uses Vine Whip to grab onto January and Su before trying to drag them to his trainer.

The vinewhip caught January below the knees and wrapped themselves around his legs. The pull caused January to hit the floor hard while he was mercilessly dragged by the vine whip. He thought that he was being attacked for real by someone "Sneasel use Quick Attack to dislodge it!"

The grunt seemed angered by the dodge "Zubat, supersonic on this Treecko NOW!"

The other grunt felt that the girl was adequately dealed with turned to face the teen "Koffing use tackle"
The Koffing came charging at the teen, like a levitating bowling ball, to knock him over.

Daniel has a tough time moving forward, due to the constant rush of tourists and trainers. The people exiting quickly thin out. Daniel finds his path blocked by Brock "Are you deaf? There is a fire. I can't allow you to enter."

Snivy heard the command and started trying to tell the Sneasel why he was dragging the trainer, and what was going on.

The teen smirked as he waited for the floating Pokémon to get close enough before he leaned to the side and pushed the large orb directly at the Zubat.

Treecko rolled forward and used Leer on the fly bat.

January saw Sneasel stop. Then Sneasel took January's hand and started pulling. January grumbled and got up "OK, something funny is going on downstairs..."

Painstakingly he started heading for the stairs.

Unfortunately the Koffing didn't have enough momentum to make much difference, harmlessly passing Zubat. Zubat then used leech life on the Treecko.

"Koffing use poison gas!" This time it was directed at both Treecko and the trainer.

Commander Neptune heard the fire alarm, and immediately knew the grunts had messed up again. She turned around and started heading for the gym once more. If the grunts failed her one more time, she'd....

Su follows January, his Stellarina again out of his ball and following close behind.

Daniel gives Brock a placid face.   "Who said anything about entering, I just want to watch." Daniel gives a small shrug, as Corbin perks up and looks around excitedly.   "I'll just sit over here then." Daniel walks over to the small fenced off garden not far from the Gym, and sits down. He sets Corbin in his lap and pats his head as the two look around at everything going on. Some lady kept spraying the garden with Repel, mumbling to herself about its uses. As if he needed to buy the damn thing...

This was not uncommon for them, the were observers in this world. Daniel was a bit shy at getting involved, and as thus backed away from most of the noise and commotion. A part of him hoped he did not look guilty, putting space between himself and the fire. His dirty hands might give him a look of uncivil persons.

"Crud!" The teen shouts as he runs out of the range of the posion gas. Treecko went the opposite way but followed its trainer's lead. The Pokémon saw the Zubat too late to act and got bit as it felt it's energy being drained. "Give that bat a bit of its own medicine!" The teen shouts as Treecko spat a point blank Leech seed.

Snivy came back around the corner and saw the Koffing attack its trainer so it used Vine Whip to get the floating Pokémon's attention as it shouts a Pokémon insult at the Koffing.

"Good, now I'm at full strength." The teen says as he moves to a position that gave him the best view of the action. "Why are you ganging up on that girl? You should be helping her, she's hurt." The teen shouts at the grunts.

Brock shrugged. He had enough to worry about at the moment, without someone trying to enter. Office Jenni was trying to forge a path to the gym (a thankless task) and Brock started towards her. As Brock left his position, Command Neptune grasps the opportunity to sneak inside the gym.

Of course Daniel was the only one to see this...

January and Su round the corner, almost stepping into the cloud of poisonous gas "Holy ####! What's going on here?"

Two of the grunts in the four-man group of grunts start dragging the barely conscious girl away from the action. The other two join the already fighting grunts and throw out their Pokemon.

"Go Skunky. Use scratch on blue hair [January]"

"I choose you Hounder. Use ember on the snivy"---flames erupt from Houndors mouth as they lash out at the Snivy.

Zubat didn't seem too impressed with the leech seed. It prepared for another leech life against the snivy.

Koffing levitates towards Su, aiming a tackle his way.

"What the- Stelarina, use aqua jet!" Su says as his pokemon lunges at the koffing.

The teen saw that the girl was being dragged away and Snivy was about to get double teamed.

"Snivy, time for flying lessons. Trip them up!" The teen shouts as he pointed at the fleeing grunts. The Snivy saw who its trainer was talking about before running right at its trainer only to be punted towards the fleeing grunts. The Snivy flew at the grunts and used Vine Whip to tie up their feet.

Treecko used pound to throw the Zubat right in front Hounder's Ember to cover Snivy's flight.

"You two better get your guards up, they play for keeps. And we need to get that girl." The teen says as he charges the closest Grunt.

As he saw Brock leave, he took another look to se if he could sneak into the Gym. Though as he glanced back, it seemed another had already thought of this. With a quick look back at the Leader and officer, he stood up and carried Corbin in his arms. He jogged quickly down to the door and got inside, scanning the room for the person who had entered.

Commander Neptune upon entering the gym, heard the sounds of battle, thanks to the empty gym. She didn't pay any attention if anyone had followed her and quickly made her way to the stairs. Her Kadabra followed.

The Snivy's vinewhip was able to grip one of the grunts and forced him to loose his footing. The grunt released Glameow, who used scratch on Snivy. The other grunt now with more weight to carry kept pulling the girl.

Zubat didn't block the ember in time, but was knocked to the ground instead. It took a second and got back into the air, ready to resume the fight. The Houndor released another ember at the trecko, seeing that the first one had hit.

The Skunky's scratch connected with January's jaw, leaving a nice little wound. The Skunky didn't have much time to admire its handiwork, because Sneasel used quick attack on the Skunky, hurling it off January.

Su's Pokemon managed to knock Koffing and itself into one of the grunts, knocking him to the floor.

Serena chose that time to show up, Espurr taking the initiative by using Confusion on the grunt carrying the other Trainer.

Daniel follows in silence, Corbin squinting as they watch what this person is doing.

It was evident to Neptune that the grunts were in deep trouble. Neptune also figured that her victims would be discovered if she intervened or not. She knew Brock would come any minute now, so she decided to leave the gym. The grunts were not worth saving at any rate. She got her communicator out, while heading for the side exit "Alright, we'll need to move fast. Get the gear ready."

The girl dropped down on the floor, falling unconscious. The grunt who'd been carrying her was a few feet further along the hallway also on the floor "Go Croagunk! Use mudslap"---Mud was hurled in Espurs direction.

The Koffing managed to shake off its adversary and flew into the middle of the trainers releasing a good dose of poison gas.

Sneasel and Stunky meanshile were having a scratch battle with no appearant victor. January had to move back to avoid the poison gas.

Daniel breaks from his cover to follow, possibly drawing attention to himself as Corbin playfully throws his club to the ground, its clatter echoing lightly in the empty room. Daniel hugged Corbin tighter, hoping that he could still follow. What gear? He wondered in his head.

Corbin was still young, but at least stew would keep her things in order. Corbin had a habit of being a little troublesome. Just like Daniel.

Serena winced as Espurr took the mud directly in the face, taking a step back to rub it out of its eyes. Croagunk was Poison-type, and she thought it was also Fighting-type. Which meant that Espurr would absolutely destroy it with another Confusion. She smiled as Espurr appeared ready to attack again. "Now, Espurr, use Confusion again!"

Neptune didn't see Daniel follow, preoccupied with getting out of the gym. In any case she had things to worry about. She placed another call "Hello master. My grunts have messed up, but the plan is still operational...yes, it won't happen again...they're going to be arrested, but it'll be too late..."

Neptune rounded a corner, leading to the exit. The last thing Daniel heard before she left was her voice filled with some form of cruel intent "oh yes, I'll look forward to visiting my twin sister again."

A sleek black car wound its way through the street to pick Neputne up.

Serena was of course right. Croagunk got hit with the full force of confusion, flying into its owner as well. Double knock-out.

The other grunt who'd been carrying the girl realized he was on the loosing end. He returned Glameow and started sprinting down the hallway.

Brock returned to the gym entrance with officer Jenni. He noticed Daniel wasn't sitting where he'd been a few seconds earlier and immediately knew where he was. He told office Jenni and the duo entered the gym "hmm. I don't see any fire nor do I smell any smoke."

Officer Jenni was the first to hear the battle "I don't think there was a fire to begin with."

She quickly retrieved her radio and released Arcanine and headed for the battle, Brock following closely.

"Good work, Espurr!" Serena said, plucking the little Psychic-type off the ground and heading for the unconscious girl. Hopefully she was okay.

The girl was not in the most healthy state, but she'd be fine if she got medical attention. Fortunately the fire department and other emergency personnel were on their way thanks to the fire alarm.

The battle around Serena was starting to fade. With the grunts outnumbered, and out-classed, they were as good as defeated. When office Jenni arrived with her Arcanine the grunts gave up.

Brock had seen Daniel from behind and was running up to him "Kid, why did you enter the gym?"

The teen noticed the girl and ran over to her after recalling both of his Pokémon.

"How is she?" The teen asked as he inspected the wound.

AS Brock called, Daniel gave a jump, and ran. He panicked, fleeting out the exit as he watched the car ride away.

"I don't know, I'm not a doctor." Serena replied, not quite sure of what to do. She'd heard the fire alarm go off, so at least some sort of emergency personnel would be by shortly.

"As much as I would love to help, I don't really want to be around when an ambulance shows up." Su says, heading up the stairs.

The teen carefully picked the girl up and started to carry her to the surface and hopefully to medical attention. His Treecko appearing on his shoulder along the way.

"She doesn't look too good huh?" the trainer asked his Pokemon who shook it's head. "Yeah I didn't think so either."
