Takeshi hangs up the phone. <Archer, can you see inside the temple?>

<Yes. It's very large and mostly empty - except for those two people I saw.>

Aaron put the explosives under the entrance to the temple before putting a few clips into his jacket.

<what are they doing?> takeshi tried to swallow the anticipation, he had never taken on more than one two bit mage, let alone two.

<Placing explosives near the entrance.>

Takeshi arrived at the base of the steps at about the same time Rin did.

"Good, you're here, explosives have been put at the enterance, we need to find another way in."

"Explosives?" Rin thought for a second. "Whoever's up there isn't a very good magus, then...so that rules out Team Caster."

"hm, wasn't there someone else at our battle? A tetired soldier?"

The last heir of House Tohsaka nodded. "Master of Caster. But it's like I said - he can't possibly be up there. A Caster-class Servant would have put up a Bounded Field."

"An alliance?"

"What?"

"Hm, too many unknowns, nevermind. We need to get rid of the bombs without setting them off, i would prefer for yhis place to remain standing."

"If I set up a Bounded Field around them, that would stop the explosion."

Aaron finished setting up the bombs and then he went into the case labeled "Experimental"

"Ok, il leave it to you, Il try to lead them awaway so you can sork."

Rin nodded once, casting her magic senses out over the Temple stairs...there they were, arrayed in staggered rows near the top. The field required for this would be simple. She began her incantation in German.

Alice's head perked up sensing the mana build up "Brother we have company."

Aaron puts his rifle on his back and picks up the experimental weapon. It was a heavy device that was basically a modified grenade launcher.

The Bounded Field rapidly took shape, a red translucent box that rapidly faded from sight. It was still there - it would just keep the explosives from going off and if they did go off, it would contain their destructive power.

"All right, Archer, any updates?" Takeshi asks.

<The Field is up. The enemy Master and his companion are still inside the Temple out of sight.>

"Caster, do you mind doing something useful?"

"Their Servants won't attack us until evening."

"Then that gives you plenty of time to set some defenses up."

"As though I don't have any."

"Well you could've fooled me."
