"Well Lander wants to upgrade our IS's"

"We did get the security footage from the stadium, right? We don't need upgrades."

"But do you want to get them?"

"No. Use the parts to make another IS."

Lander turns around "The only thing we recovered was the corse, and also with the somewhat war going on, we can't order new parts"

"Great, I could use the paperweights."

Lander doesn't comment and hands Sarah her IS back

"Now that's just sad." Inara says, shaking her head.

Sarah puts her ring back on. She finds a chair near by and rests, she turns to lander "Any news?"

He shakes his head no

"What do we do now?"

"We-" Sarah starts to say before Lander gets a call "Yes" he waits a moment "I will inform them" *Click*
"You have been given a new assignment"

Sarah gets up "Finally, what is it?"

"You will accompany the president to Rome. There you will talk in front of the UN and negotiate peace"

"Oh, nice. Should I actually show up to that?"

"All three of you are ordered to go, no exceptions"

"And what about the prisoners?"

"They do know who I am, right?" Mira asked. In response to Inara - "Let's leave the stalker in charge of them. And keep him thinking they're traitors. Maybe we can get the Femspy to give us footage of the group getting into a fight with him, her IS would probably catch all that."

"Sounds fine by me" Sarah says going to the take off area

"Same here." Inara follows and Kanzashi decides to go to Rin's cell to get a clearer story.

"What do you want?" Rin demanded of Kanzashi.

Mira took to the air and quickly went for Rome.

Derek rubs his face with his hand before freezing. After a few seconds a smile slowly forms on his lips. He removed the hand from his face and used it to point at his eye.

"This eye links us." He started before chuckling aloud. "It gave me the power to learn about you, learn about your life. *tsch,tsch,tsch* What a waste of resources if you asked me. A soldier, a living weapon with barely any life at all outside of the military." Derek says as he stood up and walked over to the glass. "You're nothing but a gun waiting for your chance to kill. No emotions, no heart that aches." Derek stopped and turned around to look at Laura. "Look at me, I'm no part a soldier, but I have the will to risk my life to save innocent lives. You, just look at someone as if they were swine. Me, when I look at someone, I see a human being. Someone with emotions, someone who has enough of a heart that it aches when they are sad, fills with pride when they accomplish something. You, your heart is almost nonexistent. You barely feel pain. The perfect soldier, but something less than human." Derek says picking up the file he walked in with. "It's sad really. Being the only one that can't feel." Derek says as he left the room but after closing the door. He sits down and pulled out his phone to look at pictures of his past, causing a kind smile to replace the cold one that he wore in the room.

The peacemaker pilots flew over the Pacific and most of Asia in the easiest route to rome. As they were flying Sarah opens the coms "So, we are all agreed that Mira shouldn't talk right?"

Laura continued to demonstrate a spectacular lack of reaction until Derek left the room. Once he had done so, she just rolled her eye.

"I agree. I don't want to anyway. I just got the new Smash game."

"Can you at least try to look interested? We're trying to avoid war here"

"I should care why? America smashes the rest of the world in conventional war and IS war, especially after New York. Nuclear weapons aren't an option because we're in IS units. The only thing I'm likely to do if I get involved is snark off to some stuffy old politician and get us all in trouble. Honestly I'd be better off not being there, but since that's not an option I'm going to play a video game and try not to comment on anything."

Derek got up after his trip down memory lane and was walking passed a few other interogation rooms before noticing the room Cecilia was in without having to open the door.

"She must love hearing her own voice." Derek says under his breath and walks into the interrogation room with a unamused look on his face. "Shut up Brit, you're not helping us anyways."

"Then let me out! I fail to see what purpose keeping me in here with this projector could possibly serve! As Great Britain's IS Representative I should not have to endure this sort of treatment, regardless of how blatantly insane the Americans have gotten!" Cecilia showed every sign of being willing to continue for at least an hour.
