Infinite Stratos: Zero Hour

"Derek," Charlotte said, "I think you should know that Rin and myself can both take you out without the use of our IS'."

Her tone and expression, which had both been fairly sweet up until now, both changed to anger. "So stop insulting our friend."

"Now, vhat are you two planning?"

"Change. We couldn't do anything but now we have the weapons to change that" M says

"You got lucky with Advent" Sarah says "You have no idea who you've pissed off"

Derek's eye stopped glowing before he looked around confused. He then sat down as he seemed distracted by something else. He was silent the whole time until he whispered something softly.

"Friend not foe, remember the flame."

"Take a seat"

"Vhat sort of change?"

Charlotte sighed. This guy was going to get killed. Probably by Rin or Laura. "Anyway, do we even know who those two were working for?"

Rin leans down and whispers into Derek's ear, "use the force."

"I believe I can answer that" said a voice. Coming into the war room was a young blue haired girl with about as many military honors as Ward

"They come from a group that calls themselves Phantom Task"

"Whoever they are, they either have deep pockets or dark connections. Two IS units. Two different types and models. So what does that suggest?" Derek asked as he looked at everyone. "A world wide network. Compare the build types of the two attackers to all known IS units for each country." Derek adds his thoughts in a distant tone.

"Considering what they have now, they don't need either"

"Gives us a start and something we can follow." Derek says in his distant tone as his eye seemed to be getting cloudy.

"How about the trail of destruction?"

After a few moments of silence Derek leans back into his chair. He looked at the newcomer.

"Give us everything you have so far in a timeline format. Show us where it started." Derek says before he falls silent again but his gaze was focused on this newcomer.

The newcomer places a data chip on the table. Then a hologram of the globe came up "As of two hours ago, the IS school was attacked by Phantom Task. In this same instant, while the eyes of the world were focused on this attack a military base in New York city was attacked. The members of the attack are unknown. They stole only one thing" A new hologram appeared in the table showing a highly advanced IS "The IS known as Advent of Thunder, one of the three IS's known to the world as the Peacemakers"

Derek's eye widened as he looked at the table in front of him.

"They used us...we were the distraction, and Thunder was the target." Derek said before he shot to his feet. "General, permission to go down to the interrogation room." Derek requested as he watched the hologram.

"Sit your ass down, Captain Obvious." Mira said. The entire presentation hadn't kept her from watching the professor, looking very much the way a snake does watching a fat, unaware mouse. "And FYI, shorthand for my IS is Advent, not Thunder."

Charlotte raised a hand slightly. "Miss Sarashiki, you mentioned a trail of destruction. What have they been doing with the IS since they got it?"

Derek glared at Mira before turning to Sarashiki after Charlotte asked her question.

"Have there been any civilian casualties?" Derek asked as he looked at the blue haired girl like he was begging for her answer to be no.

"Since they have gotten Advent they mostly have been testing the weapons. So far three fishing boats have been destroyed. We can track its weapons, then next time they use Advent we're sending our biggest guns after them and trust me when I say we have pretty big guns"

Professor Lander laughed "Thats a understatement"

"You shut the f*** up, Einstein, you're the only reason this whole s***storm is even happening." Mira snarled.

"Where were these fishing boats, exactly?"

"And what happened to the crews of the fishing boats?" Derek asked as his body slowly started to tense up.

Laura examined her bowie knife as she repeated the question. "Vhat. Sort. Of. Change?"

"They were carried away by a unicorn angel, what the f%#k do you think happened they died."

Professor Lander proceded to finish typing his last will and testament

"The majority of those that were attacked somewhere in the midatlantic. If we get another reading we can find them"

"The kind of Change that makes you, little girl, nothing more then a speak of dust"

"Ok your crazy" Sarah says "You have fun" she says leaving. She goes back upstairs and meats with everyone in the war room

Laura didn't think that was all the information that they could get out of them, but she followed Sarah back up.

Mira looked inordinately pleased at their return. "So, the prisoners aren't useful anymore, right?"

Derek glared at Rin as his body was completely tense, eye a blazing glow.

"Let me tell you one thing about me. I HATE CIVILIANS GETTING KILLED FOR NO REASON." Derek said before taking a controlled breath. "General, permission to go out and search for survivors."

"Calm thy tits." Mira told Derek.

Charlotte, for her part, stood up. If Derek was about to attack Rin, she wasn't just going to let him.
