CW3: Skies Afire

Aboard the T-bolts' quinjet, Osborn grinned broadly. I love it when they say that. He wasn't stupid enough to say that out loud, though. "Thunderbolts, take him down!" The Goblin Glider was already set up at the edge of the quinjet's personnel bay. He stepped onto it and his boots automatically anchored him in place. A second later and the Glider jettisoned from the craft, entering free fall for a bare second before its own propulsion system activated and it sped after the wall-crawler, leaving a vapor trail behind it.

Songbird, for her part, was somewhat more hesitant. This had all started out alright, but then Osborn had put Electro on the team...and frankly, Electro was insane. To say nothing of Osborn himself - the man had faked his own death, and then incorporated his deteriorating condition into the new Goblin identity and just recently had started adding tattered purple robes over his armor.

Nevertheless, she was the second one out of the quinjet, pink wings springing into being from her back.

Green lantern steps off of the platform and a green aura fabricates around him, allowing him to hover and follows Songbird.

Boomerang leaps from teh edge of the personel bay and activates the jets within his boots and follows Lantern.

Electro jumps out of the jet and faster then any of the thunderbolts speeds after Spiderman. Within seconds electro had caught up "SPIDERMAN!" He screams

"Oh, Hey sparkles, hows the new job going?"

Electro screams in rage and starts firing boult after boult of electric energy at the wall crawler. Spiderman was able to dodge the blasts pretty well, but the standing object (most of them buildings) didn't dodge and they started to fall apart and down.

Spiderman slings himself down to the ground and uses his web shooters to pull people out from harms way. "The weather man was WAY off today, slight chance of falling buildings not rain" he says after getting the last pedestrian out of the way. He then continues to get as far away from the T-bolts as he could, but electro stayed right behind him.

Cap looks to Tony "Suit up Stark. Natasha, banner its time to go" He says running out of the room to his get his shield

"Why what's going on?" Iceman asks standing up

Boomerang is.only a few feet behind electro with lantern following suit.

"Spiderman is being attacked and New York is getting destroyed. Again, and its not by me so thats a plus at least" Banner says

Cap gets his shield and his suit and gets back to Stark "We need a jet"

"What a coincidence! I own a jet. Bruce knows where it is. I'm gonna go get dressed."

"Fallow me" Banner says walking out

Cyclops and nightcrawler fallowed him

Within seconds, the entire group was mobilized and heading out. Stark had his latest Iron Man suit and was flying alongside the quinjet, which was piloted by Black Widow.

"Where are they?" Cyclops asked

They didn't have to look very hard since electro was causing a huge commotion

"Hey, Ozzy." Stark took the initiative, cutting off Goblin mid-flight. "Been reading 1984 lately?"

"What are you doing, Stark?"

"What do you think? I'm getting in your way."

Osborn took a moment to process that. "Since I'm such a nice person-" 

"My ass."

"-I'm going to give you a warning. Clear out or you'll be in violation of SHARA and I'll run you in too."

"Hmm..." Tony made an elaborate show of thinking that over. "How about not." The quinjet Stark had appropriated after the Battle of New York appeared from behind a nearby building. The S.H.I.E.L.D. logo was missing - instead, Stark had had AVENGERS ASSEMBLE painted in block letters across the wings. "Among other things, Norman - can I call you Norm? - your company is neck deep in this superhuman stuff that's practically human trafficking and exploitation, SHARA is frankly bulls**t that reeks of a police state, and you're insane. And you're cosplaying an orc."

Spiderman saw Iron man talking to Goblin and swung over to the conversation "Hey Ironman, goby, funny weather we've been having"

Electro flies towards them but stops before he could hit Osborn

Iron Man was about to respond when Goblin ran his glider straight into him, sending him flying into a nearby building.

AS electro slows to a stop, a wall of ice appears right in front of him and Iceman is sliding around them.

"Hey Icy long time no see" Spiderman says

"Hey webhead, how's it hanging?" Iceman asks, heading for electro with an ice covered fist aimed at his face.

Spiderman swings over the wall and aims a kick at electros face "Not much, I do hate the new plan for government thou"

A pair of glowing pink pincers snatched Spidey out of midair and prevented him from hitting Electro. Meanwhile, bright beams of energy flew from Radioactive Man, melting Iceman's slide out from under him.

Spider-man looks at Songbird "Songbird, we really should stop meeting like this"

Songbird had, as in previous encounters, also constructed a sonic shield that hovered in front of her face. "You have the right to remain silent. That means shut up." And the pincers threw Spider-Man into a building.

Spiderman went into the building, hitting the things inside "Ow" He says getting up. He then finds the heavyest things he could find, made a slingshot out of his webbing and started shooting the things at Songbird

A sonic barrier deflected the trash cans and ATMs, then shot down towards Spider-Man, changing into a hollow dome as it did so.

"I call Hacks!" He says jumping out of the way and out to the open city. He swings and lands on the side of the building

Songbird dissipated the dome and sent a sonic mace after the webslinger.

Spiderman effortlessly dodges the mace "You guys have a real problem you know that? I mean your taking down schools to get a few people. I'm still in high school, my aunt would kill me if she found out that I was the reason that my school got attacked by overhyped street cops"
