Austro-Italian Empire: The Austro Italian Empire suddenly decided to pull out of WWI, despite their gains from the war effort. Not only did the AIE pull out of the war, it also has a tensionate relationship with France after it ordered the French troops to move out of the Balkans (they refused). Some Austrian commanders even refused giving the Ottomans back their Balkan lands.

Aztlan: Aztlan has called for a conference in Rome (which got moved to St. Petersburg) to talk about stemming British aggression. In the conference so far, Spain has proposed to completely embargo Britain. Scandinavia didn’t like that idea, continuing to sell their goods to Britain. The other conference that Aztlan has yet to respond to is the Florida conference between Spain, Cuba, and Jamaica to talk about potentially recognizing British South America. British South America is a industrialized Spanish speaking colony of Brits who are fiercely in favor of independence after Britain called for new elections throughout the colonies.

Belgium: Under the French boot. France is potentially going to use it to negotiate with Britain.

Britain: Britain continues its war, however now nations are turning on it. It currently is at war with France, Russia, Portugal, Congo and Japan. Tensionate relationships exist between Britain and Spain over the blockade of the strait of Gibraltar. Also Congolese troops are crossing into the British colony to gain naval access. British New Zealand and Thailand have been captured. Looks like Britain is in deep poo.

Catholic Church: The Catholic Church is currently seeking papal candidates (which will be selected either wednesday or thursday realtime)...

Congo: Recently united by a young warrior king, Congo has united the interior of Africa. To further promote unity amongst Africans the Congolese are invading the British colony in Africa. They seek to trade with other nations and to industrialize.

Cuba: Cuba and in general Spanish speaking countries (Aztlan, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Spain) have formed strong bonds of friendship between nations. It is one of the nations spearheading the movement to recognize British South America.

Czardom of Maori: The Czardom of Maori is New Zealand “liberated from the Brits”. Essentially the natives created a government similar to the Russian gov’t. The only country to recognize it currently is Russia.

Denmark: The Danes have discovered a very important thing: the vaccine. None of the European powers have used it to get into the heart of Africa, but the possibility is there.

France: Having its troops ordered home by Austria didn’t sit well with the French, and they continue to occupy the Balkans alongside a few leftover Austrian commanders. Since the French haven’t been able to supply their troops in the Balkans properly they have coordinated with the Moroccans to invade Ottoman Africa.

Germany: Germany has recently formed a alliance called the WFP(?) and its most important members are Spain, Russia and naturally Germany. Germany is still swallowing the Polish lands, but slowly the Poles economic misfortune is turning around and the Germans need to find a way to prevent the Poles from requesting their own nation.

Iberian Alliance: Currently consists of Portugal, Spain and Morocco. They are inviting Cuba, Jamaica and Aztlan to join. Current foreign policy seems to be to embargo Britain.

Iceland: Nothing of note.

Iroquois Confederacy: Nothing noteworthy either.

Japan: Japan is showing off its military muscle by having successfully taken Thailand and Manchuria. It has also discovered Australia which is quickly being filled up with Japanese settlers.

Morocco: Morocco is working with France to allow them to invade the Ottoman Africa territories.

Netherlands: Technically independent but in reality controlled by Germany. The Dutch are also trying to put down an Indonesian rebellion.

Ottoman Empire: The Ottomans are getting invaded by France in the Balkans and in Africa. The Balkan front the Ottomans are actually pushing back. In Africa however they are not doing as well.

Portugal: Portugal has recently gotten into war with Britain and it failed to destroy the blockade. Russia and the Portuguese are pooling their navy together in Germany (though Germany hasn’t approved the navies to be there yet).

Qing Empire: Nothing. Just sitting there while Japan “borrows” its land.

Safavid Empire [Persia]: The Safavid Empire decided to stay neutral and is currently ignoring the world. Perhaps it would be a good colony...

Scandinavia: The Scandinavians after horribly losing two wars are staying out of foreign affairs for the time being. They don’t like spain’s proposal to embargo Britain.

Spain: Spain is blocking the strait of Gibraltar for Ottoman and British ships. Their captain (a Sicilian) warns the British from attacking “never fight a Sicilian when death is on the line!” Spain advocates an embargo policy which it is promoting in the St. Petersburg conference.

Switzerland: Believe it or not...still neutral.

WFP: The World for Peace alliance is currently between Germany and Russia. The name may not be the best, but politically speaking the name is what Europe desires most at this point.

Also Myrco you realize trying to break the blockade will cause war with Britain right?

Anyway, here comes a massive update...

Colonize and Conquer Regional Update:

War [WWI]: Allied navies consisting of Aztlan, French, Portuguese, Russian and South American ships have in recent months pushed British war ships back north. The Freed harbors of the French include Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Nantes and Brest. Reports show that the British navy has formed together again in the English Channel and that the British are still very powerful. Brest is being fortified by the French.
----> Peace Talks: Britain and France are discussing terms of peace. Since neither side surrendered, it is more of a try to grab as much as you can negotiation. Currently Britain will recognize the USA, remove its blockade and help France reconstruct. In exchange France will return Belgium as its own country and alongside the British try to keep the Netherlands out of German hands.

Also before I forget as I type this if anyone wants a papal candidate, send him to Rome. Picking this weekend.

Africa:

Colonial Africa: Nothing out of the ordinary besides Spanish and Congolese troops making their way into the British colony and trying to take it. There is heavy bloodshed, but perhaps there will be a victor.

Congo: Congo is trying to industrialize, but is failling to do so. However the Congolese economy has managed to make some profit off of the raw materials present and...DIAMONDS!

North Africa: The French invasion left the Ottoman controlled African territories in further disarray than they already were. As the Ottomans got their territories back from the French in exchange for handing back Madagascar and their former African colony, there has been a lot of piracy developing in the north African territories. Notable is Tripoli, where already in the Mediterranean pirates have captured ships from Spain, Portugal, Aztlan and other “weak” nations. Italian, British, French and Ottoman ships are left alone. In Egypt, Italian surveyors are considering building a canal across the Sinai peninsula. They are currently measuring sea levels.

Asia+Russia:

Australia and Indonesia: The revolt in the Dutch Indonesian isles has for the most part been crushed. To the south Japanese Australia is forming into a powerful Japanese colony, being ethnically only native or Japanese. Cities are rising all across the lonely island and heavy Japanese presence can be felt. Across the sea New Zealand has been liberated and is in the process of crowning their new Czar. Perhaps other nations will attend the coronation...

Middle East: The British search crew for the Holy Grail has been stalled as the researchers found that a trail led into a Muslim holy site in Jerusalem. They are looking for Islamic henchmen to look inside. The Ottomans are also continuing industrialization in Asia Minor, making it alongside Egypt the only industrialized areas in the Empire. Ottoman forces are building fortresses in the Caucuses. Persia meanwhile has pushed out Tatars from their empire and forced them to live in Central Asia. The Tatars were powerless to do anything about the sudden expulsion besides leave (they are horsemen with arrows. Fighting in the mountains with heavily fortified cities wasn't going to work).

Northern Asia/ Russia: As the Tatars got pushed into Central Asia, they united with other tribes forming a strong alliance in the Russian portion of Central Asia. Russian authorities are few in number and the tribes want self government. Otherwise, Russia's economic dilemma has been reduced to acceptable levels. Unemployment remains high enough, but Russian capitalists are happy for this due to their steady supply of cheap labor allowing Russia to stay in the race with other nations. Russian capitalists don't want Russia to encourage emigration citing that their economy will need a lot more workers themselves considering the evermore factories. Japanese forces are continuing their Asian Liberation campaign in Manchuria trying to turn the locals into Japanese citizens.

Southern Asia: The jungle, undisturbed for centuries heard for the first time gun fire. Japanese troops firing upon British troops in British Siam. Japan has claimed hold of the British possession starting to force the locals to become Japanese. Japan claims that they are on a “Liberate Asia” mission.

Europe:

Central Europe: The Netherlands have claimed to be independent, something that France and Britain are calling the “fairytale of the century.” It is true that Germany has a powerful influence in the major decisions made by the Dutch government and that the German army is also the same as the Dutch army. Germany itself has only profited from the war, developing a strong but small elite group of businessmen. German occupation of Poland gave Germany more labor that the venture capitalists quickly turned to profit. To the south, Austria and Italy have decided to split into two states with a joint army and diplomatic front. Like the Germans, Italian traders have gotten rich trading with the warring nations.

Scandinavia: Crowds shuffle around a fascinating invention. A locomotive! While the train didn't come with any track, it was remarkable that something without horses and manpower could go from Copenhagen to Roskilde. Sweden having noticed this invention is investing further research into making it more efficient. For one thing the train doesn't turn well. Scandinavia has also dumped a lot of money into their navy, challenging German supremacy in the Baltic.

Western Europe: Portugal's people are feeling patriotic at the moment, having helped fend off the British navy. The Portuguese economy is healthy, though signs of a depression are present. Spain's economy is doing well, for in anticipation of the wedding between the Spanish crown princess and the German chancellor has led German investors to stimulate the Spanish economy in the hopes of making massive profits. The French and by extension the British are a little scared of the Germans. France in particular feels cornered now that the Germans/Spanish will control countries on both sides of France. This could be a potential balance o' power issue. Britain's economy is strong, but the treasury is not. British elites are tired of the nonsensical war that has cut into their profits.

America:

Central America & the Caribbean: The Cuba and other Spanish speaking nations alongside the Caribbean have recently recognized the new nation: South America. Cuba is also developing a stronger navy claiming fear of pirates as a reason. All the Caribbean nations are doing well economically.

North America: The 13 Colonies of the Brits have meanwhile started developing industrially as well. Colonists are further getting self government, provided they remain loyal to Britain. Recent tax raises have not been in favor of American colonists. French Quebec is celebrating managing to be independent of the British. The colonists of the French and British colonies don't care about the war so much. In New Orleans, French colonists are extremely angry at Aztlan for taking over their city. They demand that the city receives some form of self-government.

South America: The former British colonies, now known as South America have created a Senate to run the country. While they do have a head of state, he is only in charge of foreign affairs. Regions of South America are unified under their capitalistic ideals, the idea of government for the people (or more accurately the elite) and Spanish. South America is starting to compete with Aztlan for immigrants. Slaves that flee from Portuguese Brazil are granted freedom and a miserable job at the factory. To celebrate their ingenuity, Lima has built their first steel production place.
