Scotsmen its not just the stolen tec its other thing to like how sweden started selling to other country and said it was theres and the didnt help the Prussians with a lot of things when they could have plus I thank for saying that i dont know why Frenchie cant see that.

I don't know why the two of you are getting so worked up... I mean, honestly, Sweden's an NPC country, right? So what does it matter if it gets taken over? Not only that, this is just a game.

I'm truly not mad what so ever and I hope nobody reads these posts and thinks that I was at any point plus I am sitting at home laughing about how someone can get so mad about this I realy agree with Scotsmen it is a game and I'll almost never get mad about a game.

While I understand what you meant here, political viewpoints from the game belong in the actual thread. In fact, most of this argument belongs there.

Again I didn't mean to pick a fight I agree it did look like I was but I really didn't mean for it to look like I did I'm sorry if I did seem like I was being an Ass which I was, but I wanted my words to go a crossed as kind not mean and I could have done a ton better job of it and because I'm not going to post on the OOC for a while unless I need to.

And I do get what you said about nation having interest and that what Britians interest are is to win the war so I would like to do that.

Definitely. It gets difficult in a text-based medium to ensure that your words come across the way you intended, without things such as body language, tone of voice and gestures to help out. As a general rule, err on the side of caution. In fact, if possible, err well before you get to that point.

The LOUN is a sort of proto-UN, by what I've seen. I'm not sure Scotland would be seen as a separate nation so much as a semiautonomous province of Britain, so I'd say no but really that'd be up to Britain to decide.

Ok, I didn't expect to have a vote in it really, I just wanted to know. I missed the part about the LOUN as I was reading through.

Yeah it's a peace treaty for all nations in it saying that they will help and defend each other in wars and such and will not help enemy nation like Russia and will trade with each and peachy stuff like that but since you are your own state I guess it desnt apply to you as my has to the rest of us and you would still get the defense stuff so you get the best of both world.

What year is it, in game, and what time of year? Or doesn't winter have any effect in this?

The year is 1725 right now but the time of year I guess only come in play when luft says it does Like if I were to attack Russia I would need to sys that my men would have winter equipment but that still might not help.

And I would like to point out as well I'm not that aggressive of a nation I have only attack Sweden and help with the war in Prussia.

I won't speak for anyone else, but from the Hegemony's perspective Britain is being almost ridiculously aggressive. Here's why they think that. Sweden conducted industrial espionage to steal plans for a device that was little more than a curiosity at the time with possible mining applications. Aztlan did as well, though Britain didn't find out about that. From the Aztec's viewpoint, it could just as easily have been them being on the receiving end of the British Army. Add to that the fact that they don't consider the espionage to be an adequate casus belli against Sweden and they therefore have concerns about British expansionism and warmongering.

Well I can say that after this war Britain is going to take a long nap.
