Venus nods her assent.

"It seems to me that the sooner we figure out what this shadow pokémon is, the sooner we can work on getting it back to normal."

Waren snatches the ball from Aaron's hand. "Agreed, we should go somewhere away from the city."

"Well, that doesn't give too many close options," Aaron states, "so I hope you don't mind the forest south of here."

"Don't see why I would mind, as soon as everyone's pokemon nre healed up, if they aren't already, we shall go."

Jolt got up and rummaged around, trying to find a portable Pokemon healer. For if this one puts up a fight.

Venus heads out with the group after everyone has healed.

Presumably, the group is now in the forest.

Jolt was sad that he didn't find the portable healer, but he caught up with the group and watches Aaron for his next move.

"Ok, pokemon ready on standby?" Waren releases his kirlia

Dawn's Pokémon were already out and ready for action. She nodded.

Waren nodds in return . "Ok then, lets do this." Waren releases the pokemon, hoping for something that won't kill them.

A purple blob of energy releases from the ball, forming into...

...an approximately two and a half foot tall pink fluff ball?

Aaron looks at it, not quite sure what to make of it.

"What...is it?"

"What in the world?" Waren feeling the same way.

"Huh?" Dawn pulled out her Pokédex and scanned the...whatever it is.

[Is this one of those newfangled Fairy-types?]

Scanning...scanning...scanning...

Beep!

Pokemon not identified!

"Can...can pokeballs hold things that aren't Pokemon?" Aaron asks, "Did Dragon prank us?"

"...Is it a new Pokémon?" Dawn wondered uncertainly. Golett, meanwhile, summoned up its courage and marched towards the doohickey.

A pair of purple arms shoot out from the fluff ball, grabbing Golett. Another purple blur blur shoots out, hitting Golett, before the arms releases Golett, who starts to stagger around, confused.

The "fluff ball" stands up, giggling.



"Did...did that thing kiss Golett?!" Aaron asks, not quite sure what what just happened.

[Dammit, I read "fluff" and immediately thought Slurpuff.]

"I think so..." Dawn said, as Litwick fired a stream of blue globes at the new Pokémon (Will'O'Wisp).

[Rolling for Golett to snap out of confusion...]

The fire hits the strange Pokemon, but a strange, yet pleasant scent flows through the air, and the burn disappears from it.

The Pokemon then kisses its hand, blowing a heart at Litwick. The heart hits Litwick, and it starts to stare at the new Pokemon, as if in a trance.

[%$#@ Attract. Worst move in the history of ever.]

Dawn, seeing two of her Pokémon more or less incapacitated, directed Servine and a somewhat reluctant Mawile to attack as well with Iron Tail and Ice Punch.

[Rolling again for Golett.]

Jumping back up, it raises its hands.

"Wait, what is it...look!" Aaron yells, pointing up into the sky.

The few clouds in the sky part, revealing the faint image of the moon. The Pokemon begins to pull in energy that seems to be coming from the moon, before launching it as a white energy ball at Servine.
