(the name "swordsman makes me think that he carries a sword)

"curses" mumbled Spiderman, in response to his first move being a fail. Seeing the spikes hurtling towards him Spiderman rapidly ducks while moving toward the VIP box.

Catwoman a little stunned decided not to give up right away and started punching at MACH-VI.

[OMG RED LANTERN BANE *faints*]

"Heh." MACH-VI smirked inside his mask. He threw Catwoman ahead of him, into the stands, then landed a short distance away. People were by this time evacuating the stadium in something of a panic. "Word of advice, lady. You can punch this suit all day long, but your fist'll break a loooong time before you put a dent in it."

This was going to be fun...

Swordsman let the flail's momentum carry it through a window and out into the stands. "Faster, huh? Be careful what you wish for, kid." He produced twin katanas and brought them down in an overhead swing.

Suddenly, boiling red liquid begins to seep through the ground below MACH-VI. Then, a geyser of scorching corrosive blood bursts out from under MACH-VI. Climbing out of the newly made hole, Bane, covered in a red and black outfit, glares at Catwoman. He points at her.

"You will bring me the Bat."

Fire begins to spread from the red liquid, causing the rest of the building to be slowly set on fire.

MACH-VI, owing to the 360-degree vision his suit afforded him, was able to get off the ground before the geyser hit him full force. However, it had already eaten away at his foot thrusters and he slammed into the stands a short distance away. He cursed, thinking about exactly how much work it would be to repair the damage.

Blue Lantern Corps:

Emotion: Hope

Homeworld: Odym

History: After being banished from the Guardians of the Universe, Ganthet and Sayo ventured to the sacred garden world of Odym where they established their faith driven Corps of blue light. Although there are but a handful of Blue Lanterns, their ranks consist of some of the most holy and righteous beings in the universe.

Major Weakness: A blue lantern's flight is limited and they cannot fly like a other corps, Unless a green lantern is near by.

Powers: A blue lantern can create constructs that soothe its target based on that target's hopes. Blue lanterns are also able to de-age dying suns into young vibrant blue stars that shine in the night sky as a symbol for all to see. Like other power rings, theirs provide flight, force fields and communication. The Blue ring Charges Green rings, and De-charges yellow rings.

Brother Sao: Sector 2814: When a blue ring was shattered in the fight with the Red Lanterns, its shards flew across the void until they crashed on Earth. Each Shard in turn formed a full ring in power, but in size they are noticeably slimmer in nature. Brother Sao found his ring imbedded in stone on a mountain in Nepal. At the Age of 26, He was whisked across space and found himself on Odym under the care of the Kind Blue Lanterns. He Heard of Sister Alice from Ganthet and Sayd, and elected to return to Earth once his training was complete. Ganthet thought it was a wise choice, while Sayd told him that both should stay close together for they do not know the side effects of having a split ring.

Brother Sao was returned to Earth where he studies under Sister Alice, who gained the Knowledge of the Blue Lanterns.

Sister Alice: Sector 2814: When a blue ring was shattered in the fight with the Red Lanterns, its shards flew across the void until they crashed on Earth. Each Shard in turn formed a full ring. Alice Smith was walking home from her work late one night. Her car was stolen, and her place of work was going under. She looked up in the night sky and saw the flash of light as the twin shards crashed into the upper atmosphere. Suddenly she felt a pair of cold hands grab her and shove her against the wall. A Cold knife was pressed against her neck, and she was looking into the face of a petty mugger. She prayed a thousand times it seemed that someone would come help. She tried to scream, but her voice wouldn't work. Just when it seemed that it was over, The blue light streaked away and crashed into her body. She suddenly felt a massive surge of Hope in her body and the mugger's knife broke in the resounding blue light. She looked into the mugger's eyes and filled his body with immense hope, He collapsed at her feet and begged for forgiveness. She lifted him off of his feet and forgave him on the spot. The mugger than ran to the police station and turned himself in for all the crimes he had committed.

Seeing the Blue light, Hal Jordan flew down and saw the newly formed blue lantern. He asked her who she was and she responded, Alice. Hal Jordan knowing no Blue lantern by the name of Alice took her to Odym where she was taken in by the Blue lanterns. She Elected to return to Earth to help give her people Hope, and to help keep a watchful eye on planet Earth. Ganthet and Sayd agreed, and sent her back.

When she returned she witnessed Brother Sao get taken to Odym by the ring. She smiled knowing that the rings were complete. To this Day Brother Sao and Sister Alice have an Uncanny bond for having essentially the Same ring. They Both Watch over Earth providing guidance and Lessons to those who require it.

Alice wakes up in her old two story house on the outskirts of the city. She sits up on the edge of her bed and yawns looking at the blue ring on her finger and feeling the bond between her and Brother Sao. She reaches out with her mind and notices that Brother Sao is dreaming. She pulls back and sighs, walking to the bathroom and steps gingerly into the shower.

[Good on you, Doom, getting more heroes into the RP.]

Alice lets the warm water calm her as she starts to think about what needs to be done today. She fails to hear her phone ringing on the bedside table due to the noise of her shower.

(So help me, you ruin Red Lantern Bane with Blue Lantern shenanigans, I will bring Atrocious down on you. At least let him have a showdown against Batman before you do.

Also Ian, we are ignoring the events of The New 52 storyline, as they have massively screwed with the DC universe. As in, the Blue Lantern corps has been massively crippled, the Sinestro corps is COMPLETELY gone, the Guardians of the Green Lantern corps are evil (More so than usual), and lastly, Sinestro and Hal Jordan are DEAD.)

(Strictly speaking, his actual name is Atros, but splitting hairs and all that. It just sounds appropriate in my head for the leader of a group of constantly pissed off aliens to be named "Atrocious". Especially considering Atrocitus has a habit of doing blood rituals. Such as this:

MACH-VI stood up, trying to make up his mind what to do about the newcomer. Ordinarily he'd just go right back and beat this fellow's face in for attacking him, but without his thrusters...it'd be dicey at best, and he wasn't feeling like getting killed. Better to wait for a more opportune moment and see what happened for the time being...

Songbird sprouted wings of sonic energy and flew after Spider-Man, followed by Deadshot. Meanwhile, Cinder and Swordsman continued fighting Robin, and Radioactive Man and Tradewind went after Nightwing in the stands, the latter whipping up bits of glass in a ferocious wind to attack the hero.

Spiderman shot another net at Songbird to hinder her flight as well as Dead-shot.

Batman burst into the VIP box (coming through the front entrance after parking the Batmobile), throwing a batterang at Swordsman. Robin taking the advantage of (or hoping he had the advantage) decided to step out of Swordsman's reach to confront Cinder.

Nightwing effortlessly jumped over the glass towards Tradewind "seriously, I thought you were a super villain..."

Batwoman and Bat-girl are jumping towards the stadium, and will probably arrive at a later time.

Catwoman is still considering her options, having settled herself among the front row seats.

Bane suddenly stops, hearing the sound of the Batarang.

"That sound..."

He then mutters under his breath, speaking to his ring. Moments later, he turns in the direction of the VIP box.

"You will not escape me Batman!" Bane roars, running toward the VIP box, crashing through anything in his way.

(I found this cool figure someone did and I think it looks really close to what a Red Lantern Bane would look like.)

Songbird and Deadshot both dodged the net and continued the assault. The pair landed on either side of Spider-Man, Deadshot fixing him in the sights of his gun while Songbird held twin globes of sonic energy in her hands.

Swordsman slapped the batarang out of the air with a katana and turned. "Well well well. The Dark Knight himself." He gave a mock bow. "What an honor to be here to kill you this fine evening."

Cinder had had enough of Robin's antics by now and launched a column of flame at the Boy Wonder from near point-blank range.

Tradewind, launching herself forward with super-speed, planted a double kick in Nightwing's face. "That's funny, I thought you were a super-hero. Seems I was wrong." Radioactive Man then hit Nightwing with a blast of dizzying radiation.

Suddenly, the wall of the VIP box explodes inward, as Bane leaps through the hole. Skidding to a stop, he faces The Dark Knight.

"Hello Batman," Bane growls, cracking his knuckles.

Swordsman's perplexed expression was hidden by his helm. "Friend of yours?" he asked (apparently) Batman. The rest of the group was currently busy with Batman's entourage.

"So. Webhead. Where's that smart-@#! mouth I hear so much about? Feeling shy tonight?" Songbird taunted.

Swordsman held one katana blade up, the other one blade down, and stood ready to fight either Batman or Bane, or both if it should come to that.

MACH-VI grabbed Catwoman from behind and lifted her up by the neck. "Miss me?"

(Kinda wish Numbers would post in here a bit more often, the fight with Batman will be kinda odd if he doesn't post.)

Bane looks at Swordsman, tilting his head to the side slightly, before starting to chuckle.

"You truly think something like that will matter against either of us." Bane manages to get out, pointing to Batman, "I've broken his spine, yet he still stands and you really think those little knives of yours will do anything?"

"Uh, yeah. That's kinda the whole point." Swordsman looked at Batman. "Pretty spry for a paraplegic, though." He absolutely did not mention his ability to project plasma bolts, better to save that as a nice surprise for one of these two.

"Allow me to show you a true weapon," Bane growls, his ring glowing red. Red light bursts from the ring before collecting into the shape of a colossal, snarling bear.

"Osito," Bane grunts, pointing at Swordsman, "fetch."

"Osito" lets out a roar, before leaping at Swordsman.

Swordsman hurled a bolt of plasma at Osito and dodged to one side.

Batman takes the advantage of Swordsman concentration on Bane to jump-kick Swordsman.

"They say cats always land on their feet..." MACH-VI mused. "How about a little experiment?" With that, he drew his arm back and hurled Catwoman into empty space, down towards the playing field below.

Deadshot fired and Songbird launched twin sonic piledrivers straight at Spider-Man.

Swordsman was caught off-guard and slammed backwards into a wall by the force of the kick.
