Infinite Stratos: Zero Hour

"We got a runner!" Derek yelps as he gives chase after Advent. Derek switched his close combat weapons with his rifle and started shooting at Advent and above it, trying to force it down. "Force it closer to the surface of the ocean before taking it down. We want that pilot alive for questioning."

"What was that overdeamatic bull%#£t about you blasting it apart captain odvious?" Rin asks over the comm

The battering sent Advent closer to the ocean floor. The pilot then discovered that she could spam the short teleport. With this she dodged both the attacks and started to get some distance from the group

A voice came through the coms "Take her down now. Your heading straight for a ocean linear!" Ward screamed

In the distance a huge passenger boat came into view. The advent pilot saw the chance and headed for it as fast the IS could go, it being boosted by the teleport

The three Europeans let loose with everything they had, while Mira continued throwing her katanas - given that she could do little else.

Inara tried again to use her harpoon.

every single attack made by the pilots was so far off each one that fired didn't want to say that was them.

Regardless the Pirate!Advent caught up to the boat and positioned itself right above it, all of its weapons pointing down "Do anything and the body count goes up just a little bit"

"Und how long can you stay zere? Ve can vait."

"Mind if I have a swim while we wait?" Derek asked as he lowered himself to the ocean surface with his IS still active. "Seeing there is nothing else to do here but wait."

Rin with one hand, keeps her sword pointed at advent and with the other hand, starts to fix her hair that was blown about from the wind.

Pirate!Advent shot a small shaped charge onto the boats surface. In the pilots hand came a detonator "That charge has enough power to reduce a small city to ash. You let me go and I don't press the button"

"You have no idea what you are doing" Sarah says

"If we let you go you'll press it anyway, you dumb f***. I'm insane, not stupid." Mira then spoke quietly into the comms. "Hey, European Union. You three. Circle around to keep her from leaving in the opposite direction, I don't want this b**** running away."

Laura didn't object, sweeping around to the other side. Charlotte joined her, and Cecilia filled in the last gap, keeping the pirate advent within a ring formed by the IS'

Sarah pointed Nova's f@#$ton of guns at the pilot

"You really want to stress test this?"

"How about you surrender and I promise I'll leave the power tools alone when we question you."

"I know you can do a lot without power tools"

"Yes, I can, and the longer you sit there the more time I have to think about it. How about I don't even touch you? I'll let someone else interrogate you. The German chick maybe. Cross my heart."

Derek deactivated  his IS and dropped into the ocean. His blue jeans and black shirt and black combat boots were not the best choice of swimwear. He surfaced soon after splash down.

"Well I'll be enjoying a swim while you ladies talk it out." Derek said before  he took a deep breath  and  dove under the surface and started to swim around the boat and didn't seem to be moving towards the boat at all, but he does swim around the ship and seems to be having a blast. Only surfacing when needed.

"This is getting ridicules" Sarah says "You have nothing to go on and you might as well give up"

The pilot obviously knowns she's sunk but then she, from what the others could tell was a call. After she finishes talking she smiles a really creepy smile, Mira creepy

"What you talkin about?" Sarah asks

She looks at the group, raises her hand and says "Operation completed" she presses the detonator and hell is released into the ocean of the mid atlantic. Unlike most explosions that went out, this one all of the energy went straight up. The heat was like the sun and the water near the boat was superheated, Derek's shields were able to keep out most of the damage but it still burned. The light from the blast was so great that no one could see what was going on. When the light faded, the boat was nothing but ash falling from the sky

"You bitch" Sarah snarls in anger

The pilot laughs "I just killed over a hundred innocent people what are you going to do now?"

"Simple, kill you and take the is back, you just lost your hostages." Inara says before readying her morningstar.

"Does it look like I care if those simple scum died? When you crush a bug beneath your boot do you feel remorse no, does this make you a bad person? No. It simply means you recognize yourself as a higher form of life. I just crushed a bunch of bugs, nothing more"

"Well aren't you Little Miss Hitler-wannabe. I wonder if you'll still be spouting bulls*** like that after I take a belt sander to your sensitive bits." Mira waited for the barrage to subside (railgun, sniper rifle, drones, rocket launcher) before dashing forward with both katanas readied.

Mira was very mad but her attacks didn't even get close. The Pilot just teleported away

Inara shoots forward, morningstar raised and brings it down on the skull of advent...

Derek was speechless as his single eye watched the deaths of those onboard the ship, not even caring about his burning skin.

"They're gone...She killed them...SHE killed them" Derek says as his body starts to tense up and his eye darkened. "THAT B!&#* MURDERED THEM!!!" Derek shouts as he activates his IS and floats out of the water, a dark aura around him as his eye was near black. "Now...I'm going to tear her to shreds." He said before he bolted after Advent with both combat knifes out and glowing. "Phantom Fang maximum power!"

Rin rolls her eyes "once again you are the captain of the great ship odvious."

Derek didn't hear Rin's insult...Nor could he hear anyone else, see anyone else, nobody else was on his mind. It was just him and Advent to Derek. His movements screamed 'I am going to kill' to any trained eye, and the scary thing was that it was true. If Derek even gets a finger on Advent, the one piloting it would be killed.
