From the red warning signs what appears to be blood starts coming from the sky. The blood comes together to form a man in red robs

this time, Brice was less quiet with his statement. "WHAT THE HELL?"

all around him, phrases such as "What's going on?" and "Is this a special event?" are heard and repeated.

A player runs over to Brice, grabs him by the shoulders and looks straight at him.

"Hey you, do you know what's going on here?" he asks.

"I have no idea man." Brice says in response.

The man speeds his arms "Attention Players of Sword Art Online, Welcome to my world"

Brice shoves the player away and looks up at the man. and with that his face grows 3 shades paler.

"My name is Kayaba Akihiko. As of this moment I am the sole controller of this world"

Somewhere in the crowd, a girl with brown pigtails is freaking out and a red headed man stares in disbelief. "What are you talking about?" the red haired man says.

"You may have already noticed that there is no log out button in your main menu. But this is not a defect or a bug in the game, repeat this is not a bug in the game"

"Wait, it isn't a bug?" Brice says in disbelief.

"This is a feature of Sword art Online. You can not log out of SAO by yourselves, and no one from the outside can turn off or remove the Nerve gear. Should this be attempted, a microwave emitter in the helmet of the Nerve Gear with activate, destroying your brain and ending your life"

this statement sends waves of panic through the crowd, people start getting angry.

"Why the hell should we be believing anything you're saying?" A player asks..

"What?"

"Rubbish!"

"Complete bull$#!@!"

"The hell is going on?"

"Ooh, a special event!"

"Unfortunately some players friends and families have ignored this warning. They have attempted to remove the Nerve gear. As a result two hundred and thirteen players are now gone, from both Aincrad and the real world"
All around Kiaba screens of news channels start appearing
"As you can see news organizations all around the world have started to report about this including the deaths of the players. Thus you can be glad that the chances of the nerve gear being removed is now minimal. I do hope you will relax and clear the game. But I want you to remember this clearly, There is no longer any method to revive anyone in the game. If your HP drops to zero, your life is forfeit in this world and the real world"

Brice suddenly has a terrible vision of him being knocked down by a boar and dying.
"This can't be happening, this can't be happening!"


Around him, the same reaction is sweeping the crowd, sending people into a frenzy of shouts and panic.

"There is only one means of escape. You must complete the game. You all are currently located in the lowest floor of Aincrad, Floor 1. If you make your way through the dungeon, defeat the floor boss. You may advance through to the next floor. Defeat the final boss on the 100th floor and you beat the game. Finally, I've added a present from me into you items storage"

just then, everyone in the crowd (especially the yogscast) recieves a notification saying that there is a new item in their inventory. a mirror.

upon looking into the mirror, everyone's avatars (especially the yogscast's) are enveloped in the same bright blue light and suddenly, everyone looks like how the look in reality.

"WHAT THE HELL"
"WHATS HAPPENING?"



"Right now you are probably wondering "Why?" Why would Kayaba Akihiko, developer of the Nervegear and SAO do this? My goal has already been achieved. I created Sword Art Online for one reason, to create this world and intervene in it. And now it is complete. Thus ends the tutorial of Sword Art Online launch. Good luck players" then Kayaba starts dissolving and once he is gone the sky goes back to normal

and now children, chaos erupts.

amid the screaming, in fear and anger of some players, most players either stand still, unable to move by the shock of everything, or have already hidden in alleys, or locked themselves into buildings nearby.

at the same time, all of the mirrors shatter into tiny bright blue diamonds, which promptly disappear after a few seconds.

"Well, that is just the icing on a cake of $#!@." Simon said. He hadn't changed too much; nor had the rest of the Yogscast. Sjin's beard had shrunk and Duncan had gained a few pounds but other than that they were the same as before pretty much.

"Guys, we need to kill more pigs."

"MORE BACON!"

"BACON FOR THE BACON GOD!"

Brice looks at the map to find the next village, it was getting too crowded in the town of beginings.

"Well this is simple enough. We just kill all the pigs until we're massively overleveled, then go back to town and buy some better gear, then repeat."

"It's like Pokémon." Sjin reflected.

A dark haired player sprints past brice, to him It looked like he was going to the next town

Brice starts running alongside the player. "Hey, what's the hurry?" He asks.

"This town is getting to full of people who don't know how to survive. I'll get to the next town for a breather and get to some quests before others get there"

"Not if I get there first." Brice says, being taller and having longer legs, he gains a few yards on the black haired player.

"You do realize this means war" says the black haired player. The two sprint through the fields helping each other when monsters attacked but they still kept a competitive edge to their run. Once they got to the next town they both stopped gasping for breath

"Well that was fun" The dark haired player sticks his hand out to Brice "Cloud"
