Meanwhile at NYSE, daredevil swings his cane, smashing into a goons chin, breaking teeth.

Another goon raises an SMG and fires a long burst at Captain America.

"More of them coming, friend." Kurt said, dropping into a crouch. "Gonna need some backup, I think."

"That he is," Sean Cassidy said, stepping up to the two of them. He was followed by Piotr Rasputin and Jean Grey. "Let's skin some of these bears, eh?"

The last student, smaller than the others, reluctantly joined them.

They moved out of the way - except the smaller girl, who just stood there, looking frankly terrified as the bear landed on her.

And then she stepped aside, through the bear. Kitty Pryde took a step back as the bear looked around for her.

Kitty turned and broke into a flat-out run.

BAMF! Kurt disappeared from beside Scott, reappearing in a flash of violet smoke right in front of Kitty. "Come viz me if you vant to live!" he said, German accent exaggerated. Kitty skidded to a stop and grabbed his offered hand. One BAMF! later the pair of them were standing next to Scott again, leaving the bears confused.

Piotr saw a tree begin to fall and his body began to shift into a metallic substance.

Logan sees the falling trees "This one better not fall kid" he says to bobby through a communicator

Another button pressed and suddenly a tiny ball of molten rock(size of a grape) lands on kurt's shoulder.

"Reflexes are good, now for addaption."

Scott looks around "Lets get moving. You guy go I'll keep the rock off you" He then takes of his glasses at starts destroying rocks

Sean kept up with them as well, similarly destroying rocks. A Cajun student none of the others knew very well was throwing explosive playing cards at rocks, while Piotr and Kitty simply shrugged off or phased through any they couldn't actively dodge. Kurt seemed to be handling things the best, using his acrobatic skill, prehensile tail and teleportation to move at ridiculous speed through the woods.

Eric and spider man were about to leave the elevator when Spidy gets a text that he's needed to take pictures at the NYSE. He puts his mask back on "Sorry got to go" he lanches through the doors swings through the halls dodging everyone and then uses his webs in sling shot motion through the gates and back to town

An alarm sounds, forcing the system to shut down.

Before bobby can answer, prof x's voice goes over the intercom.

"Attention students, there was an explosion at the new york stovk exchange, we are needed there at once."

Logan falls out of his now nonexistent tree. Angerd he stands back up "Bobby, what was that"

Kurt managed to roll to a stop after the tree he was planning on landing in disappeared. "What the heck was that?"

Logan goes to the students Scott goes up to him "Hey I have a bone to pick with you" Logan simply picks him up and starts carrying Scott "Alarm's been sounded we need to get out" he says
