Ireland's Manned Probe with the Test Thruster Undocks from the Space Station Then Activates the Thrusters. it suddenly Vanishes. No Radio Signal or anything. Visual From the Space Station says it Vanished in a Flash of Light.

A Few Hours Pass… And the probe Returns. The Crewman is Still Alive and is Brought down to Ireland For Questioning. Ireland Keeps all Schematics on the Thrusters Top Secret from the Rest of the world. Ireland Also Begins to send the data from the probes back down to Ireland for processing. Current Results and Picture evidence shows the Manned Probe was at Pluto. A New Human Record.

Ireland is Pleased by this and Begins research on Both Thruster systems. Used in Conjugation, Ireland Believes it will allow for Long period Space Travel.

The USSR finishes their project, converting a few ICBMs to be capable of crossing from the earth to the moon if necessary. That done they turn their attention back to the British Isles, wary of the apparent lull.

American scientist have decoded the message, the contents and origins are being held from the rest of the world. Meanwhile, the automatic defense weaponry on board the large object is activated. It fires upon any non-US ship within photographing distance and automatically jams all communications between the ship and anyone else. Testing is still being done on the object, but the defenses have proven themselves already by blowing apart multiple incoming asteroids with sizes ranging from train sized down to parts of atoms.

The USSR has a series of flybys over the US Navy warships, with precision formation flying. The aircraft in question do not carry missiles, so as to assure the Americans that they do not intend to attack, just show off.

The US responds by acting as if they are being attacked, running drills while the USSR wastes resources.

The Irish Cargo ship the Andromeda Is Equipped with the new thruster combo and tests out its reach by making a jump to the asteroid belt and back. The Irish are very pleased and will begin construction of a research post in the asteroid belt to check for new fuels, as the fuel for the new thrusters is very, very, expensive.

Irish Scientists also begin to look for more of the substance known as Unibertarium, found in only 3 countries. Ireland, The United States, And India. Ireland Decides it is best to ask India seeing as the US is not on friendly terms due to what is now being called the Second Irish Revolution, or the Irish-Englo War.

Ireland is currently rebuilding some schools, hospitals, and other social services bombed in the War. Ireland Pleads to England that there will be only More Carnage if it continues.

The war is finished in three months while the other countries are busy in space, and Brazil annexes Columbia.

Brazil would like to remind the world that it is interested in joining in any and all futuristic research projects. Brazil is itself working on an advanced air force to match its superb navy and good army. We are also creating, with knowlege of advanced rocketry and rail guns generously donated by the U.S. and U.S.S.R. as foreign aid, a new advanced way of getting spaceships into and out of the atmosphere.

Once construction is finished the Ship will leave and go to the Andromeda to Repair Her. Ireland also ships some whisky to Brazil as income from whisky sales causes the Irish Economy to flourish.
