"Who are you?" Octavion asks, pulling Anastasia behind him and protectively blocking her while he points his sword at the mysterious being.

The being let out a roar, warning the group not to get any closer.

Anastasia loads her bow and aims it at the being, wary of Octavion's glowing sword. This being is definitely not friendly...

Dezenn shuddered at the sound. "Great, there goes our cover..."

As the being draws closer, the being is revealed to be an abomination. Its' approach suggested that the group better back off before it will attack...

Anastasia takes a few steps backwards and fires her arrow at the abomination...

(Rolling)

Dezenn obligingly backed out of range of any tentacles, beaks, claws, spines, or other various implements of causing her severe trauma. She decided she would try and sneak around it while the Spartan battled it.

The arrow, unfortunately, misses by a hairs spread.

The arrow lodges itself in the abominations skin, but the abomination seems to have felt nothing. Instead it charged right at Anastasia (or whomever is in front), claws ready to strike its unfortunate victim.

Behind the group, the other abomination silently climbs along the wall, hidden by the numerous shadows.

Octavion prepares to strike at the abomination...

As the abomination [I'll just call it abomination 1] launches itself at Octavian, the sword knocks it away. The abomination seems to have been hurt, but is still in prime shape.

Anastasia loads her bow again and aims it at the abomination while Octavion thrusts his sword once again at the abomination...

Anastasia's arrow lodges itself into the abomination's skull, killing it instantly.

"Nice shot." Octavion says. He turns to the rest of the group and says, "Come on, we need to keep moving. The sooner we are out of these damned sewers, the sooner we can be free from these monsters."

The abomination from behind uses the time to jump onto Anastasia, ready to draw on some fresh blood.

The member '99luftballons' has done the following action : Roll the dice

The abomination manages to jump on Anastasia, but doesn't manage to lodge its claws in her skin (shoulders).

Octavion leaps into action (literally). He jumps onto the newly arrived abomination and thrust his sword into its back...

The electricity from the sword engulfs the second abomination and makes it shriek in terror and pain. The monster lets go of Anastasia and runs away.

"You okay." Octavion asks Anastasia as he helps her up.

"Yeah." Anastasia replies. "We need to get out of here."

"Not without that judge's possessions we won't." Dezenn said, moving to the exit.

The shriek of the abomination who had fled echoed throughout the mansion. Ophela jotted into her notebook a note to herself "The projectile resistant abominations are a waste of time. Don't use the spell on page 312"
