Fate/Impetus

Aaron was busy looking through his scope at the fight "Damn." he said.

Saber looked just as surprised as the rest of them, while Caster looked merely satisfied. "Any questions?"

Beowulf grimaced, shifting his grip on the remaining sword so as to hold it in both hands. "A fine trick - you have the souls of an entire city fueling your strike."

"Just half of one, no need to blow things out of proportion." Caster's smile grew wider, and the two Servants began dueling.

Aaron smiles "Now to give the masters something to think about."

He fires one grenade at Rin, its contents loaded with flame mana.

As the two Servants fought, Archer lined up a shot with an arrow - as Caster stepped back from an attempted stab, the blue-wreathed projectile shot towards him.

About five feet from the dwarf, it was blasted apart by small beams of mana coming from the jewels on his armor. 

Meanwhile, Rin was not too distracted to miss the grenade flying towards them. The grenade slammed into the foremost emerald pane, making it sputter a bit but not breaking through.

Archer saw where the grenade had been fired from, but there was something slightly more important to bring up. <Master, another Servant is approaching up the stairs. He has his Master with him, and one of his Master's familiars.>

<Keep up the good work Caster> Aaron sent as he continued to fire grenades.

Gereon after having lancer navigate, a pit stop to check the dogs senses, and 99 luftballoons because you can only play flight of the Valerie so many times. They were finally coming up the street. "finally! Wake up lancer. We've got caster, archer, and Saber. Caster first man Then saber and then archer. And by the way why didn't you tell me we were talking about melons." He said with a smile on his face, as he came to a stop at the very base of the stairs. He left it in drive holding the brake down he looped his fingers through small slightly glowing string pulling it from his armor as it bent and flowed in front of him and his new hood orpiment hopped down at the base of the stairs.

Lancer groaned. "I have to take out Caster before I can have a real fight? Dammit." Nonetheless, he went for the stairs, clearing ten of them in single strides.

Gereon could have sworn he heard Lancer say "Yo" to someone on the way up.

Meanwhile, behind Takeshi and Rin, a fourth Servant had appeared.

Aaron looked through his scope at the new servant "Lancer? What the hell is this guy doing here? Well might as well take out the master."

Aaron picked up his sniper riffle and waited for a shot to present itself.

It wasn't Lancer - though he appeared a second later.

This man was wearing bronze and leather armor, a bronze-colored fur cape hanging about his shoulders, with a simplistic blade in one hand, gazing calculatingly up at the dueling Caster and Saber.

Servant Rider had arrived.

Aaron looks at Rider and using his master's clairvoyance to check the new servants stats.

His stats were pretty good, actually.

Lancer cleared his throat. "So...uh, Caster. Raise your hand please."

Caster obviously did not do that - even with his mana boost he still needed to concentrate on fighting Saber.

"No, seriously, who's Caster?"

"Perfect another problem." Aaron thought

"Caster's the short one with the axe." Rin informed them.

Rider and Lancer proceeded to move up as Saber backed off. This left Caster standing in the center of a triangle formed by the three Servants - with Archer somewhere out of view, bow drawn and pointed at his face.

"Got a plan to get out of this one?" Arron thinks looking at Caster's situation

Caster didn't respond, but Aaron got the feeling that he was rolling his eyes.

"Four of you against me. I suppose this is where it gets interesting, then. Even with my mana reserves I have no way to defeat you without my Noble Phantasm."

Rider, Assassin (who was still undetected by all involved parties) and Archer failed to react to that.

Lancer grinned, raising his red spear to a readied position. "Fair enough - you are supposed to be the weakest class besides Assassin. You'll need all the help you can get."

Rin took a step back, layering her emerald shields in front of herself and Takeshi. Whatever Caster's Noble Phantasm was, she did not want to see it, not with all the dead souls of Kobe powering it. "Saber, destroy him, now!"

"With pleasure!" The immense Servant lunged forward, leaving a gash in the paving-stones below where he passed. His steely-gray sword was held out to run Caster through his neck. There was a sound like an off-key bell being rung as it tore through the coat of armor as though it were only paper.


And promptly shattered against Caster's skin. "What!?" Rin, Saber and the newly-arrived Master of Rider said at once - Lancer looked progressively more enthusiastic.

"What sort of Noble Phantasm..." Rider began, before stopping. Caster's form was rapidly changing before their eyes. His skin hardened and separated into darkened gray scales thick as the armor on a main battle tank. His spine warped and twisted - his body shifting from humanoid to a more leonine shape and expanding exponentially in size. His hands and feet lost their armor in favor of more scales with razor edges and talons that could crush a car like a tin can - his face grew forward into a reptilian snout filled to the brim with fangs, and an immense tail grew from the base of his spine. Finally, a pair of great leathery wings erupted from his shoulder blades.

With the reveal of his Noble Phantasm, all the Servants and Masters present instantly knew Caster's true name: Fafnir.



Lancer looked like his birthday and Christmas had come early, and that he'd also won the lottery on the side.

Gereon rolled down the window slowly as his sunglasses fell out of the car hitting the ground.

"Well, now we know how Kobe was taken down." Takeshi says, voice shaking.

Aaron grinned "Well, I think this is where we end things."

Aaron lifted his right hand witch barred his command seals "By my command seal, Caster use your power to destroy all servants and masters before you."

Gerson heard through all his familiars that he's ben deploying stopped mid summoning of his private army, in favor of driving away at full speed. all 300mph.
Still believing his not going fast enough. while flight of the Valerie came back on his play list and he realized he was really starting to hate that song as he was screaming in his head for he knew that lancer wouldn't protect him.

<Master, Caster's true name is Fafnir.> Assassin said.

Caster - Fafnir - didn't respond verbally. Instead, he opened his jaws, the sheer heat rolling off of him like a blast furnace as a hellish red light illuminated the courtyard.

The resulting burst of dragonfire put one less in mind of a flamethrower and more in mind of the Death Star - it was a brilliant red column of destruction a full twenty feet wide that shattered the pavement it didn't even hit just from the awesome power.

Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on perspective), the initial shot managed to kill nobody. Saber grabbed Rin in one arm and Takeshi in the other and dove into cover - in this case cover meaning behind a sharp dip in the slope of the mountain. The wraith-like familiar hovering beside Rider's Master did the same for him - Rider himself didn't take anybody into cover, just got the hell out of dodge, and Lancer flat outran the blast as Caster turned his head to follow his motion, laughing the whole way. "I take it back! I take it all back! This will actually be fun! Now, Caster, prepare to die!"

He leapt up, jumped off the mountain face, then drove his spear straight into Caster's face - where it sparked off harmlessly. Lancer turned midair and kicked off the dragon's snout before he could find himself missing a lower body courtesy of the jaws that snapped shut just behind him, then turned to line up another attack.

Archer launched a blizzard of arrows at Caster's eyes, but that seemed to be doing little more than irritating him - he shifted a wing to block her line of sight, given that that could potentially blind him given enough time.

"Caster you are a marvel."

Vince went to his computer and typed Fafnir into google. After a few seconds Vince's jaw dropped "ARE YOU F@#$ING SERIOUS!?!"

"Ok, giant f**king dragons weren't what I had in mind, we need to think of an attack plan, assuming we aren't killed of course. "

<Enjoy yourself my friend I'm going to find his hiding sonavitch master. Relax it'll take me a bit you have plenty of time. Just don't die.> Gereon said to lancer trying to find the best location for him to launch his counterstrike AKA hole up.

<Quite serious, Master. I will go after his Master if I am able.>

Kirika, from the other room, wanted to know what was going on. "What are you yelling about? Have you seen the news? Someone just bombed Ryuudou Temple!"

Rin was thinking. "Wait, Saber's killed a dragon, right?"

"I died doing so, but yes."

"...okay true, but you didn't have three Heroic Spirits fighting with you."

"Ok, Archer will handle supporting fire." Takeshi says, taking note of Archer's minigun archery.
