Attack On Titan: To The Last

Eren brings himself around to the top of the Colossal's head. He didn't stay on for more then a second before the heat was to much after he was forced to get off the titan complexly and back to the wall "It can release heat from anywhere on its body, that bullsh*t"

Alette realized, somewhere, that she was now the closest one to the Titan - hanging in midair with one cable attached to the wall and the other to the Colossal Titan's forehead, she must make an excellent target. She froze, unable to bring herself to move as the Titan's face loomed out of the dissipating cloud of steam.

The Colossal titan payed no attention to her and it grabbed the top of the wall. In one swift movement in broke open the door to the gate of the city, the wall was breached.

Alette heard that and looked down at the gaping hole where the gate had been. She very nearly dropped her swords. It's happening again! Too late to deal with the Colossal Titan now - she decided that was as good a reason as any to retreat to the top of the Wall. She disengaged the anchor attacked to the Titan's face and landed ten feet from Yeager, nearly collapsing - her legs didn't seem to want to support her.

"I'll KILL YOU!" he screams at the titan. But then in a flash of light the titan dissapears. Mikasa and Armen come up the wall "Ere what the hell happened?" Armen asks

Alette ignored Eren's friends' reappearance - she went to the edge of the wall and looked down at the hole.

It was large enough for any sized titan to walk through as if it wasn't there. Sure enough the first cuple of titans started to make there way through

Well, she wasn't imagining things. "Fuck." They had to get back to the other gate right now. Not that they needed to be told - nobody could possibly miss the Colossal Titan breaking down the gate - but they had to join up with the Garrison and help defend the evacuees. 

With that, Alette dove from the wall, using her maneuver gear to move around where the few Titans were before heading straight across Trost towards the gate to Wall Rose's interior.

Eren, Mikasa and Armen went to the garison as well

Upon arriving at the gatehouse, Alette realized she really didn't have much idea where she was supposed to go. Thankfully, an officer was already rounding people up and organizing them into squads. He pointed to Yeager. "You, you're in charge of the center support squad for the time being. You three," he indicated Mikasa, Alette and Lothar "are with him." Armin got assigned to a different squad.

Eren discovered that Sasha and Jean were also under his command.

"Lets go" He says as he leads his squad to their appointed position. As the squad waits for orders Eren visibly looks worried "Scared Yeager?"

Eren was about to ponch him in the face before Mikasa stops him "I'm worried about Armen as well. He'll be fine"

Alette was just thankful the cadets had been assigned to support role - they wouldn't ahve to deal with as many Titans. Assuming, of course, that the front line troops didn't get absolutely slaughtered like what had happened at Zhiganshina five years ago. Then they'd come after her and - 

No. Stop it. No point thinking about that. She kept silent as the others talked amongst themselves.

The trainees could hear the sounds of fighting and then as quickly as it came it stopped

"It stopped. Why did it stop?" Alette was almost certain she knew the answer.

"They're probably dead" Mikasa says bluntly

"Well let's go see who became a snack and hopefully gut the thing that ate them." Lothar says.

"Shouldn't we wait for orders, though?"

"Wait" Mikasa says

Over in the distance where the fighting was someone was running from something. He came over towards their group "Armen!" Eren says waving

Before Armen has a chance to scream a titan bashes though the side of a building right next to him. Everyone watched in horror as Armen was bashed against the side of a building and then eaten.

Alette clapped both hands to her mouth, partially out of horror, partially to keep from throwing up.

Eren's had drops to his side. He stairs at the titan for a few seconds, processing what just happened. Eren runs of the building and activates his gear as he speeds towards the titan "I WILL KILL YOU!!!!"

"Yeager, what the fuck are you doing!?" Alette screamed after him.

Eren was seeing things in a red haze as he fairly flew across to get to the Titan who'd just eaten his best friend - check that, his only friend. 

Unfortunately, red hazes tend to make for poor peripheral vision. He never saw the seven-meter Titan lurking between two buildings. It leaped up and neatly bit off both legs halfway down his thighs. Unbalanced and in unimaginable pain, he lost control and slammed into a brick chimney, bouncing off and landing in the street like a broken toy as the Titan who'd eaten Armin approached with that damn grin on its face.

None of the other cadets had moved, but Mikasa was already in the air, deftly maneuvering around the seven-meter.

Eren might have blacked out for just a second, because the next time he knew what was happening he was in a Titan's hand on his way to its mouth. "NO!" he snarled, ramming a blade into the Titan's fist - it ignored him. He swung the other one and detached it mid-swing - it embedded just below the Titan's eye. It continued to ignore him and now he was in its mouth, slipping back towards its throat...He took his remaining blade and slammed it into the Titan's tongue, using it as an anchor to pull himself back towards the damn thing's teeth. He was not going to fucking die like this, not if he had anything to say about it.

And, judging by the look of things, not if Mikasa had her way either. She had jammed the thing's mouth open with one blade and, unhesitating, grabbed his arm and pulled. He felt the sunlight on his hand again, he was out, he was alive and he was going to kill this motherfucking Titan if it was the last damn thing he ever-

And then Mikasa's blade snapped and the Titan's jaws slammed shut like a guillotine on his arm. The pain was like a physical force, like the ground had suddenly ripped itself out from under him and he slipped backwards down the giant's throat, clawing at it with the nails on his remaining hand.

Mikasa, blood spattered all across her front, just stared mutely at the hand and part of a forearm she was left holding, as though she couldn't understand what just happened.

Mikasa looked at the hand for a few seconds before looking at the Titan. It seemed not to care it had killed her only remaining family and it turned to leave. Another seven meter titan approached her with a hand raised. Mikasa quickly jumped out of the way and using her gear looped around the titan to its back. In one movement she sliced the weak spot out of the titan and she landed on the fallen corpse.

"We can't just stand here and let her die too, guys, come on!" Alette hoped she sounded more confident than she actually felt. She fired her maneuver gear, taking to the air and moving towards Mikasa - naturally keeping her eyes out for any stray Titans like the one that had crippled Eren.

Mikasa looks around for the titan that killed Eren, it seemed to have run off. Mikasa gets off the titan as it dissolves and up to the other trainees "Those titans came from the right support. We better support them" she says with absolutely no emotion.

"Wh- just the two of us!?" Alette looked over her shoulder at the other cadets, who hadn't moved yet. "Shouldn't we move as a squad and support each other?"
