Big Brother of Time

(Alright guys I know that my last attempt was horrible but please give this one a shot.)

The fans of the world got bored to the Gameshow 'Big Brother' so they made it better by abducting random people and placing them into the past too see if they can survive the old ways of ancient history. The year is 8562.7 AD, planet Earth is stable and most of life is run by complex machines. Technology is dominant in this time and the contestants all failed to complete their challenges before the three month period was up, following the same outcome as past seasons. The gameshow allows you to have two lessons implanted into your brain before entering the house and time you playing in. All the contestants waisted one lesson on survival training yet leave the last lesson to choice. The remaining lessons are; building, cooking, healing, or training. Your past knowledge from your past knowledge from ancient history classes are accepted and may prove useful so study your ancient history {modern news and big events are considered as ancient history to the contestants}.

Choose your lessons wisely and nobody can be the same lesson unless there are more than five contestants. Remember that there is a three month limit to complete tasks and survive in the environment that you are placed in.

You appear in front of a computer screen, it asks for the lessons you want. Due to the fact that second season almost died you blurt out survival as your fist lesson but you hesitate before saying your second lesson. The computer asks you to choose quickly so the other contestants can choose the remaining lessons for the show.

Trevor Riley was ported in during his last class and he was confused, he blurted out survival out of fear but he told the computer to let the other contestants choose first. He looked around a waiting area like at hospitals but he was on a strange disk and multiple others were glowing but he was two nervous to count and he was really unsure what to do.

[Intriguing. Some more detail regarding where we'll be sent would be nice.]

The computer screen pops up to Trevor with a message written on it as it was read aloud.

"Due to the multiple requests from the audience you are allowed to have intel about your base during the show. We are sending you to three story house that has a basement and two living floors, there are five bathrooms, a internal armory and a fully stocked kitchen but you can't expect to have food all the time (growing time for crops are distorted so about 15 seconds to half an hour growth periods) so having a little background knowledge if ancient farms are a good idea. You have a whole mile of useable land, just make sure you have some early warning devices set for the un expected. You can upgrade or craft weapons yourself  and all the supplies you need to survive will be in the storage shed near your house. You will have your main house right in the center of your mile of land but you can't move it. The supply shed and anything you build can be moved at any time. Good luck and waiting period ends in three days or until ten contestants have joined, current number of contestants: 1.

[So I'm going to try and make sense of this, correct me if I'm wrong.

We're playing as people/teenagers from the year 8000-odd and being sent back in time to compete in what appears to be the Hunger Games for a game show.

What time period exactly are we being sent to? 1940? 2000? 500? And are there other people or what?

Furthermore, what sort of things are we allowed to do? I'm guessing that since you stated random people are being abducted to take part in this that these are generally lower-class people and potentially criminals.]

(No there isn't any crime in 8562.7, and the time period the contestants are being stent too is the year 2015 but my character got into the game by mistake since he is from 2013. The contestants are alone but they can do what is needed to like farm, create tools from the supplies in the shed and they have to live there for three months and survive varying attacks that are chosen by the show)

(They see it as a amazing chance for fame and fortune because the winners win big cash prizes. Some would kill for a spot in the game.)

(Current tech level of this time after all the contestants are chosen. So about five six at most.)

(Don't want to join either RPs but just thought up about how the contestants are gathered. They volunteer and record videos before going into cryogenic sleep until they are chosen for the show. But my character was in a cryogenic lab where scientists were trying everything in their power to figure out how he got so perfectly preserved[froze solid in a blizzard in Alaska but was found fifteen years before the show chose him for a 'wildcard' contestant. In his time he was thought of as dead and never going to be found. Was found by some kids that were playing with a handheld x-Ray scanner when they found him in his ice cave] and they had no other way to get information from him so they gave him to the show for the lols and ratings of having a true mystery contestant in the show.)
