STAR WARS: Darkened Stars

Atton and Archul work on the Sapphire Dragon on the planet of the new base.

"Think the kid will be okay on Tatooine?" Atton asks Archul.

"Yeah. Of course." Archul responds. "Gonna take Bastila up on her offer?"

Helderan brings Mace Windo before Vader "This one tried to stop the mission"

"Maybe." Atton said. "To be honest, I never really gave much thought to it."

"Ah, Master Windu." Vader said. "I figured you had a hand in the rebellion."

"He lasted two seconds against Teren. Everyone else didn't do much being electrocuted to death"

"You have lost your touch, old man." Vader said.

"The oppression of the Sith shall end, Vader!" Mace spat. "We have found someone strong enough in the Force to defeat you!"

Vader let out a laugh. "Revan cannot hope to defeat me."

"It's not Revan. It's someone else..."

Teren, alias Darth Lacera, had been mostly ignoring this conversation so far. After Windu's latest remark, though, she spoke up. "I highly doubt that. Who's this special snowflake you think is so powerful?"

"I doubt anyone that can be a threat" Helderan says (alias Darth Vulnus)

"Do not underestimate the power of the Force, Sith." Mace said. "Your day of reckoning is coming."

"Big talk from a guy with no arms." Lacera said, thoroughly unimpressed. "Look, Stumpy, I can cut out your tongue too, if that would make you feel better. It'd sure make me feel better, anyway."

"Or you can take his head off completely. Save us all the trouble" Vulnus says

"Enough!" Vader said. "I have very little patience right now. You two!" he pointed at two Stormtroopers. "Take him to the cells. I will personally interrogate him later."

The Stormtroopers nodded and dragged Windu away. Then, Vader turned his attention back on his apprentices.

"I have another task for you." he said. "I need you two to go to the ruined Sith Academy on Korriban. Once you get there, head straight to the library and look for a holocron on the Sith Code. You cannot be true Sith if you do not know both the code and what every line of it means."

Two figures walk over the desert of Tatooine. "We're getting closer." Bastila says.

Vulnus bows "As you wish Master"

Teren's bow consisted of inclining her head briefly. She headed off to their TIE Phantom, docked in the Executor's hangar. Maus whistled a greeting as she climbed aboard.

Helderan got into the pilots chair and put Korriban into the guide computer

"If this Sith code is so important why the hell doesn't he have it with him?" Teren demanded.

"I don't know. I would think that it might have to be kept in one place only"

"So why isn't it on the Death Star?"

"I have no clue" Helderan says

Bastila turns around to Luke. "You doing ok, Luke?"

Vader sat in his meditation chamber and smiled beneath his mask. Before his apprentices had gotten back, he had set up another test for them on Korriban.

This holocron he asked for happens to be an ancient holocron which was guarded by the Dark Side of the Force itself. When a Sith Apprentice would approach the holocron, the Force would manifest itself into about five very real-looking apparations- three of which are apparations of the greatest Jedi of the Era and two of which would be their light-side counterparts. If the apprentices manage to defeat these apparations, then the Dark Side would deem them worthy of learning from the holocron.

'This will prove their worth,' Vader thought.

A cloaked figure came out of the shadows and joined up with Luke.

"Not much enemy activity or chatter...its to quiet." The figure said as the wind blew its hood down revealing the head of a cammando droid. "We better make this quick, they could be on to us."

"Were entering Korriban" Helderan says bringing the ship out of light speed

"Luke, do you have any current information on our target?" The droid asked as it watched the surrounding area. "The sooner we get the target the sooner we get back."

Luke, getting a bit irritated from the heat, says to the droid, " so far all we know is that he is hiding in or around the palace of a local crime lord called... Jabba the Hutt."

"Well its better than nothing." The droid said with a shrug. It focused watching for any trouble for the group.
