VAULT HUNTERS

The sign in the train car was accompanied by a picture of Handsome Jack, CEO of Hyperion. In this car were seven Vault Hunters - each could identify the others as belonging to the group by the icon attached to their ECHO devices. 

Since the train ride was rather boring and showed no signs of ending soon, maybe you should mingle.

Axton looked around trying to find a fellow soldier among the group

"So, anyone got some beer?" Salvador asks.

Axton noticed that one of the two kids there was wearing something that might have passed for combat fatigues - he also cradled a sniper rifle in the crook of his arm. And looked really disdainful.

"Hey" Axton says to the fellow "You a soldier?"

"Field Sniper. Left my rank on the battlefield." The kid said before starting to clean his rifle. "Name is Troy Daniels. You?"

Salvador is getting irritated at the others not answering him and the apparent lack of beer.

"There is no beer here / Why bother with that stuff now? / We'll find the Vault soon." said a robot...ninja...thing, in a vaguely mechanical-sounding voice.

"Somebody open me up and THROW THE FIRE INTO THE RIBCAGE OF MY SOUL!" said the hulking man wearing a patched-together mask and whatever scrap he looked like he could have found in the wastes of Pandora. He had an axe with...a buzz saw on it. Which was cool and terrifying at the same time. And he was also staring intensely across the car at a woman with tattoos down her arm.

The other teenage person in the car - a redheaded girl with her hair in pigtails wearing a hooded jacket, skirt, and striped stockings, took a step away from the psycho.

Sal looks at the ninja robot thing with a puzzled expression. "Name's Salvador."

"Hello, Salvador / I am the one called Zer0 / Spelled with the number." said the now-named Zer0. His opaque facemask was turned towards Salvador, showing no expression.

Troy heard the robot call itself Zer0.

"Hey Zer0, my name is Troy. Why are you fighting?"

"Same reason we're all fighting, we want the treasure inside that big a#% vault." Sal says, pulling out a pistol and starts polishing ut.

Troy shook his head as he finished up cleaning his rifle.

"No, robots aren't affected by greed as us humans. So what's your reason Zer0?"

"He wants to buy a nice gun for his killer arsenal"

Troy facepalms.

"Again, robots aren't affected by greed. Let the Zer0 speak for himself."

Zer0, who had been interrupted numerous times while attempting to speak, was displaying a bright red -.-' over his faceplate. It vanished as he finally completed his haiku. "I seek a challenge / The Vault is my masterpiece / A true test of skill."

The girl spoke up in response to Troy's remark. "Robots are totally affected by greed, anyway. Everyone knows that."

"Only when programmed to be greedy. Zer0 here is just prideful since he wants to test his skills. If I'm not mistaken." Troy said as he looked at Zer0.

"Perfect. No one here has any honor do they" Axton says to himself

"Pfffft. Robots get emotions too, it's like a side-effect. Unless you wipe and refresh their program like every month, they'll develop a personality." By the way the girl was rolling her eyes this was supposed to be obvious.

Zer0 looked back at Troy evenly.

The huge psycho jabbed a finger the size of a doorknob at Axton. "You don't know what I told you not to tell you! SHUT UP!"

"Well since your not my commanding officer. I can tell you to f@#$off or you'll have to the misses" Axton says in responds

"SHOOT ME 'TIL YOU LOVE ME!"

"I don't know what to say to that"

Troy shrugged then pulled out a combat knife and started to clean it.

"So anybody have an idea of what we're going to do when we get off?"

"We're gonna go open up the Vault, take the treasure inside, and be filthy rich for the rest of our lives! At least that's my plan." The girl bounced up and down on her toes at the thought of it.

"My plan is to get some freaking beer." Salvador comments.
